Very nice install and operational video on these really cool mirrors. I've been drooling for a set of these for my 01 F350 for years. The 99-01 trucks don't have the door controller modules like your year truck does, so I hope my install goes as fast and well as yours did. Thanks for sharing. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya on RUclips PS the link to boost doesn't bring you to the product anymore.
Is there an alternative to using t-taps? Ive heard that they aren't very good. Also, is there a way to use forscan to turn on Lincoln mode to make the mirrors fold whenever I lock the truck?
Great Video! Do you think there could be a way to make the module continuous vs having to type in the code every time or does that actually initialize and cancel out the mirror adjustment function?
I think it has to be done this way to get dual functions out of each button. I have used it for awhile now and it is becoming 2nd nature. I love how non-evasive the install and usage are
My 2017 gmc sierra 1500 has manual side mirrors for some reason is there a way to change them out to row mirrors or do I have to do something different?
I have a 2020 F150, installed the F250 Tow Mirrors. The Outside Temp sensor in the factory mirror is on the drivers side, the temp sensor in the Tow mirrors in the passenger side. After the install my Check Engine Light is ON because it is not sensing the Temp sensor now. Is there a Fix for this?
Does anyone have information on what wiring I’d need to add from an XL model? They are only big glass adjustable. I can figure out the turn signals but what about to adjust and have heated?
Thanks. I’ve read so many reviews and watched some installs on other aftermarket options. I have no regrets with putting these on my truck. They are solid.
Well, checked them all out and dedid we decided to bite the bullet and bought an UPR for the 5.3 with spare o rings and upgraded billet check valve. Let you know how it goes. Thanks for all your videos. Well done!
@@Donslife Awesome. I hope they work as advertised. I live in Michigan and as you well know, it's cold in the winter - ha. So with UPR, you get a large 12 oz can so if I collect condensation, it's one of the largest containers a available. I garage my truck so most of my starts are toasty warm LOL. Thanks again for your videos - so well done and amazingly helpful.
@@Donslife lol apparently, the same audio of that track is used in Hey Bear kids videos too. As soon as I heard it I was looking around for dancing vegetables ruclips.net/video/KPP4Cfupzhs/видео.html
Not worth it in my opinion. Would have been nice to fold in on its own locking the car. Having to do that code every time stepping out could be annoying
They can get up there is price if you add every feature. The cool thing in my opinion is you can add features your truck didn’t come with and/or doesn’t have the wiring for. There are cheaper options but in most cases they are inferior in quality and only fold and extend manually. I can’t imagine having to fold or extend the passenger mirror manually every time. For the truck I’ve installed them on, it was a no brainer. The truck will be on dozens of job sites with a trailer every year and they’ll be worth it. Don’t take my word for it, read the reviews. I acknowledge they aren’t for everyone, but for some (like my business) they are an asset.
I just bought a 2022 xlt and these are already installed from factory as an option, the code does not work to extend and retract the mirror, it can only adjust where it’s facing. What am I doing wrong?
@@joaquincruise3372 If this is a serious question, you have optional factory tow mirrors WITHOUT the power folding and extending option. More commonly found on the higher end models. I believe the "code" is just for this aftermarket mirror.

Awesome wish they had some like these for the 19-22 gm's. The oem are huge and look dumb on our 1500's
I think it would be cool if there was a version of the sport mirror that power extended. You don’t need much to gain some extra rear view.
@@Donslife Exactly 💯
I would wrap those wires in sponge. You will here them vibrating when music is playing
Good tip
Man nice work! I wish you could install my tow mirrors. I have the same pickup
Nice mirrors. You make your installs look so easy lol. I wouldn't want your auto premiums with all the nice vehicles you have.
😂 Where I live premiums aren’t too bad. However I does add up.
Will there automatically fold when u park o would u have to do it manually and do they still break over if u hit something with them??
Very nice mirrors and video. Boost Auto hooking me up as well and getting these mirrors optioned out for my truck

You could splice, solder and heat shrink your connections if you wanted to. BoostAutoParts might be able to answer your Lincoln question

damn the ones that I want are out of stock they dont have the blind spot ones
When are yall gonna have the new style mirrors with power fold for the 11th gen f150’s @boostautoparts

You can build a set from BoostAutoParts, but you might need to add a switch from them or one you find yourself
how are you not gonna show the whole truck after install?

Yes there is. BoostAutoParts has the fix.

@@Donslife Thanks (am going to buy it), is there an install vid or instructions for this harness?
Yes there is on the same screen you look at the item on their site
FOUND THE VIDEO, THANK YOU
What about the puddle lights do those work?
If your existing mirrors had them, then yes the feature can transfer over
I really need these mirrors on my 2013 lariat. Is there a way to make it work?
I’d go to BoostAutoParts and see what the have. Their always developing new products too

I have a 2023 Nissan Titan XD and tow heated, warning, defrost, signal and I think puddle lamp. Does Boost have that one?
I am not sure. Go to their website BoostAutoParts.com and search for Nissan Titan products
Can u share the link to buy power folding black box?

Hey Don, not to hijack this thread but did you ever do a catch can video for your GMC? Thamks Mark

I WAS interested in these, after I spec’d them for my 18’ I decided I’d rather not see than spend $935 on mirrors lol

$1400 up grade … Uffda
Pricey yes but also premium

Completely agree. It's the main reason I'm not going with these, what a hassle.
No volume !
