  • My truck broke down on the trail and kept blowing the EFI fuse. I replaced the Fuel Pump and couldn't figure out what was going on until it broke down again and I was forced to figure out the problem. This is how you can fix your vehicle if your EFI fuse keeps breaking. Don't replace your fuel pump, Do this instead.

I got myself the same situation with the EFI fuse. Mine blows on bumpy roads which tells me it’s a short to ground via some random wire in the EFI relay. Gonna check tomorrow and see if I can find the problem. Hopefully my fix is as simple as yours. My luck it will be a wire in the fuel pump.

It's a short to ground. A fuse is a soldier who's only job is to die to protect the wiring.

I have a $500 ranger with 355k miles never have any problems. But people hate on ford and charge way to much for Toyotas. Thanks for another video!

I love my Yota. I’ve had every brand including Jeep and Toyota makes em right. No hate though cuz we all just out here trying to enjoy the same thing just a different way to get there

I found nothing. EFI relay I unplug and it goes away. But when I plug it in it comes back. The short at the rely pins is very little.

They call it a "wiggle Test" Use only 15 amp even if it is a breaker. Then grab wireharness in small sections and wiggle while engine is running. If it trips relay, wiat for reset, start engine again and try same spot.
