"Simbalizes something " 😂
🤣🤣
Simba-lions? *cue rimshot*
haha good one😂
😂😂
Great pun👍
Mufasa is explaining that as a leader, you have know how to maintain the delicate balance between prey and predator. Also, you must never abuse your power over the weaker animals.
Exactly. Something Scar didn't understand, which lead to his failings as a ruler.
@@Whineanddine52 and destruction of the pride lands.
Kinda easy for Mufasa to say as he and the other lions eat the other animals
@@chuumon95 😅You're human, right?
@@athenstar10
Exactly, how do you explain to the animal you are about to eat the importance of you having to eat it and it’s kind?
The craziest “hear me out” of the whole channel 😂😂😂😂
Nah but fr hear us out 😭😭
3 grown men reacting to 38:52 like blushing 13-year olds😂
I was too young back then to realize that look. This is possibly the most "adult" thing a female lead character did in a Disney animation, complimented by the music.😅
All men are 13 yo boys 😂
As "CinemaSins" called it, 'Do me eyes' 😂
Y'all reaction to the Nala face had me dying. I knew y'all weren't going to let me down😂😂😂😂😂😂
These guys’ reactions to 2D animal ladies is hilarious!
Have you seen them react when you first seen Rain in Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmerian?
@@dgurlie-0273 yes i did 🤣
Sameeee hahahaha I was laughing so bad
38:53 the laugh that I just made was crazy LOL this is the same type of reaction girls had for Simba when he grows up and he sings that first, "It means no worries..." - We don't apologize how feral we were. Disney knew what they were doing.
I swear, Jeremy Irons' performance as Scar has to be one of the best voice performances of all time!
Along with Mark Hamill as The Joker
And with a great villain song.
Dublagem digna de Oscar ❤
Back in the day, I used to think Scar takin' out Mufasa was straight-up unreal. They were supposed to be "brothers," so it seemed impossible for him to cold-bloodily off his big bro and even try to harm his one and only nephew. Little did I know, that's some of the realist shi ever put in a Disney movie. I didn't realize back then that it really could be your own blood, your day 1, who could hurt you the most! Man, I miss them days of bein' so naive, lmao!😂
Scar got jealous
@@estelalopez3563Lions also do that all the time.
It doesn't matter how many times I've seen the movie, the scene where Simba finds Mufasa dead in the gorge always gets me in the heart.
OMG dude when he nudges his way under Mufasa's paw and cuddles up with him. 36 years old blubbering like an idiot on my lunch break.
@@christinaify Forever one of the saddest scenes in a Disney movie
You guys pausing when nala gave simba the face at 38:52 has me crying 😭😭😭 Nala was fine asf idc what nobody says 😂😂
I hope you guys watch the part 2 it was good!
We will 😊
Those eyes translate across species and say your intentions towards the boy very clearly.
That's that "pass go and collect 200" look that every man looks for in their lives.
LMAOOOOO I replayed their reaction to her look a good 20 times lolllll
I had a thing for Kovu
If you watch the sequel remember:
•Timon is a meerkat and Pumbaa is a warthog
• This movie is setting in the African savannah
• in the second movie Simba has a daughter named Kiara
• songs for the lion king was written by Elton John
is the lion guard canon or nah
@@sphinx3749 I don’t know
@@connordavis3425 oh. because they tie in the first and second movies' events pretty well in season 2 and beyond.

@@Avileable2 if it is, then thats a W.
Michael doesn’t say a word the whole time but he comes in hot with those high notes! 😂😂
🤣🤣
Fun fact: Jeremy Irons who voiced Scar did not sing all of Be Prepared, he lost his voice at "You won't get a sniff without me!" Jim Cumming had to step in to finish the song. Their voices were so similar that most people don't realize. Jim sings the rest of the song from that line.
Worth it 😎
Scar’s voice takes on a Winnie the Pooh/Tigger esque quality if you listen hard enough 😂 You can hear it is in “s” sounds
I'm almost 40 and I still haven't gotten over Mufasa dying...IT HIT DIFFERENT!!!
The lion king is a 10/10. Please watch the sequel, I gave it an 8/10.
