I’m so excited for you and your journey. I’m coming up on a year in about a month and I have to say I made the best choice for myself to get locs. It’s been a learning experience but so so worth it.

Your also supposed to do it while wet

This was done over the course of a few hours/a couple of days. My hair started off wet and just dried over time, however I sprayed my hair thoroughly before attempting to part and before twisting

your parts are so neatttttt. 🤩I lovvve it. I think imma make the leap towards the end of the year cause I still want to get some cornrows and maybe one more silk press. 😭🫣I dunno lol. I’m also not sure if I’m gonna do them myself or have something else do it because I want mine small. That’s gonna be a lot of work if I do them myself & I want them as neat as possible so I know that’s gonna be a lot of money if I go the salon route. Idk what imma do 😭🤣 but I love this for you!! ❤❤

Thank you sis! I’m enjoying them so far and learning how to love my hair at this stage! It’s a process but it’ll be worth it in the end! 🙌🏿 Yeah I don’t see anything wrong with going to the salon for them! Plus the loctician can put it in a cute style for you, too! 💁🏿‍♀️ You’re right though, the salons are really pricey but I’m sure you’ll be able to find someone who’s good at what they do and for the right price! I did it myself cause I’m kinda far from locticians!
