- Hiii guys! Welcome or welcome back to my channel Xx In today’s video I'm showing you my updated mini twists routine as I try out new products! This is the perfect protective hairstyle if you want a lil break from dealing with your hair. I usually keep these in for about 2-3 weeks. I have my moments where my hair becomes overwhelming for me to manage, if that showed on my face a bit. I'm still glad I got to get this video out and I hope you enjoy!

ima 14 year old girl in 8th grade and i want to do mini twist so bad because theyre so good for the hair but the style isnt like popular and i feel like i would get made fun because it isnt the popular protective styles like knotless and feed in braid styles other black girls wear at my school
I personally think it’s the best style ever even if it isn’t popular. I understand how people can be mean and say not so nice things, but it’s up to you to tune out the noise and feel confident with what you love about it. Who knows, you can probably make it trendy!😉💖 Or id recommend trying the style over any break to slowly build confidence without the pressure of being in school. I’d love to see a world where more black girls rock mini twists. Love you!💐
I'm also 14 and I want to say it's not that braids are trendy we just don't have the energy or time for mini twists. I'm thinking of quitting my braids though and start taking care of my natural hair. I personally think mini twists are stunning and would wear them if I had the time to do it.

I absolutely love innersense. I feel like they sent you the wrong products for the curly hair. Pure harmony hair bath shampoo is amazing and also the radiance color conditioner is so good for moisture, detangling and slip. I’m 100% natural meaning no dyes in my hair or any other chemical and I still use that conditioner. Been using these products for 3 years now ❤️

I agree. I use the color radiance line and both are amazing, and the conditioner is like no other I've ever tried (I have 3c/4a hair so I've tried a lot of products)

They sent her the clarifying shampoo and its job is to cleanse any product or buildup. Always follow up with a moisturizing shampoo followed by conditioner. You’re right about them not sending her all the right products for her hair type.

I put my mini twist in after watching your video a few weeks ago and my gosh i love mini twist. I cut off a few spots in my hair trying to take down crochet so mini twist it is until further notice 😂

Water is the best hydrator 🙌🏾 also last time I saw your mini twist video short, I couldn’t do mini twists but I found someone with fine/thin curly hair and their method was great and I finally succeeded lol. Also, I love your truthful review of the shampoo.

@@AskingAlexandriaNeon one of the women that I saw used mousse instead of a cream to set her hair and it fluffed up more, which is what I tried! But also after my second trial and error, I’ve found that if I wait until the day after washing my hair and putting my hair product like a leave in or lighter butter and then the next day twisting the hair on dry hair with hair grease like Blue Magic Indian Hemp, they look much better and thicker but my friend who is type 4 finer hair said that she couldn’t do that on her hair, so just a heads up.

It takes me like 4 -5 hours to do mines yours look beautiful.
I don’t know why but i blow dry my hair then at the end i put a good amount of water or mouse to curl my ends. I am never successful with air dried hair. Always so interesting to see other people do their process.

You used two of their clarifying products back to back. They should have sent you their Hydrating Cream Hairbath which is a moisturizing shampoo. Then follow up with your conditioner or the color radiance conditioner.

I haven’t done mini twist in a whileeeee. & our hair is so similar, you make me want to do them again.
& the only inner sense product I use is the gel.

That’s crazy you don’t use any leave in conditioner, styling cream, or oil to seal. I’m super intrigued lol. Every natural girlie always preached how you needed the LCO or LOC method to maintain moisture and you over here living your best healthy hair life without it. I love it! I am curious if you ever use any of the other products or always use mouse and water?

Hi Ashley! Where did you get your hair towel from? Also I did some twists a few weeks ago and they did not turn out right😢. I don’t think I sectioned my hair correctly and I didn’t twist from the root good enough. Also, I let my hair air dry which caused extreme shrinkage.
Would you say making sure I section my hair properly and not letting my hair air dry will give me a better turn out? My hair is very thick like yours.

Twisting from the root does make a difference if you’d want to try that next time! You can also try fully drying your hair instead of air drying to cause less shrinkage. If you’re still experiencing the shrinkage you can explore stretching methods. Shrinkage means your hair is healthy girlll!!🥰🥰 Wishing you luck on your trials and hopefully less errors

The only tutorial I've seen where someone doesn't stretch their hair with heat. I like doing my twists on damp hair because I get done faster lol.

There’s many benefits to fully drying your hair instead of air drying. That’s why I prefer the blow dryer or sitting underneath a hooded dryer

Heyy Victoria! I’m confused by your question
After you complete a twist at the top of your head, put a duck bill clip (the small silver clips often used for re-twisting locs) at the root of the twist until the hair is completely dry so the hair sets in place. You’ll have less puffing.
On a previous video you mentioned that we could request hair videos, and I’d really appreciate it if you made a tutorial on how to get heatless curls with hair rollers!

The clarity hair bath is VERY VERY STRIPPING it’s a clarifying shampoo it’s to be used once a month or more they sent you the wrong products you need the hydrating hair bath

It’s does depend on your hair density, but you can always feel free to add hair if you want🤍

you should never brush your hair when shampooing!! Rinse the shampoo then condition then detangle!

And that was only some of the Ten Commandments. So we have all sinned against God and we therefore deserve death (Romans 3:23 & 6:23). And as a result, none of us are “good.” In other words, let’s say that I was speeding on the road, and now i’m in court. And according to the judge, I am to be sentenced to time in jail. But, if someone comes into that courtroom and pays my speeding fine, I can walk out of that courtroom without having to serve the time in jail.
Likewise, we are all criminals through sin, and we deserve Hell. Yet Christ took the horrible punishment that we deserved, put it upon Himself, and “payed our fine” through His death (on the cross) and resurrection. Now through REPENTANCE, which is a change of mind about sin (in other words: having genuine “sorrow” over your sin and understanding your need of a Savior), and by FAITH in CHRIST we can be saved.
So, it’s NOT by our “good deeds” that we are saved, (as Catholics and other religions say) because none of us are good, nor can our “good deeds” make us good. Instead, we are saved solely by God’s Grace through our Faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9) And once you are Saved, you do not continue to live following the evil ways of sin, but you instead live following the righteous ways of Christ.