And Lion King 1 1/2
The Lion King is both funny and emotional. It was so dramatic to see Scar killed Musafa, the songs were great and teaching important lessons. Long live the king
🎵🎵🎵🦁🦁🦁😱😱😱🤣🤣🤣
Amazing movie
It's always fun to see someone watch such an iconic film for the first time! It never occured to me that someone might interpret the title as this being Mufasa's story instead of Simba's. For a fun fact: Mufasa is voiced by James Earl Jones, who is also the voice of Darth Vader! He's got the range to be simultaneously known as cinema's best and worst father 😄
In my opinion, Lion King 2 is the best Disney sequel.
The second one always gets so much hate. I enjoyed it as a kid, too.
This is my favorite Disney alongside Lion King 1
I don’t get the hate
Fr the way Kovu had me in a chokehold 😂 that movie could do no wrong in my eyes
Facts!
30:21 This can undoubtedly be one of the most remembered scenes of all the Disney movies, it is beautiful and always makes me smile
“What’s that Shadowind place?” “That’s New Jersey we don’t go there” does anyone else remember this meme? 😂
Scar! is one of the best Disney villains ever... It's a shame that Disney doesn't make villains like him anymore these days... What's more bad, they don't even make villains in their movies anymore... The Lion King is considered to be one of the best films of the Disney Renaissance to give you an idea of how big this was when it came out in 1994 It was considered the highest grossing movie of all time for more than 20 years until Frozen came out in 2013... no other production even come close to beat this movie It was an impact that transcended generations to this day and is still considered a classic that everyone should see... Mufasa's death scene, the soundtrack and great voice actors.. like dark bader himself and the great Jeremy irons They will interact in a movie It's a gem.
who wiil believe that a small group of animators who Disney did not pay attention Because they considered that this movie was going to fail were going to bring glory to the company...
His voice is just goosebumps
@@beyondlondon8600 frollo is definitely the most terrifying and most evil Disney antagonist of all time. They did an amazing job with him. He is so much more original and has so much more to him. And I love that he wasn’t evil because of unoriginal villains that just want power.
Wait, frozen beat the lion king in grossing? I know frozen was big, but I’ve always found it way too over rated and boring and the characters sucked.
@@saklee1777 Yep, the Lion King was the highest-grossing animated film in history for more than 20 years from 1994 to 2013 when Frozen came out and took that position by far, Today it is the third highest-grossing animated film after Super Mario and Frozen 2 I know some people don't dimention it but Frozen was massive When it came out ...and don't get me wrong Frozen is good but I agree with you it is very overrated.
Who else was waiting for the “YEET!!!!” at 2:50 😂😂
The Lion King is basically an adaptation of Hamlet (Uncle as the Villain, Ghostly Visit, Betrayal and Revenge, Themes of Guilt and Regret, Ophelia and Nala, Tragic Endings) :)
The language was Swahili, sung by the great Lebo M. he did a number of songs for this movie, as well as the sequel. and the sound track was so beloved at the time that they create a sequel to the soundtrack, called "Rhythm of the Pridelands", which Lebo M also contributed a number of tracks. He also worked on the soundtrack to the movie "Congo" (another recommended film)
The worst part is, Scar planning to kill Simba (in addition to Mufasa) is actually accurate to real lion behaviour, even if Scar's reasons for doing so aren't. Male lions actually kill cubs that aren't their own, because it brings the females back into heat, allowing the males to mate with them and have cubs of their own.
2:45 Mufasa And Sarabi: “(Individually and nonverbally to Simba) I’m SO proud of you”
Always annoyed Sky Mufasa couldn't have said something like "Remember who you are. You are my son. And the one true king. Also, Scar threw me off the cliff."
That’s not mufasa talking, it’s Rafiki who has hypnotized simba and Simba is living a memory so he can’t conjure some memory he never had
@@lexuslfa4739 the fuk r u on about
It makes sense. When a Lion dies it decomposes back into the ground and becomes the grass, the antilope eats the grass and lions eat the antilope, i'ts not hard to understand.
Its easy to understand but it’s not equivalent to a lion actively killing and eating its prey. Every animal in Pride Rock is in danger of getting eaten except the lions. The only species that actively would hunt and eat a lion is a hyena and the hyena, conveniently, aren’t living in Pride Rock
The death of Mufasa traumatized an entire generation but, to me, this was the best Disney movie of the 90s!
