Beautiful! I tried a little on canvas just to get the idea. It didn’t go too well but I quickly saw what I was doing wrong. Hoping to do an old wine bottle soon. Thank you so much for this demo!!

Lydia, I really appreciate you and the time you took to make this video. Sending you a big and hearty THANK YOU! I have been looking for AGES for some type of tutorial to learn how to do dot mandala painting, on a bottle, no less! Been saving up all those unusual shaped bottles! I’ve watched your video many times, studied your design, gathered all my supplies and gave it a stab yesterday. I think in time, the bottles will look lovely, even gift worthy, but for now I need to work on spacing with consistency. You are wonderful!

Beautiful! I love doing dot art painting! I do rock painting and enjoy doing it and giving the rocks away to friends and family. I put short inspirational quotes on the back and seal them with a spray clear coat so they can go inside or outside and not lose the paint. Once you start doing dot art, you can't stop! I find it highly therapeutic.

This was just the project I was looking for! your explanation was clear and your demonstration was very well done. But I especially liked it when you said “it doesn’t need to be perfect “ or “If the dots accidentally touch, it’s no big deal”

Hello all just a little idea...i know we can't go out to get paint so easy anymore ...but in food stores lots of them sell eye shadow water paint and chalk or colored pencils...and white glue...and I've found out that any one of them scraped to a powder and added to white glue makes some pretty colored" paint" lock down can help teach you how to be inventive when you can't find what you need to craft... and glitter eye shadow makes one of the prettiest paints
