I have been hearing that these are some of the best Quartz watches in India. So, I decided to buy one to find out for myself and I bought it in Tiffany Blue Dial. It is a decent watch from an Indian brand with decades worth of history.

I can relate to the situation. I wore my digital casios for almost 6 years of school and university, then it took 1-2 months to be used to the analog dials.
Wow! 1-2 momths to get used to the small dial? I don't know if I can do that in 2 months. Probably a year 🤣🤣

The stock bracelet is pretty good for the price. If you want to go budget then there's a risk of longevity being cut short. Check out @watchandmoreindia. He makes strap recommendations.
Need to get durable .. Which option to go for... Neither very expensive not cheap

They keep restocking. Please check the website everyday. Couple of days they were out of stock but today they were available

Kedar premium silver grey and Tiffany blue got diamonds glittering and other variants (colors) don't have idk why 😢

Why not open up the caseback and check which movement it has? The WR can't go worse than 3 atm anyway once you manually close it up.

I don't know why, but HMT just changes its bracelet for the same watches in different batches. I've seen the same tareeq in an interlocking bracelet version, and another type of bracelet too. It's not changed by the buyer, but it's changed periodically by HMT itself, don't know the reason behind it. Actually tareeq looked even more crisp in the interlocked kind of bracelet.
That was a limited edition tareeq. Only 1000 watches were produced.

It might be too big for skinny Indian wrists. It will look weird. But if you like it but it. Looks like a G-Shock, has G-shock like specs. For 2000 INR it's a good buy

Tareeq tiffany blue is giving competition to Casio and citizen Tiffany Blue line-up.
All I wish is HMT should spend money on marketing and supply chain part to make their presence.
There's no need for them to have a supply chain when they aren't making enough pieces. Casio offers more in terms of WR compared to Tareeq and have better bracelet from what I have heard. Casio's dial is cleaner too
Will definitely have to buy now. Is the other varient has a dark blue dial? I think this Tiffany is getting too much hyped. But at this price range. Maybe I'll grab one too.

That's one watch I want to add to my collection. If you have the money you should get it. But I would suggest waiting for some discount Because it might be overpriced because of the Tiffany dial

I have a very important question that is the site available is real? Or it's fake. Cz I went to a offline watch shop and asked that if they had any hmt watches so the person in that shop told me that hmt has stopped making watches any more!

Yes, it's a genuine website for the brand/company
HMT makes mostly quartz watches. What he meant to say was- they don't make hand-winding mechanical watches anymore.
They recently delved into automatic watches.

Why aren't HMT making the hand wound watches again ?
Because the watch factories shut down in 2016 and for a brief period there were hand-winding movements on sale based on stock. Once they ran out, if was all quartz that they had available. Now, they have gotten into the automatic segment.

The 0231 movement was designed by citizen,hmt just modified it a bit. But now their licenses period has ended hence they can't produce it again

I'm not a big fan of the so called "tiffiny blue" dial..but this one looks really good. I genuinely didn't like the casio tiffiny model, but this one is definitely a steal deal. I just wish they shouldn't have changed the "hq" logo with the new "QUARTZ" one..baki it's first class watch!
Some Tareeq variants have the hq

I absolutely hate it when seconds hand doesn’t align with the seconds mark on the dial with every movement. Other than that it’s a perfect watch to add to your watch collection.
