Guilty in 2001 and sentence carried out 2025, totally disgusting. A total waste of taxpayers $ to have justice take so many years. The victims should have had that many more years to have lived.

@@scrappersdreamIt’s crazy to think back then you could be tried, convicted and sentenced to be hung (all in the same day too) within a matter of hours.
While I get why they longer conduct death sentences in that manner, a better timing system needs to be figured out if states are going to continue with capital punishment.
If there’s a chance that a death row prisoner is innocent, I understand their reasoning for appealing.
But to the people who outright admit guilt or the evidence proves they did it without a doubt … thirty days max.

Political parties and vote's attribute to the 'death' or 'lack thereof' prisoners sentenced to the death sentence's being carried out. Who is looking to be 'ELECTED/Re-ELECTED" on the voting ballot is a major factor, along with an almost seemingly endless appellant process.

Not sure about the DP, but if the state gave a DP, 25 years seems too long to be effective?? You gave hope to his family, dispair to her family. However, if after 25 yrs? you made the family of the victim guilty. States with DP, do it or don't.
