I was quoted nearly $1500 in parts for both mirror assemblies, and $350 per mirror in labor to replace. I purchased two used assemblies from Ebay for $300, and installing myself. Thanks for saving me $2000.
note: $350 to replace the mirror is absolute highway robbery. Took all of 10 minutes to: find the tools i needed, uninstall, and reinstall. I also used a butterknife to pop the interior plastic off. stupid easy.
Thank you for this video. Now i can work on my truck mirrors. I do have one question. My original mirrors do not have signal lights.can i install a upgrade mirrors with signal lights? Do i need to make any adjustments for it to work?
Can heated mirrors with turn signals be substituted for a regular side mirror and what would need to be done to actually use the heater & turn signal? Additional wiring? Thanks @ChadWilliamsFixesAll

@@TheBigmatt1992I was going to get mines fixed at a dealership as well but the prices are crazy. Bought a mirror from Amazon for a little over $100 brand new and it’s an easy install. Saved a bunch of money.
