Global Treasure. I am mexican, with french ancestors. I lived an studied in Paris. My sister lives in Amsterdam. Wherever you look in the world, you'll find Elvis❤is known and loved there.
On his tombstone his father had inscribed "He was a precious gift from God. We loved and cherished dearly. He had a God given talent that he shared with the world. "
I believe this man could stand on his head and sing this good. He almost did when he bent almost backwards to the floor and never missed a note. How does it do it? He can't even explain it.!!! LOL!!! That's why HE IS UNMATCHED!!!
God made Elvis gave him his gifts, Elvis shared his gifts to the world as well as his caring and giving to others, So help your brother along the way, no matter where he starts, for the same god that made you made him to these men with broken hearts, The Icon, The Legend, The Untouchable The King of music. Elvis Aaron Presley. Greatest of all time. 1935--Till the end of time,
the only word to describe him is easy , Elvis . i remember watching this in 1968 and was lucky enough that we had a large color television and all during the show i was freaking out and for the rest of the year at school this was all we talked about and we were so confused because we were torn between Elvis and The Beatles but i feel so lucky to have grown up back then and remember from 1960 to 1969 going to the movies to see every Elvis movie and once a year i have an Elvis Fest and watch all 33 movies and it warms my heart to see a young lady like yourself being a fan of The King
I saw him twice in concert, and he was so beautiful and talented, my husband had to admit it. In shows when he does" love me tender", he will kiss girls at the edge of the stage, I wanted to go up so bad, but my husband was there,. darn. Thanks hon, you rock with your reactions.
Elvis was an amazing singer and very talented musician….stage presence rarely matched…so sad we lost him way too soon 🙏🏻❤️☮️ ..Amazing reaction from you Mia….and Loved that you shared the ELVIS calendar 🙏🏻❤️
It's so great to see young people experience for the first time what I've been loving and listening to for as long as I can remember. I was 7 when he died, but my earliest Elvis memory is watching the Elvis In Concert 1977 TV show.
Hi Mia! 😃 I KNEW you would love it!! If you really want to see Elvis in the black suit, you REALLY need to check out Trying to get to you! That's the one that I suggested. You will REALLY love that one!😃
Great reaction, really enjoyed it. I once remember a pretty girl enthusing over me like you did Elvis here, problem was she had drunk 2 bottles of wine, and didn't remember a thing or wanted to when sober 😊😊
Another fantastic Elvis reaction Mia!! I like this song , and the man was certainly Charismatic. You're looking great and I love your background!! What a beautiful gift the calendar was , some great photos in it .Thank you for another great one Mia!!
Elvis had such a state of nerves that he told Producer Steve Binder at the last minute that he wasn't going out; Binder said i don't care if you walk out, just say hello & walk off, but you're going out; & so Elvis walked out & we all know now how it went for him. Thank you for this version -- i'm always suggesting this one, while many people prefer the '57 version from his film of the same name -- but more & more people are beginning to say they think this is better.
Whats up Miaaaa? Haven't been here in a while but you know I will always come back when you do an Elvis reaction. LOL. This actually isn't one of my fav Elvis songs but the performance here was top notch. I recommend you start checking out some of his songs from his 73 Aloha from Hawaii. It's something to see. You Gave Me A Mountain is one that is a great one.
...if it's more Elvis...then, I'm onboard! I happened to be in the dispatch office of the Memphis Fire Dept on 8/16/1977...the guy working the phones with me got a call from Graceland, requesting an ambulance stat. within about an hour to two hrs, we were getting calls from around the world wanting the particulars...very sad day for Memphis, and a good portion of the globe!
Your reaction is so natural and spontaneous. Since 1953 when he was 18 years old , Elvis has been having this effect on people, starting with those in Memphis, to those in Tennessee , to to those in the USA. to those in Europe, Australia,Japan , Africa and every other place on the planet👌💕🕺
Thanks for reaction to Jailhouse Rock. It's very hard to surpass him isn't it. The great thing is with him. He is never the same Al the time. He's always different.
