It's so true. The care put into some of these with little resources is pure dedication.

I grew up in Crookston. Back when i was in school, i want to say 5th grade, we had one day in the spring where we would dress up in 1800s clothes, pack a bucket lunch, and walk across town to the school house at the museum and see how kids back then went to school. We got to visit the museum and spend the day as kids would have during "little house on the prairie" days. I had older siblings that also did this so i really looked forward to this outting because they would come home with great stories. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you for bringing back great memories.❤

That was really awesome! What a wonderful museum! And my mom's name was Shirley too! Named after Shirley Temple! Everything about that museum was awesome! It was just amazing! I love that they cared enough about their heritage, to save it all! Thanks for taking us along! I loved it!

So awesome seeing that museum! Small town museums are really awesome and you can see some really neat things. All the old canned goods, tractors, fire trucks, and photos!!! I love that diner, too. Looks like a nice place to have breakfast and chat with all the locals. The schoolhouse and church were awesome, too. There is so much history to be seen in that small town. Thanks for taking us along! Really enjoyed watching. Fart on, my friends!

That is a amazing museum. So much brings back memories for many I bet. Like all the old vehicles ! The homes are so fun to see. Like the school house a lot :) The church looked modern compared to everything else. The museum was so interesting 😊

It was strange they had two churches there. The one inside the museum was really out of place. We loved how there were so many building to go explore though. Made it more adventurous. Glad you enjoyed!

I SO enjoyed your video. Crookston is my home town. I spent a lot of time in the museum as a kid. My brother ran tours through the building in the summer. I wish you could have seen the train collection as it was in the 60s.

That's the coolest small town museum ever! I love checking out things that are very old, and this place has a lot of that. I'm not big on tractors either, but you have to love these amazing works of made in America art. I'm with you Charlie, I would have to wear a scarf, goggles and maybe even one of those old leather derby hats if I was driving one of those 1920s sweet rides. Museums are awesome, and this small town one is spectacular.
    Great video guys!!
    I hope y'all have a great 4th of July

Wow! That museum is chock full of everything! Including the kitchen sink! I wanna say peony for that white flower Liz. I recall my mother having those ages ago. Speaking of museums, i hope you have the royal tyrell in mind for when you guys make it out my way. Hopefully not this weekend as I’ll be out of town.😅

Dang that spare tire cover took a beating , hope your spare is ok , that was a really cool museum , i always wanted to see a couple tins of gallstones in a museum guess i can scratch that off my list now , those old tractors looked like death traps , thanks for sharing

Haha! Those gallstones were pretty random. Glad we could help you cross a bucket list item off. Oh and the spare is fine, just a bit exposed for now. Gotta find a junkyard to snag a new one.

I always enjoy the cool perspectives you use, so creative, different and inspiring! Awesome Cafe, cool place and lots of history there. Oh no, but glad it was easy to get out, didn't no there was a spare tire cover, but just check and mine has one too. Pretty flowers, gorgeous. Nice museum, lots to look at and go back in time with. All the mammoth pieces is cool, sweet petrified wood. Love the old relics, foods, packages. Wow, didn't no that about barbers and the colors on the pole red and white. Interesting about sitting up while sleeping and the beds. Awesome variety of history here too. The train is cool.l, crazy how they had to climb up to the driver seats, that's a sweet idea to convert a caboose into a home, love it. Sweet old tractors, some seriously old one too! I'll have to ask about the age of ours at the barn, things pretty old, but probably not as old as these. I bet a lot of these if not all of them still run too. Super old cars too, so cool, a scarf and goggles, good call. Very cool old fire trucks and old equipment, very fun going back in time there. The hose carts and rope off hose lines is creative. I definitely look forward to these videos, and enjoy catching up watching a few at a time to make a movie! The summer kitchen was cool. I don't no my flowers either! Love the cracking paint on the furniture, beautiful old age there. We all waved back to you waving in the mirrors Liz! This world is special, all the flowers are pretty. Really nice old class room and books. Never seen a hanging globe before. Cool basement under the church there, interesting! Well this was fun, thanks you too!

We learned a lot at that museum too. It was cool how they had all those different themed buildings. Glad you can make a movie of our episodes. They all are in order so I'm sure it makes sense to do that. We're so happy we can actually watch youtube now that we have more time to. RUclips is our learning and relax time. And to see what our friends are up to. So we've really missed that. We have had some catching up to do on editing and channel stuff, but our routine will be back in order soon enough. Hope you, the fam and the farm are doing well. Any more luck on finding a 2nd home?

@TheAdventureCloset that's awesome and exciting to hear.
Yes, we got a place, it's down state, but still in the woods down there, 5 acres with a huge pole barn with a car jack built in and compressed air setup, the person was a mechanic and had sports car, there's also huge Chick coop garage next to a big green house and a few trails in the back through the woods. We plan to live half and half, here and there, spend time down there when visiting family's there, we will also go down there when lily and Jess had horse shows to go to. We need to build a fenced area for the horses and that's about it. The house is setup for all those tech guys too, touch tablet controlled! There's also water and power ran to this tree in the back, they wanted a future tree house back there. We will never want to move fully back down state, we love the country life barn life too much for that, but it's a good investment if nothing else to hold value when cash might fall.

This is a very cool museum and I always look forward to The Adventure Closet videos ( I been doing catch up 😁) I love small towns and I really love small town museums they are the best , I mean yeah hearing about famous people in big museums is cool but I can read about them in any book , small towns give the AMAZING local history of just simple folks who did something big for the town and that to me makes them worthy of learning about....
Great video as always you two

We totally agree. Small town museums are rare gems. We also need to do some catchup. We've upped our overtime for these last few weeks of work so it feels like we're missing out on all our "shows" aka our friends youtube channels. Can't wait to see what you got into on your travels.

You found a gem of a museum! Unfortunately, Liz was only at 50% correct on the flowers. The white one is a peony. I think that’s what the e pink one is too, but I couldn’t see it well enough to be completely sure. As always, thanks for an interesting video.
