- Hey Y'all! Welcome or welcome back to my channel!! I'm sharing how I make my twist last for about a week (most of the time more) and how I maintain them. As y'all know by now this is my favorite style to do and it doesn't take much for me to upkeep. Let's get into this routine!

hey ash! i’m glad you shared this. i often ignore my twists for a full two weeks, but that's not good. have you faced damage? i'm dealing with shedding and breakage despite doing twists every wash day to slow the hairfall. what products do you suggest to help?

I have decided a month ago I have enough and cut my hair shoulder length it's now suitable and easy to work on my next wash day I will definitely do twists but I have no products yet. But it's a must you are my inspiration to try out. 🎉🎉😊

It’s a really old bandana that I cut up😅 It’s my favorite thing to use to tie up my hair!

How do you minimize single strand knots & split ends with your twists rubbing on your shoulder all the time?
How long does it take to install the mini twists and how long does it take to take them down?

Would you still suggest using the Aunt Jackie's frizz patrol mousse? The camille rose mousse scent is too strong for me.

Maybe you can look into headwraps or turbans to protect your hair and feel safe when in the city.

So can you get this wet? Like if you go in the shower with twists and no shower cap will it unravel? Can you swim with these? If it doesn’t unravel can u apply shampoo and conditioner to the twists? If you get it wet in the shower will it be frizzy once you leave the shower and dry? Please someone answer. Nobody talks about this
No one talks about this because it can’t get wet. Once curly hair gets wet after styling, it automatically reverts to it’s natural pattern

Hi! I usually use a mousse/foam for my twists :) I like to try different ones from different brands
What type of eye patches were those?
They’re from topicals!
How can I get my twists to be like yours? I twist my hair and a day after it’s a mess 😂 it doesn’t look right, maybe it’s the products I’m using…
You can try using different products if that may be the problem! If you’re referring to the thickness/density, you can try adding hair for that fuller look
When I do twist the roots come out so they don’t last long😅
You can try braiding at the roots first if that helps!

You can try, but the maintenance may look a bit different. You want to make sure that your hair isn’t locking in the process. It’s still possible for 4C hair
