  • NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - South Carolina put a third inmate to death in four months Friday as it goes through a backlog of prisoners who exhausted their appeals while the state couldn’t find lethal injection drugs.
    Marion Bowman Jr., 44, was put to death by lethal injection. Parishioners and advocates against the death penalty gathered at The Cokesbury United Methodist Church in a vigil for Bowman.