Disney Renaissance era music was the best! 🎶
I still get goosebumps when Simba roars at the end.
40:32 Simba: "You're starting to sound like my father."
Nala: "Good! At least one of us does."
Honest trailers: (Realizes) "-Oh, no!!"
I had a theory that even if Simba ran to the side of the gorge to wait out the stampede the hyenas would have seen him and run down to take him out. It was a lose-lose situation he was put in.
Thank goodness for thorn bushes huh?
Watching the three of you not get how one of the best and despicable Disney villains blatantly gaslit his nephew about his father’s death was probably my FAVORITE THING- 😆
That, the stampede, and the Nala smolder was true gold~
Those that have seen the sequels of every major classic in Disney, could agree that The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, it's a decent one, the continuation is actually pretty interesting; mind you the animation quality drops harder than a rock in a pond, but the story was actually very well thought out, and the musical parts are good as well.
I could say for myself that the third movie is not bad either, it's more comedic that's for sure.
One of the best uses of villain green and the trauma that came with Mufasa‘s death still exists and can make you tear up all over again
Loved this 😂
Hopefully you do watch The Lion King 2 (1998)
= In this movie Simba has a daughter whom we saw as a cub that Rafiki lifted into the air at the end of the first movie.
AND
The Lion King 1 1/2 (2004) 😂
= In this movie we see how Timon met Pumbaa and some bits of them living with Simba till the moment where Simba defeats Scar.
@AkinReacts The reason why the pride lands ( simba home ) became a wasteland is because scar made the lion's and hyenas live in the same territory, meaning that all the other animals had no choice but to leave the pride lands because 2 Apex predators were occupying the same territory and over hunting to provide for both the lions and hyenas. 2 different species of Apex predators aren't ment to live like that because that's what happens, the land becomes to dangerous for all the other animals to live meaning they had to leave, that and it was the dry season which is why there was no water or plants.
The Lion King 1 and 2 have some of the best villain songs from Disney. The sequel is amazing and definitely worth a watch.
been waiting for this ALL WEEK
8:10 Dr.Facilier:Way To Go Scar

Fun Fact: Timon’s line there was completely improvised and the director loved it so he kept it in

@@AkinReacts4 words : watch Lion King 2
Anything less than a 10 is wild 😅 this movie is soo good. Really enjoyed the reaction. Lion King 2 is also really good. I highly recommend it
Can't wait for yall to do the 2nd one!
Scar is my favorite disney villain ever. He has such cunning. Be Prepared is SUCH a banger!!!!!
The circle of life thing Mufasa was explaining does make sense if you think about it. Lions die and become the earth & the grass. Antelopes eat the grass. Lions eat the antelopes. And the loop continues. I don’t think they’re peaceful lions, but they know there should be a balance in nature and without this balance, a beautiful ecosystem can become a dry desert like how it was with Scar
The hyenas had me wheezing the whole time damn they are funny 😂
One of the Greatest Animation cartoons ever made, of all times. Hands down!!!!!
Lion king and spirit on the top!!
8:27 Dr.Facilier and Jafar:Sheesh Judge Frollo:That Was An Interesting Talk
My favorite movie of all times till this day 💛🦁
Y'all reacting to the bedroom eyes from Nala was so funny
You guys should react to the sequel, The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride. It’s amazing.
8:18 Scar Warns Simba To Never go to the elephant graveyard 🥺
This movie is where most kids in America first learned about death. I know it's where I did, at least. And I think it handles that really well.
This movie was the first to show the dead body on camera. And show them mourning it brutal.
24:27 y’all’s reaction 😂 gets me every time
Dr.Facilier and Jafar:Huh?
Judge Frollo:Okay Scar Creeps Me Out
Dr.Facilier and Jafar:Huh? Judge Frollo:Okay Scar Really Creeps Me Out
I’m glad you guys enjoyed the movie! If you guys ever want to watch the second movie I’ll definitely be looking out for that as well!
If you haven't already, I recommend watching lion king 2:Simba's pride! It's really good!