I'll give you a little background on this. When Elvis first started, like you seen him before on Ed Sullivan or whatever, he was pretty huge, and at that time he made what I consider to be his best movies, the ones in black and white, Love me tender, jailhouse Rock, King Creole, but then he got drafted into the army in like 1958, he was able to go into the studio and make a couple of albums at that was it. And when he got out of the army around and I think it's 62-63, he found that his manager Colonel Tom Parker, had signed a contract at MGM forever should do a string of these cheesy let's just make a Buck movies. Girls girls girls, clambake, kid Galahad. Where the actual story the movie wasn't the point, they were just vehicles to get to where Elvis can sing. Well around 67, Elvis finally got out of the contract, and was itching to get back out on stage in front of a live crowd again. And so to announce that Elvis was going back to live performance again, they decided to have a TV show. And like all variety shows back in the 60s, they just had Elvis on stage doing some comedy acts, and some choreographed routines of a couple of his songs. One night after they got done with a rehearsal, someone happened to walk by Elvis's dressing room, and heard singing, it was Elvis and his two buddies, Scotty Moore and Bill Black, the two guys that toured with that was originally, they were just joking around and jamming on songs. The guy said" wow that sounds awesome! Better than what you're doing on stage! Wish we could get THAT on camera!" And then the light bulb came on over their heads, why not?! You surely decided to add on at the end where they had a little stage and just an intimate audience of like 25-30 people, and just the three of them Elvis, Scotty Moore, and Bill Black, they might have had just a bare idea of what songs they were going to do, but that was it. Just get on there and jam and joke around and have fun, and the rest is history. So you really need to check out where he is just sitting down with the other two, and they are just jammin, trying to get to you, is a good song to see that.
His 68 Comeback Special, after make 31 Hollywood movies, was definitely Special. Frustrated & bored with being typecast in those movies, Elvis wanted to get back into what he loved most, & that was live performances. This was a televised performance, & every song is so great. This song is out of one of his early movies, & there is a cool Jailhouse Rock (Music Video) taken out of that movie, showing a young Elvis dancing. Michael Jackson actually took some of his dance movements off Elvis’ dancing. It would be great if you did a Reaction on Jailhouse Rock (Music Video) as its a fun video to watch. Great Reaction by the way.
Loved your reaction! 😀 Elvis HAS affect on women. 2 other Elvis suggestions, Trying to get to you from his 68 comeback special, of course, and Suspicious minds live in 1970! You will love both I guarantee it!😀
Do Elvis (Always do his Live Videos) -Never Been To Spain -You Gave Me A Mountain -Caroline -You Lost That Love And Feeling -Pieces Of My Life (photograph video) -Polk Salad Annie -Bridge Over Troubled Water -Why Me Lord -Amazing Grace -Just Pretend (In Vegas) -Love Me Tender (In Vegas) -Trying To Get To You (68 Special) -One Night Wifh You (68 Special)
I'm sorry that your generation knows nothing about pop music prior to year 2000. Hip-Hop & Rap Music singers (& their songs) - will be totally forgotten by future generations. I'm glad you discovered the talents of Elvis.
I grew up in the later Elvis era. Understandably most women, young or old, fell for his charisma. I get it. The dude oozed personality, sincerity and talent. He had an unique appeal to men but context is important. He was masculine yet not machismo at a time when actors like John Wayne and Charlton Heston ruled. Guys who killed Indians on screen or trashed minorities or "non-believers" off screen. Elvis had a way to bridge that contrast. I think that's why he appealed to a lot of guys. In may old LV videos there are men who come forward wanting to shake his hand.
this performance is indeed more powerful and ferocious than the original recorded version. (the black leather outfit mya have been inspired by jim morrison of the doors.)
WRONG IT WAS NOT JIM MORRISON ..... AS HE FOLLOWED ELVIS ...... NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND ..... AS ALL THE REST DO TOO ..... Elvis Presley is famous for his velvety voice, his hip-shaking dance moves, his charisma, and his outrageous lifestyle. He's equally famous for his iconic, instantly recognizable outfits, particularly from the late 1960s until his death in 1977. The black leather suit worn for his 1968 comeback special. The velveteen suit he wore when he was invited to the White House by then-president Richard Nixon. The spangled jumpsuits he wore onstage, including the Peacock and the Aloha Eagle. All of these outfits and more were designed by one man. BILL BELEW ..... BEFORE YOU SEND OUT RUMORS ...... OPINIONS AND HEAR-SAY ..... AND GARBAGE ..... DO YOUR FACT CHECKING FIRST ......
Every time a woman reacts to Elvis they always fix their hair like he’s looking at them. Haha! Hey… I’m a straight dude and I get it! 😂 You have to checkout “Trying to Get to You” from this special.
Elvis recorded exactly 769 songs ...... Find the kind of musical sound you like out of them ...... WARNING ...... WARNING ..... WARNING ...... WARNING ...... BUT IF YOU DO THIS ...... PLEASE DON'T BLAME ME FOR YOUR COMPLETELY FALLING IN LOVE WITH HIM AND HIS MUSIC ..... AND BECOME ONE OF HIS BIGGEST FANS ..... JUST SAYIN ...... ELVIS IS ONE IN TIME ..... A GOD GIVEN TALENT ..... TOP TO BOTTOM ....... NO BRAG ..... JUST FACT ......
