Every time I get on, there’s always at least 2-3 players that are single to double digit.
With Excavator power armor, I suggest looking at the mods tab of vendor bots because they sometimes have the box mod for Calibrated Shocks (and Emergency Protocols). That way you can try to get the extra carry weight for a few caps, instead of needing the plan and then having to use Flux

The Holy Fire is so awesome! I have one on my heavy gun build, and rolled a furious/faster fire/faster reload.
It literally melts enemies, LOL!
And thanks to Bethesda's dropped ammo mechanics, ammo is no longer an issue, especially if you do a Daily Ops once a day.
At this point I thought I should've played enough of the new events to get the Holy Fire but no. I guess I settle for a 8th copy of Luca's switchblade

I suppose a minor bonus, if you check the mods tab in any station around the Ash heap- there’s a good chance for Excavator mods like Calibrated shocks which is quite cheap to buy the mod than the plan

Holy Fire/Cremator build is the GOAT
I like a nobody talks about "stabilized" ads 45% armor piercing to heavy weapons (doesn't feel like 45) increases accuracy ( less spread) if you run that with a shotgun build and pepper shaker you can hip fire and snipe at the same time
Edit: I had it miss written that 45% doesn't help,... it feels like double damage
Liefegiver in my optinion is wasted points.
I play Junkie heavy gunner (Full and low life) and never needed lifegiver. Fireproof and Ricochet is enough
I've been using Covert Operative and Sneak with the Holy Fire and Follow Through. It's pretty fun.
Felt like returning to max hp builds, tired of the bloodied meta

Bought a holy fire from some dude for 500 caps. Vamps - wep speed - breaks slower. Figured it was decent enough to try this
Thank you for this build! It's super easy to get what you need. It plays super easy and absolutely slaps! Solo expeditions, solo daily ops, solo world events... no problem! Solo nukes... done!
Missed out when these were every hour, but I just got lucky after so many hours of server hopping. Going to rebuild my pyroarmor tank now!

I just hit level 100 today, and looking to change my self-made rifleman build. I had no idea you could turn off the PA HUD! This build looks great, can’t wait to give it a try - thank you!
Early in game no legendary perks for beginners information is good.
Been running with Holy fire/Plasma caster since release of this weapon. It is truly powerful build. All operations or the Pitt are easy to solo.
I didn't change legendary effects, it is great as is.
Fuel consumption is a downside, craft is expensive, so I'm getting ammo from the Pitt or operations. Also it breaks pretty fast even with the legendary effect of 50% slower breaking rate.
Enclave plasma flamer might be stronger, but it's benefits from single shot carabins perk cards, while Heavy weapon can combine multiple strong weapons which you can swap on fly.
Also take Adrenaline 5, your headshot damage with Holy fire will be around 400.
And I suggest to use only energy weapons, so you will only need one perk card to reduce ammo weight, instead of two different cards.
This build is amazing I love it so much I decided to put on Bear Arms and I carry around multiple holy fires so I have to repair less often :D I have a feeling the chainsaw will be better for bosses and not sure if it's possible to combine it with this build, but I haven't rolled a vampire chainsaw yet anyways.
how do you get enough fuel? no matter what i always run out to fast
@@cqbx I've never had a problem with fuel on holy fire. It uses WAY less ammo on average than drops on each enemy. Just make sure you aren't holding down the trigger when stuff is already dead or spraying and praying. I'm firing in short bursts most of the time. Also make sure you are area looting to get all the fuel off everything.
@@vezrien yeah i use it but they usually only drop about 15-30 fuel and it takes me like 100 to kill them with all the perk cards,i will say i dont have the napalm tank but idk if that would do to much
instead of luck of the draw wouldnt it be better to have Starched Genes to avoid the mutations to be eliminated by Radaways my man? Or are you trusting on the What rads legendary perk to eliminate rads?
pa gives you huge radiation protection so even one star what rads is enough to heal rads, the only place where it's not enough are radiation rumble tunnels
I don't have most of those perk cards you are using at lvl 50 unfortunately.
keep taking more as you level up every level up you get a new card of your choice, you can get lucky with perk card packs from score board but that's not guarantee

