- This tutorial is a notebook project, based on my most popular video. With over 265,000 views so far on the original speed-paint, I know this tutorial is something that so many of you have been asking for! (Note: If you want to speed up the video or slow it down, you can do so in the video settings.)

I used a black notebook for this project, but you can paint on any color you want as long as you coordinate the paint colors you use on it. I do not recommend painting a base coat on any notebook. When your notebook project is completed and fully dry, I recommend using a brush-on varnish or Mod Podge to seal and protect your work.
Obviously you can paint this design on anything--it doesn't have to be a notebook! It would be beautiful on canvas, or even on the back of a jean jacket. Also, I've listed the colors I used, but use your imagination and feel free to use something different!
Supplies Needed:
• Black notebook
• DIY Mandala Stones dotting tools (1-28 FULL set) (I used: www.amazon.com/Mandala-Dottin...)
• Wood toothpick
• Nail stylus tools
• DecoArt Americana Acrylic paints in the colors of your choice. I used: Light Sage, Warm White, Splendid Gold, Petal Pink, Razzle Berry, and Mulberry. Top dots, I used: DecoArt Pink Tourmaline Metallic, and FolkArt Plum Flash and Orchid Flash Color Shift paints.
(Colors in order: Light Sage, Warm White, Splendid Gold, Petal Pink, Light Sage, Razzle Berry, Light Sage, Splendid Gold, Mulberry, Warm White, Mulberry, Razzle Berry, Petal Pink, Light Sage, Warm White, Splendid Gold.)
• Paint palette or paint cups
• Cotton swabs & cup of water
• Sealer (spray is preferable to liquid since liquid could warp the cardboard cover)
• Lazy Susan with non-slip grip pad
🌺 THE STENCIL 🌺
I used a stencil and a chalk marker, but you can also go with no stencil at all, just making your best guess based on how it looks compared to the tutorial video. By following along with the tutorial, you can make a good guess as to where the dots should go in relation to the surrounding dots.
Thank you for watching!

Where have you been all my life?? I absolutely 💯 ♥️ your videos!!!! Thank you for the inspiration!!!!
I checked your FB page and realized there are more of your Mandala artworks than you put on RUclips. I would love to see you create RUclips tutorial on mugs and tumblers some days. They are so gorgeous!
You are probably busy but I just can't wait to see more of your RUclips videos. Your videos are like a relaxation therapist 😇
This tutorial is the best I’ve seen! Time lapse is cool, but also having some real time video is especially helpful for a beginner, like myself. Thank you for all this good information about paints, tools, everything. I appreciate your artistry very much!
Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it. (Also, you can slow down time-lapse videos by adjusting the playback speed in the video settings.)
@@LLCreativeStudios thank you! I did not know that. 😃
I appreciate your precision. The results are well worth it.
Love these colors!!
Absolutely stunning ❤
O that's just Gorgeous!!! I love it!!! 💖💖💖
Beautiful design! I can’t wait to try it. And the tutorial is done so clearly and well. Thank you! ♥️
If I could make a suggestion, it would be nice if you put the colours as they are used. I couldn’t tell the light colours apart. ♥️

Beautiful
So pretty
Hermosa!👏👏👏👏❤
I was so excited to see a tutorial for this piece! I love it! I have the same notebooks. HOW do you get your dots to stay plump and not wrinkly? My dots look flat and yucky around the edges. THANKS for sharing your amazing work!
Lovely work! How do you seal the paint on the notebook?
Do u spray it with anything
Very nice
When should you erase with swab immediately after the work or after drying
The paint has to be completely dry or the water will smear it. I usually wait a few hours.
Hola!Los números de los marcapuntos significan mm?
Wonderful !💛💛💛
Thank you! :)
Lindo trabalho, Parabéns! a sua paciência é fundamental, ADOREI! O Q VOCÊ PASSA PARA LIMPAR?!
Thank you :)
beautiful. Did you seal the finished painting with varnish of any sort?
Hi, thank you for watching. You can find all the details for this project by reading the video description, found below the video.
Amei 😍
Thank you :)
Beautiful from
Where we will get the tools and stencils ? Please reply
Hopefully you were able to find the video description with all the details?
Lovely. Did you use a chalk marker? I have tried it before but there are still marks on my canvas even after erasing the lines with a damp cloth.
@@LLCreativeStudios Same here. Thanks for responding. I’ve used liquid chalk in a number of projects, including a varnished background. Even after erasing the lines with a damp qtip, I still get faint lines on my canvas, not really visible but still discernible of you tilt your canvas towards the light. Is that the case with you?
@@LLCreativeStudios Thanks!
Gorgeous. Do you seal these?
Hi, make sure to check out the video description where I list the supplies. I use ModPodge but you can also use a spray sealant. :)
Sorry, all the info was just there... thank you.
What do you call this stencil?
I've seen them called mandala stencils or segment stencils.
How did you remove those grid lines?
I show the entire process in the video, but you remove the chalk lines with a damp cotton swab. They work great!
That’s beautiful. I wish I could stick to the guidelines 😢
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hola! Cuántos centímetros hay entre cada círculo? Gracias!
@@LLCreativeStudios hola. Me refiero a los círculos marcados con la plantilla, que sirven de guía. Porque me parece a simple vista que entre ellos hay una misma distancia. Gracias y disculpa si no te entendí
@@LLCreativeStudios Gracias!!! Saludos desde Argentina. Eres mí inspiración. Ya hice algunos tus proyectos.🤩🤩🤩
Bellissimo!!! Posso sapere le misure?? Grazie!!🙏❤
