It’s funny 😆
Baby..baby..baby
"overindulgence is a form of child abuse." Good on him holding the mother accountable
Yeah this is only the second time I've ever heard this and only the first time actually being applied in a clinical context. It was talking about the outcomes as an adult of childhood abuse. And that its shown that an over-appreciated childhood has the same outcomes as an under-appreciated childhood when it comes to learning and developing critical life skills necessary to function as an adult. It has the same disabling result as a child who never had a loving supporting safe home.
I saw this like maybe 10 years ago yet this is the only time I've seen it addressed. Yet its become so much more prevalent in todays society with a whole generation now being effected just through social medias like TikTok. It might not seem related but its the over-appreciated attention and self image from chasing 'likes' and followers and a completely inflated artificial reality and mirror that they're seeing themselves by.
I just can't even imagine raising this embarrassment. She still acts, emotionally, like a 4 or 5 year old.

Her parents have spoiled her over the years. This can’t be a result of 1 years of money showering. She was expecting to get paid for babysitting her lil sister hahahaha she’s not worth that life.

People laughing and saying bad stuff about her nuts ngl, I totally understand where she is coming from. I am not a brat or anything but I am a single child whose both parents have a job, my parents never had time for me, Idk how it feels to go on a picnic with my parents or do some sorta activity with them. I got my first phone at the age of 10 ( i am 17 rn) I was spoiled with money from a young age I was given whatever I needed and some of my wants were fulfilled as well. My parents kinda replaced their love with money when she said her mother never drives her anywhere and that she's always working and never has time for her Ik how it feels and she doesn't even attend school meaning she might not have that many friends.....she might be lonely. I do understand her and why she is behaving like this if my parents were richer like her's I might have turned out just like her but my parents are from an upper-middle-class family so not all of my wishes were fulfilled Ik how to take no as an answer. I think what she actually needs rn is time and love from her mother and her mother should explain her that money doesn't grow on trees, one has to work hard in order to earn it.
@@bijiyalaxmileimapokpam4150 Funny that she has the looks to earn big on Twitch or OnlyFans. Women with looks can earn MILLIONS. That's why you NEVER ever spoil your kids, but instead, make them appreciate and be thankful of what they have. People like her are made.. In her case, it's parenting.
it's not just her. There are millions of Americans who are less financially stable than her parents are that believe in this entitlement. Sad, but true
It's totally normal. A kid born Bangladesh wud feel less entitled than someone born in the US similarly thei girl rightfully feels entitled because of her family wealth.
Well that's what will happen to most kids if you give them too much freedom.
I think she's just terrified of having to look/be/do normal, because she's learnt that privilege=love.
Give her nothing a month. But give her all the love.
This girl is the result of her mom’s terrible parenting. It’s now the mom’s responsibility to dismantle the monster she created, and help her daughter become a vital, hardworking, successful kind human being.

Time to learn where the money come from, and appreciate your parents for once!!!
It could work the opposite where children realized their parents don't have the means to get a decent job so the children who become adults won't be disappointed to start off setting the pace to work early on before they finish school to help out. One thing is to help out but not to be a permanent fixture of working for this family. Later to give up our lives to selfish adults that don't want to work at all. As they say, a family that works together is a happy family but not one that takes advantage and generosity of their children to help out.
The parents have crippled this young woman. It’s abuse. She’s horrible but they created this spoiled monster.
She needed a parent who was home and forming her to be a contributing member of society.

I am NOT excusing or validating her behavior and think she should get a job and learn responsibility. But the whole situation is not only her fault...she is the byproduct of bad parenting.
Thank you.... I think a lot of people missed this. We have a tendency to be nasty about 'spoilt kids' because they can be a pain; but really, most kids try to push the barriers and take liberties at a certain age, and it's up to the parents to put boundaries in place. If they don't you'll get a spoilt or unruly child. And worst thing is, the child will have a lot of social problems as they grow into adulthood. As irritating as people might find this girl, how can we expect her to do the right thing if she hasn't had a the firm parental boundaries?
Not only that but I bet she does not even know on how to sweep the floor
@@TinyMaths whoever missed it didn’t hear dr phil also blame the mom???
Yes very true, my parents taught me the value of money, even when they bought me expensive things i know how hard it is to earn money.
@@basilciccone1679 he did, but Dr. Phil has a bad habit of being overly harsh to the "bad buy" in this case the girl. Like, he knows drilling into her will get better crowd response. He knows she's a kid, she vulnerable and upset, so he pushes her buttons.
The first time i've seen an audience laugh someone that was crying and it was acceptable lol.
It really wasn't
I worked at an A&W rootbeer stand too! Age 13.
They are not laughing with you, they are laughing at you.

Girl: (starts crying)
Dr. Phil: 👁👄👁
That part got me good😂
That's ok- let her cry. This is her mother's doing...indulging her tantrums...instead of parenting and giving her love and actually raising her. Now she has to undo what she's done for the last 16 years and teach her daughter about the world, about self respect, self worth, hard work..and values . Won't be easy, but it will be worth it. If her mother can withstand the emotional part of parenting and regulate her own emotions so that she can be a solid foundation to teach her daughter about being a productive adult🎉❤
The daughter is a whole mood!😂😂😂
Imagine getting everything and having everything you need in life and still say "all she does is work and doesn't do anything for me".
That actually says everything. A daughter needs a present parent, not an expensive car
She probably got traumatized by the word "works" because of how many "mom have to go to work, so you stay with nanny" or "I promise I'll be home before 7" and gets "sorry honey mom has work to do, so I can't get home before 7".
My mom wouldn’t even let me get a tear out if I was crying over something stupid like this. Thank you mom I love tou
I feel like after this is over she will do great good in the world. All it takes is a change of mindset. 🙂
"no, No, NO!! 'crying'"
