    Instead of manually calculating 5/8, you can input “5/8” and fusion360 will do the math for you. It can add and subtract too. Great video 👍🏽

    Hey Dave, thank you for another awesome video.
    Keep them coming, I always learn something new from your videos!!!
    Question, you always select FRONT when catching.... I thought that the system cuts from the Top Down, this actually gave me some troubles in the beginning when I started watching your videos, once I started scratching from top I was able to generate G code with no problems.

    I’m having a problem when I get to the geometry section my box isn’t the same as yours and it won’t let me select the body of the part for the cut path. I can manually select on each one but when I run the simulation it only cuts the outside of the part. I’m using the free version.

      Trying to understand your problem...my first stab be to make you have your part oriented on the X and Y axis. if you do not, i will not let you select the plane you want to cut.

      If that is the issue, you can reorient your body to the correct plane using the align function. usually with hot key a.
