Awesome work, have been waiting for a decent set of animations for a very long time. Would be good if there was some one handed swing animations included though.
As a practitioner of historical European longsword techniques, I have to say these animations--although designed to be used for the context of Japanese swordsmanship, many are surprisingly suitable for longswords as well (other than the 90 degree vertical overhead strikes, which are always at an angle in German and Italian traditions), especially when most of the cuts are performed with a passing step. Good job.
Great work! Would love to see your attempt at Claire/Leon animations from Resident Evil 2 Remake. Would love TPS animations from someone of your skill level and thoroughness.
Awesome asset pack as usual. Any chance for a crossbow or old staff wizard pack? Also, jogging animations in each pack would be nice for dark souls like games with characters that jog instead of run. Edit: To clarify, I mean jogging animations with the weapon equipped in hand. I see now that common jogging is included.
I wish all animators on the marketplace would take a page from your book. I've bought all your packs thus far, and I don't even use most of the attacks because I'm making an MMO where root movement is governed by a server. However, locomotion is so essential to all games with character movement, and nobody seems to do it like you. You have a solid grasp on 8-direction movement principles and all your animations seem to be consistent in look, style, and timing. Most other animators seem to have these really odd inconsistencies where one sprint movement set is on a completely different time schedule than all their others. That forced me to do all kinds of unique animation timing scripts to compensate for that, but you seem to have a solid formula that never requires that; some animators don't even do 8-direction movement which leads to me not even purchasing their packs.
In UE4, how to use Socket to realize the animation of retracting the knife like in your animation, I don’t seem to be able to insert the knife into Cambridge as accurately as in your animation in ue4
