This is watch is so interesting to look at. Yes, it´s monotone on one side but somehow there is harmony all over this watch on the other side. It is like a song you didn´t like when you first listened to, but when you keep listening this song, you will notice there is something special about it what catches you. It´s the same with this Seiko re-issue.
Calling it a timer doesn't then make the gmt function to be used as a timing device rather than to record another time zone, hence the 24 hour bezel. Plus also being used to navigate.

I think without the dia-shield coating and it´s color tone that comes with it, it wouldn´t look so unique.
It's a real beauty, but expensive.
