Padres will always be a little brother. The giants are the true rival. They are a lot more accomplished. It’s gonna take a lot of trophies to change that.
I always felt that ego when he played for L.A. He clearly didn't fit our clubhouse despite his obvious talent. Even if we didn't already have Seager at the time, I wouldn't want him on my team.
You mean "I'm not Johnny Hustle?" Machado, Tatis and Profar are "me" players and focus on everything but the team and winning the game and championship.
@@leyvajoe And Valenzuela was always a class act. I was there the night Ray Kroc got on the PA and said he'd never seen such stupid ballplaying in his life.
"that absurd payroll they have". Hilarious when Padres fans try to pretend that they didn't try to spend their way into the World Series just as hard as the Dodgers the previous year or two.
I completely agree. The problem with talking $hit and showboating is that it creates an additional layer of self inflicted pressure. When it’s just about the game it’s simple. Any successes I’ve had as an athlete has come when my team is calm and collected. There is no way, IMO, that it didn’t start getting in their heads that they’re gonna look stupid if they blow this series. Once you have that doubt in your mind, it’s hard to get it out. It didn’t have to be that way. They created this by not acting with humility.
Padres have a great team but are extremely immature. Ta-cheats acting like a child. Profart acting like they threw a grenade at him. Manny "no hustle" manchild showing how despicable he can be. Players and fans puffing their chest as if they're the ish when in reality they haven't won anything. So satisfying how Dodgers completely embarrassed them. Dodgers should have won in 4, madres are lucky they even got to game 5. Stay humble madres.
@Kith0101 lmao, hilarious. When the madres were winning the series, they couldn't stop talking ish. Now that they got humbled, they cry foul. Cry harder lil bro
Love how everyone wants to act like Profar wasn’t specifically taunting by giving the ball to a Dodger fan with a Vesia jersey. Also that prolonged deke of Mookie’s home run steal. You wanna fake someone out for a laugh, fine. That’s cool. But to stretch it out, facing the fans in a derisive smile and keep Mookie in the dark while he’s looking to round the bases or not? That’s just personal against a fellow pro.
I'm a 67 year-old lifelong Padre fan from the Westgate Park days and everything since, and I thought the problems started with the Padres' bush-league celebration of the clinching of a wild card spot - they beat the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium and then they decided to party it up inside Dodger Stadium's visiting clubhouse. I thought it was disrespectful of the Padres to turn the Dodger's visiting clubhouse into a crazed wild party....all for clinching a wildcard spot? I'm not against their desire to party, but they should have just boarded the bus and and come home for a party. You don't do that in Dodger Stadium. Why poke the hornet's nest? Whose idea was that? Why? It was a Bush league move by my favorite team....hard to admit it, but the truth hurts. Immature Padres jinxed it and pissed off LA, when they could have just celebrated two hours later, at Petco.
Dumb take. Every team celebrates wherever they are when they clinch. It’s not spontaneous; they have all the champagne chilled in case and the goggles and plastic all up in the clubhouse. There’s no way you can actually be a Padres fan and make up such nonsense. I call 🧢 and think you’re a Dodgers fan
Got too cocky.. they weren’t that accomplished to be behaving like that. Stay humble, WS predictions by experts got to their heads. We still the little brother until we prove otherwise.
Dodgers are cocky, Padres were emotionally distracted. Besides, bad decision starting Cease AGAIN when it was obvious he couldn't control his emotions or pitches. And losing Musgrove---one of 3 leaders on the team---made a difference in game 4.
@amberbennett8659 don't blame loosing 1 pitcher the reason you lost we have a whole roster of pitchers that can't pitch cause of injury. Padres are just not completely built. We were in your shoes.
I root for the Dodgers (because Nomo and Shohei, and because I watched the Kirk Gibson homer live as a kid), but I respect sportsmanship and professionalism in all sports and all teams, and so Machado and Tatis make it _very_ difficult for me to extend that respect to the Padres. Yes, Darvish had the Dodger bats iced, especially Shohei Ohtani. Yes, Machado was the first leg of an amazing triple play. Yes, Tatis has crushed the baseball in the postseason. And sure, Jack Flaherty probably should know better than to get in a jawing match with Machado. There is no question to me that the Padres are a contender, when everything is clicking together. But come on. Chucking a bullet at the Dodger dugout? Riling up the home team fans so they're throwing stuff on the field? The Padres absolutely know better, and they did that anyway to a team whose approach is, "Don't get mad, use that emotional energy to win the game." And that's exactly what the Dodgers did in games 4 and 5. I'm sure Manny thinks his outbursts are normal and constructive. I say he has problems managing his emotions.
Wait the Padres beat the Doders ass in game 2, but no mention of the Dodgers beating the Padres ass in game 4?? Lol typical Padres fan commentary haha😅
Little brother trying to beat big brother. Big brother just wanna win the World Series. Manny Machado is great leader! He lead the Padres to an early vacation every year.
