I'm. 55 and I first heard this when I was 15 running away from home. Hitch-hiking 1,600 miles /2,000 kms from the bottom of Australia to up near the top... In one of the many rides I got. I got to sleep in the back of a station wagon with a bed in the back while the driver and his girlfriend stayed in a hotel room.
Just me in the back with The Wall playing most of the night over and over and I was totally in love with it and have been since that day... Its an album I could never ever get sick of hearing.. Haha sorry for ranting but just one last thing.. Fast forward 40 years Roger Waters Toured Australia with The Wall Tour and I got to see it and I walked out knowing fully well I would never ever in my life be able to see such a magnificent concert in my life again.. No concert could ever top that for me personally and spiritually.. Haha keep up with the reaction channel.. I do know the best music coz it's all that I will subject my ears to any genre as long as it's the cream of the crop.. I have no time to listen to average music

I enjoyed that. Reminds me of when my friends and I first heard it.
Albums used to have concepts and carry themes. Building a musical landscape
into larger story. I hope you get a chance to watch The Wall as a movie, even if you don`t react to it.
The pre-digital animations by Gerald Scarfe are incredible. Should be in a gallery of their own.

Thanks so much for giving this a watch bro! I need to watch the movie, I'm adding that to the list. This album feels like one of those "You need to listen multiple times and you still find new things" incredible stuff

@@StillColour The movie gets very dark and doesn`t pull punches. It takes some issues by the throat. Those watching without context may be shocked. It`s getting quite old now, It tackles things head on people would avoid today. If in doubt there are endless analysis` of the album you can find on the net....or ask your subs! We`ll tell ya! All the best mate.

Hey there! Your reactions, or rather interpretation is so good that I am thinking you know the background of this album and it's not the first time you hear it? Did you watch other reactions to this album before? I've seen few of them and no one was that good in hearing what words were sung or what the voices in the backgroun were saying. Normally people are rewinding and listening again or reach for lyrics and even though they don't understand the meaning of the songs straight away. If you really listen it for the first time then.... man... chapeau bas! Amazing reactions and the 2nd part of the album is surprising as hell, especially last 15-20 minutes. When do you plan to upload part 3 and 4?

Hey there, first of all thanks for watching :) So I've heard Hey You, Another Brick Part 1 and 2 and also comfortably Numb (you can see my reactions on the channel) so i had a vague vague idea of what the album was about but didn't expect it to be such an intense listen!! Part 3 is coming out on Wednesday and part 4 shortly after :)

By now you have realized this is not a standard album filled with three and a half minute love songs. Enjoy the journey.

Almost suicide, having said "I don't need no...." Pink, who obviously does need... mentally shuts everyone out completely.
He's know almost catatonic, and isolated he's in a destructive downward spiral....
Not exactly having a great day😂
BTW You may have missed the almost inaudible opening spoken phrase at the start of the album "..... we came in"
The album ends with the almost inaudible spoken phrase "isn't this where...."
And this completes the cycle of abuse and mental health problems.

Definitely not having a great day 😂 Oh i definitely did not notice that opening spoken phrase. Thanks for the info Phil!
