Thank guys I saw this at the movies, I am 80, and the girls actually stood up in the theater and screamed when he came on. He was earth shattering in the 50's. He was banned and maligned by teachers, preachers and parents. See the challenges he had in the 50's especially being an advocate for black music. "Elvis Presley and the Black Community". Back then it was a racist time, white stations would not play black music till Elvis changed that. thanks for your always great reactions to Elvis. be Blessed
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS❤️ Elvis inspires you to be a better human being❤️ You bring me and other Elvisfans a lot of Joy and Love❤️ Welcome to the Elvisfamily..It is filled with LOVE and FUN❤️😉
Yes, this is from the film Jailhouse rock. His third movie. before the army. So he done love me tender, loving you, jailhouse rock and King Creole. Then the army. And while he was in the army, his mother passed away. One sad thing his co star in this film, Judy Tyler. She got killed in a Car accident. just after making the film. and Elvis refused to watch the film.
COMEDIAN JAY LENO said that Elvis Presley is THEE - ONLY ACTOR IN HISTORY- to - NEVER - MAKE A MOVIE THAT LOST MONEY AT THE BOX OFFICE. Elvis made 31 feature films, and was also the highest paid actor in the world during the late 1950's/early 1960's. Elvis' manager said that not even Oscar winning actors from that time, can say either of those things. React to his VERY well liked movie duets with Ann Margaret in their 1964 movie "Viva Las Vegas". Namely, "The lady loves me" - and - "C'mon Everybody". Enjoy!
MJ and Feddy M (big fan of Elvis) both got moves from Elvis. No critisism, everyone can take, change, borrow from others. Elvis was also influenced by many artists, like Jackie Wilson and Dean Martin among others. It is what you do with it and evolve on it that matters .
Dude, of course those were fake 2-D instruments, we saw that on our B&W TVs in the 70's. They just juiced up the scene a little bit and BTW, those weren't real jail cells either.
America did Elvis wrong! All the negative press, being prosecuted for his music and dancing, forcing him into the military. Then look at the Beatles who the press loved and America welcomed with open arms. What if Elvis got the same love? With all that and taking all that time of for movies he still sold more the double the albums than the Beatles. Just imagine if America embraced and promoted their own!
@@sharonlindseay3980 no America is a country which is govern by a government, which is suppose to implement the will of the people. Americans r the people, the public. America the country, the government went after Elvis, the media pushed the narrative the government wanted. The country forced Elvis into the military, if not he would have been jailed for his on stage performance. If the country gave the same love to Elvis as they did to the Beatles perhaps he never would have been drafted, his music career would have flourished and he possibly would have avoid much of those movies.
A song about gay prison sex. ............ Number 47 said to number three "You're the cutest jailbird I ever did see I sure would be delighted with your company Come on and do the Jailhouse Rock with me"
the original was better. said more about the time, the music, the performer. since 2000, things started being "enhanced" by technology. why not let was be was? everything today is "enhanced". even the "artists" of today are "enhanced" electronically and now, ai is making it worse. just my opinion. what is so wrong with reality that we must modify it? just sayin. it's as if we are unable to make the changes on our own so we gave up and let technology do it. changes nothing! change can only come from us. we, you, me, eveyrbody need to make the change, not technology. afore to long, perhaps we will only breed and raise ai children instead of living breathing humans. what a world, what a world.

Jailhouse Rock from 1957. Good movie and showcased Elvis’ potential as an actor
Elvis was first in many things ...He was even the first to use a stripper pole. ( other than strippers themselves, of course ) in a performance .
Leave it as it Is!
I know all that moves and this is my favourite song
"Jailhouse Rock" is a great movie. A super classic. Let's watch it.

We're still loving him after is being gone for forty years. Don't tell us we didn't love him.
@@sharonlindseay3980 did I say the public? I said America did Elvis wrong perhaps actually read what I wrote instead of being triggered!
America is the public. The people.
