A few questions - Are you just making a decorative piece or are you intending to use it functionally as a coffee mug? If you are using it functionally, and seeing that the paints which are not food intended are below the rim, how does the paint hold up to washings (assuming you are just rinsing the painted areas only)? Are you putting any fixing agents over the paints to lessen or reducing the likelihood of scratching the paints?

She's using enamels so you bake them onto the mug and they become one also safe to wash but I wouldn't dishwash or scrub hard when handwashing
