I MUST tell you...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!! I performed what you did in this video, and rehabilitated my old 545, and it prints again!!!!! Took a while to get nozzles to dry out, from the tube injection, but I let it dry for a couple days, and did a couple panel nozzle cleanings and checks, and now she is back up and running. Thanks again. THIS WORKED PEOPLE!!! THIS IS GOOD COMMUNITY CONTENT!!

Hi, how long time did it take to get nozzles to dry out?

    • @ekimviewmaster5010

@@silalesofmar after I did this, I let them dry for a day or so, had to sop up the ink ridden pad, that sits underneath the nozzles when they are in park as well, and it worked good after that, and I just printed up a bunch of Halloween party invites this past weekend. Hope this helps.

Thank you! This fixed my printer nozzles! The damp tissue placed under the printer head worked for me. Really appreciate!! My printer L655 so technique can be used for many printer models! 🎉🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great video helped me bring back my WF-845 from the grave!! I used the syringe to blow air through the print head after each fluid injection, I let the fluid sit for 2 mins each cleaning then used air to remove the left over fluid. Then use only the color you cleaned to print something until the print head is fully primed.

I like a smart guy that has a good solution.
I have an Epson ET2750 printer that has had clogged nozzles for several years and only printed in black. I stopped by my local Walmart and the lady in the pharmacy gave me a small syringe for this project. I had some fuel line laying around that I use to repair gas powered weed eaters.
My system was slightly more complicated than yours. It had main tanks for each color and then 4 tubes than went to smaller color tanks that fed the print nozzles. I removed the color feed hose from each of the individual smaller color tanks and rinsed and cleaned them as you described. I reattached all of the hoses and reinstalled the small tanks directly above the print nozzles. I had to run the nozzle cleaning operation about 6 or so times to get the print test page to print properly due to completely emptying the smaller color tanks . Tried it on a color photo that I was trying to print and found out one amazing thing. YOU ARE THE MAN!!!
Many thanks for sharing your knowledge and providing a GREAT SOLUTION for a common problem.

thank you! i did not have tubing but i found an old syringe from my dog's prior medication that just so happened to fit over the nozzle. i also somehow had no windex, but i did have 99% isopropyl alcohol. May not be great long term for the printer? but it got the job done for tonight when i needed it the most!
before i found the syringe, i got the other colors working with just dripping tiny amounts onto the nozzle and using the moistened paper towel underneath.
black was just not budging, but the syringe got it done! it did not want to move, but i drew back on the syringe which sucked a lot of ink out, and that got it going.

HaHaHa like others said below I had one colour not working now after performing the clean on all colours the other three aren't working either. I have exactly the same machine as in the video a Workforce 633.
It appears some machines have trouble priming the PRINT HEAD after cleaning. To reprime you have to do a HEAD CLEAN follow the screen prompts on your machine, Menu, Set Up, Maintenance, Head Cleaning. After this do the Nozzle Check to see if you have missing lines in the picture printed. Do this process no more than 3 times - if it doesn’t work leave it a day and try again. Priming the PRINT HEAD uses a lot of ink. With my printer it took two days before it worked - I think it’s a combination of letting the head dry out after cleaning and letting any air bubbles come out. Maybe don’t tip cartridges upside down after removing when you flush the head - put them the right way up in a disposable container the valve in the cartridge should stop ink coming out. Good Luck

This usually works and has already for CM&Y but not K. I've run a couple ounces at least of isopropyl alcohol through to some paper towel underneath and it's still not printing but showing full ink on a new cartridge. Sounds like the printhead dead no?

I was in the same situation with my wf 645, except I moved the print head while plugged in. I forgot that golden rule.
I took everything apart and cleaned it, but when i turn the printer on it just gives me a "printer error " message and will not move unless it's manually.
Any suggestions? Yes, i was careful in removing and inserting the ribbon cables. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hello! I did this and now when I print, no ink comes out. I tried blowing air through the lines but still not getting anything. Also tired the printers built-in head cleaning but still no ink coming out on paper. Any ideas how I can get this working again? Oh, I also tried telling the printer I was changing cartridges and taking all the cartridges out and putting them back in.

Scratch this post. I did the head cleaning and nozzle check a few times, eventually started seeing ink again. Did it several times more and now I'm back to printing! Guessing air was in the line or something? Thanks for the pro-tip on manually cleaning these printers. Worked on my workforce 630.

I can only think that the ink cartridges have dried up. Do you have at least one new ink cartridge to see if anything changes after replacement? I apologize for delayed response.

I had the same problem but kept performing a nozzle check and head cleaning until the ink started to flow again. It’s now working beautifully and this video saved my printer from ending up in the landfill. Thank you so much!!!