I've been playing for a while, but never really gotten into a proper build for this - I defaulted to the Fixer and a sneak commando, but even that isn't really to my liking. I've tried some (random) heavy weapons before and never could find something that 'clicked' - I'm interested in seeing how this would go - Just gotta farm up that weapon now :D (And my Legendary perks are awful, so this'll help - Kinda going back to the drawing-board on this)

can you do a video on The Dragon? I guess there wouldnt be much to it. No mods, and just go straight rifle build, but I circled back to it, and im having so much fun with it. But idk, if you feel like you could add any insight to it, even if its just a quick video, i'd definitely watch it lol.
I always use Suppressor over Tenderizer. Is Suppressor somehow broken or is this just a max damage beginner build?
More damage often comes out as less damage to you because if things die fast enough they don’t do much damage and things that can live long enough like really strong enemies suppressor makes little difference
Finally bought the plasma caster and gawddamn I’ve been missing out
I would ditch lifegiver increase charisma so you can share 2 star cards and add 3 to strength for blocker. Otherwise great build.
How does this compare to the lazy chainsaw build?
HF is deff one of the best new weapons. Wish this would have come out before I traded my life away for my vampffrfr Flamer. Lol

Great video as always, AT. :) One thing I would add about the build is that is it a build that requires good management of Fusion Cores, as being in PA will use them up constantly. So knowing how to get a steady supply of Fusion Cores to power your PA is crucial.
can this build be used wtihout holy fire weapon?
Fireproof is currently broken.
Is the flamer fixed? It will still have range even with the extra damage muzzle equipped?

Still waiting for the "I just wanna play" build. I've took almost this exact build to Sunrise field to test on the Mirelurk queen. After over a minute I just walked away. To be fair I didn't try this on a lowbie. Maybe it's different at level 30-50 but at 700+ this isn't even usable damage. So what gives? If you're not using all sorts of temporary buffs.
Your damage numbers are more than double mine! I'm seeing hits register 30's not 100's lol

@@AngryTurtle I think that every time. Every time I do between 1/4 and 1/2 the damage you do. Every weapon every video. Not just you. No one shows a build that's just raw. An always the same damage build. Always temporary buffs, always adrenaline. I wish someone would show a build that will deliver the same results in every scenario. Whether you shot 10 enemies first or not.

Probably not but if you input all the perks to nukes and dragons website it will show you the order perks unlock

Do character level play a part? I’m just lvl 152 at the moment using vampire holyfire

only lvl of the weapon affects the damage, you need weapon lvl 45 or 50 this is max for items

I started a new character like two weeks ago and basically made exactly this build
Except I decided to make it low health because I don’t usually play bloodied
How do you farm fusion cores? Is it just getting power plant workshops?
That and the item in the brotherhood bundle I think(real money one) that gives an item that recharges Cores
as well pa frames, fusion generators plus random world spawns
Great vid as always, Turtle. I figured this out on my own when I first started, using a V FFR flamer and the FW. I ran this way well into the hundreds before really getting into XP buffs thanks to your channel, and then finally trying bloodied around level 400. I still like to play full health unless I'm grinding the scoreboard. And my main power armor is still Excavaytchor!

Beginners are the future of are game, especially since but thes day has pissed off 99 % of the veteran players with there ridiculous decisions. Nuclear winter gone, legacy weapons taken away, non tradable gear and plans.

EDIT: wait, so you guys aren't talking about the good 'ol barrel switch glitch, you're saying the long barrel doesn't work. I wasn't aware of this. I might actually be running the regular barrel. Sorry for the bad info.

Yea Adognamedkevin is right berserker is nearly useless it’s one of the few legendary effects even I who tries to appreciate all even things in the game not matter how “not meta” they are find berserker useless
I can’t remember the exact amount … but if you have like over 30 damage reduction on your armor … the berserker damage bonus starts to go down fast. So, being in excavator armor with a berserker gun is pointless because excavator is already giving you soooo much armor, too much armor.

But berserker is the best weapon to use as a challenge role play. Good challenge build because you basically can’t have any ballistic or energy resistance. You can still use legendary armor… the trick is to have them completely broken. Broken armor doesn’t give any damage reduction but allows you to keep the legendary buffs. … just don’t ever take off a broken piece because you can’t re-equipped a broken piece.
You need one guy army maxed out under luck as well. With the holy fire gun it will make the enemy appear frozen, not able to fire back!
With this a PA is not necessary and you can have chest piece with the Pneumatic Torso Mod, then you will not be staggered that much, you can continue fireing away mostly at all times.
