I usually use isopropyl alcohol but due to its unavailability,i have used normal petrol. U can use petrol to all parts except hair spring, its also not advisable to use if the watch is rusty.Better go with the former one. Keep Supporting, please share and subscribe🙏
@@yogeshaar7386 I am a hobbyist watchmaker. I have my own collection of mechanical and automatic watches such as Omega, Longines, Tissot, Baume & Mercier, Hublot, Rolex etc. I am a retired person staying in Mumbai. I have most of the equipment for watch repairing except the ELMA cleaning machine and the Ultrasound. I use Isopropyl alcohol 99.9% that I buy from Amazon. I have some watches which need spare parts, which are not easily available in Mumbai. Therefore, I would be much obliged if you could inform me the source of obtaining the watch spares.

I think probably this 2030 movement is not the same as HMT used...there are 2 differences in my eyes...(1) in the original hmt movement, there waa a jewel on upper base plate where magnet is placed..(2) in the original hmt movement, PCB waa bigger than it...
Some watches like ALLWYN, PUREWALL were used before a long years ago...and those watch parts were not so easy to find in those days also...specially coil and pcb...
Sir,any lubrication need to be used during assemble
Lubrication isnt necessary. you can use very little if u need.Excess will cause dust accumulation. Also wheel will get strucked.

Hmt is a subsidiary of citizen, which also owns miyota. So it seems like they have rebadged the miyota as hmt.
