The "Death Penalty" was/is supposed to be a "Deterrent to Unaliving" someone. In my opinion.

Zero-witness-execution would be problematic for those who are impacted by the actions of the person being executed. I can think of a lot of other reasons why but who actually reads comments that are lengthy?

She owed Him Money and He decided to Kill Her. She went so Far as to Beg for Her Life saying that she had a son who Needed Her.
He then Put 2 Bullets into Her. He Moved Her Body to the trunk of a Car and then set the Car on Fire. What He did was Most inhuman way to do Anybody. Whtever she did She didn't Deserve that. I Don't Care Much for the death Penalty But if a Case Ever Called for it My God This Case did!!!!

The problem with the death penalty is two-fold. A)too often innocent persons are convicted & B)the same crime does not always get the same penalty

As he claims he was given. Because he couldn't prove he wasn't involved. And everyone should have been charged with the same crime. That's literally the legal definition of felony murder. The men who wrote the ban on cruel and unusual punishment found in the Constitution did not ban capital punishment. They used the gallows and the firing squad. As such, it is *obvious* that neither the gallows nor the firing squad were deemed "cruel and unusual".
Given that rape, murder, child abduction, and child molestation still occur, there is no valid argument that society has "become more civilized and advanced". Human nature has not changed.