We will 😊
It was so interesting to watch you discover my favorite Disney animation
Let's gooooo! I've been waiting for this for eons 😝😁♥️♥️
Scar is one of the top villains of Disney ❤❤❤❤❤
Everybody remember, Simba and Nala are half-siblings lol. The writers obviously didn't want to make incest a main theme to children, but hey, at least Simba gets to screw his "friend" lol. They're in the same pride, who do y'all think they are to each other?
Yall 3 gotta check out Lion King 2. Its very interesting to see and would love for yall to rate the movie. The first one will always be more emotional and better to me but still one day soon, hope to see you guys react to it because yall reactions are the best! Stay blessed and stay safe!🤲🏽🤲🏽❤❤
One of da best movies of all time
That discussion about hierarchy to the throne just made me want yall to watch Game of Thrones. That might not go with the family friendly vibes on this channel but definitely worth the watch!
"Hear me out" is crazy lol
It's crazy next year, this movie turns 30
53:46
Lions with darker manes are stronger than lions with lighter ones, so scars strength despite the age is reasonable, plus I’m sure he’s fought a couple lions in his time and this is simbas first
my mom told me soon as we finished this movie when I 1st saw it as a kid. To always watch wtf I say, bc you never know who's listening.
Also Nala the realest baddest mofo. That one hyena was sneaking bc the jig was up and soon as Scar Confessed she was the 1st one to run up.
@AkinReacts fun fact hyenas have been known to kill and eat lions that are old, injured, and especially alone. Hyenas are also one of the few mammalian predators to eat their prey alive meaning that scar was actually eaten alive by the hyenas! 😨 making his death one of the most darkest villain deaths in a Disney movie.
It was funny to watch you trying to understand who was singing the first song 😂
"Beyonce?"
"Shakira!"
Nope, the singer was Carmen Twillie, with Lebo M. for the opening vocals in Zulu. 😁
Zira and Scar are very emotional
This is my favorite film. It's so damn emotional and the music from Lebo M and Hans Zimmer is phenomenal. I love the lyric of the background music when Rafiki is teaching Simba that his father is still with him that translates to "Oh spiritual healer, i am troubled. Oh my father, I'm in pain." Makes me choke up
My favorite movie of all time ❤️🦁
Yall reactions are entertaining. Yalls commentary is funny. I would love for yall to do Lion King 2 soon ☺☺ Fun fact: Whoopi Goldberg voiced Shenzi, one of the hyenas
I really recommend you watch Treasure Planet. It is honestly one of the best animated movies out there.
Definitely recommend lion king 2 , it’s not quite as good but the songs are overall better, and definitely check out lion king 1/2 so funny
My favorite Disney movie of all time
I think from some of your comments and questions, you would enjoy Lion King 1 1/2. It’s basically this whole story from the perspective of Timon and Pumba, and it gets pretty wild 😂
I swear you guys are my favorite!!! Never fail to make me laugh🤣
“The oof went to him” 🤣 you guys are ❤
It was touching to see some of you get moved to tears at Mufasa's death. ❤
Watch lion king 2, brother bear, finding dory, toy story 2, and aladdin
Scars song be prepared is one of the best villain songs.
8:18 Scar Warns Simba To not to go to the elephant graveyard 🥺
The bug eating scene always makes me want a bag of gummy worms lol
You should watch the sequel! This is my favorite movie of all the times, but i cant deny the soundtrack from the second one is even BETTER great Tina Turner put some of her magic in it. Will be subscribing to watch more of your stuff and see if you end up watching tlk2
❤❤❤❤❤
'Plant some crops' hahahha, I love it
i love the lion king
When Nala and Simba Saw The Elephant graveyard Scar Wasn't kidding Scar was right The Elephant graveyard is a dreadful place
Fun fact! The original singer for "Be Prepared" blew out his vocal cords when at the part "you won't get a sniff without me!" and they had to bring in someone who sounded similar to finish the song.
The reaction to Nala's bedroom eyes had me dead!
I hope you watch the second lion king, it's not AS good as the first but it's cute.
The language is Swahili
I'm do exited for living king 2. That was so fire. One of the best sequels
Awesome reactions!
This is actually your first time watching Lion King? What was your childhood
16:17 I didn't even catch the shade they threw towards Scar😂😂