@ 11:00 you forgot to mention that profar was taunting the fans. He didn’t give the ball to be nice, he wanted a reaction (which he got) but got mad at the reaction. Edit, game 3, many machado definitely ran outside baseline causing the ball to hit him. He shouldn’t be on the grass running from first to second base. He’s such a dirty player.
They were taunting the crowd and bullying them. Machado, Profar and Tatis deserve what they got. Feel bad for the rest of the team. Go Dodgers. WS champs. 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Love this guy solemnly proclaiming that nobody can understand what it’s like facing off in a tense atmosphere against the Dodgers. Allow me to introduce the San Francisco Giants & their fans.
Eh not as bad as before. Yeah 2020 was that bad for clippers but ever since then they have quieted down the last few years. It was just injuries for them and kawhi being kawhi
My biggest What if Scenario would be that San Diego would still have the Chargers and add the Clippers with the Padres. The LA HATE / Rivalry would be insane
Man, you guys are still putting out content on the loss? My mom passed right before Labor day and I don't talk about it nearly as much as you guys talking about losing in the playoffs. Do you guys wanna know what the key to you guys always coming up short of your desires and expectations, not to mention having Juan Soto force you to trade him? It's the culture in the clubhouse. Ya, you guys play with a chip on your shoulder. It makes for good TV with the antics and sound bites from interviews covering the drama on the field and what not. But at some point there's needs to be a guy in the clubhouse that holds everyone accountable and tell certain players to knock certain things the F off. Unfortunately for the Padres, it's Machado in that role, and he's a locker room cancer. He's a great talent, and the team had A LOT of talent. But Manny's attitude is toxic. And you see it with the other players like Tatis and Profar. Talented players, but always playing pissed off and going out of the way to piss off the opposing players and fanbases. Then in interviews they talk like they did nothing wrong? Seriously, the team needs to grow the F up. When Dodger fans threw stuff at Profar z that wasn't the first time this season something like that happened, and not the first fanbase to do so. At some point, it's not the fans, it's you as the individual that is the A-Hole. So ya, you guys have a clubhouse full of very talented players, unfortunately A-Holes are the ones in charge of the locker room and it truly shows after a very long full season where most teams even though they hate their rivals there's still a level of respect they keep instead of constantly stirring the pot . You guys know here I nLA we still see Giants as the arch rivals, right? And as a fan bas we also are well aware everyone else sees us as their arch rivals. Padres teams lead by Tony Gwynn were competitive and had class. This current team is probably way more talented than any of those teams, but lack any class, and the organization seems ok with it. At least you guys got the best weather in all of MLB there.
I think you glossed over the antics of tatis and profar, that’s gonna piss off any fan base. No one should ever throw anything at a player or fan, but don’t diminish the antics of the padres players. And I’m not a “ get off my lawn fan” but tatis’s homer trot is super stupid. He looks like an ass, and he needs to mature. He has incredible talent, but acts like a 5 year old.
There is no accomplishment in San Diego Padres history greater than the Dodgers “Mickey Mouse” WS Championship. The Dodgers went to 3 World Series in 4 years, and that’s in this silly new playoff format era where they allow all these mediocre WC teams to play short series where anyone can win. The idea that the Dodgers never do damage in the postseason is overblown, SD has been in 2 WS in their entire franchise history. If you drive a Camry but make fun of the guy driving a Porsche because you don’t like the color, you’re just jealous.
We here in LA we never say beat SD like the Padres say Beat LA. Why is it personal? We laugh at the Padres and their fans and Dodgers fans fill Padres stadium with Dodgers fans. Thank you Machado for being an AHole you were the 10th dodger on the field.
Great video! This was the year for Padres a lot of people liked the Padres to beat the Dodgers. And with all the Dodger injuries this was their chance to strike. It's gonna be hard to see the Padres have a situation as good as this year in the future against the Dodgers The Dodgers will have a better team next year with their pitching coming back
If you've watched the Padres for years, you know their bats go dead in horrible streaks. It consumed Soto, now Arraez and Merrill. It's lack of leadership to pull them out of it, BoMel and Soto saw the problem which is why they left.
The Padres Celebrate July August Victorys like its game seven of the World Series, they act like they win the division every year. Its pathetic and Bush league . Padthetics haven't won the Division in what... 15 years !?
Agreed. Rather than simply soaking in the Wild Card Series win, there were already chants of "Beat LA" in the stadium and Manny posting about the Dodgers on social media from the field.
I admire Slewa bringing a solid take here, but think it goes beyond taking it too personal. There should have been a pole for Tatis in rightfield, his behavior was disgusting and was deserving of a huge fine from mlb. The Dodgers are too classy an organization to request that, but someone in the league should have had the awareness to pick up on that. Profar is just mimicking his teammates and should have turned and moved back to his position instead of taunting Dodger fans. Manny has been trying to look like a high character player, but in the end his instincts always get the best of him. It’s a shame because ownership has done a great job with this team, but it’s not likely the Padres will go as far as everyone wants them to with this foul core.
Die hard dodgers fan here. Lived in diego 23 years. I totally agree with you on the Padres in the series. I went to almost every padres dodgers battle at petco.every year.. Dodger fans take over petco. Fell bad for padre fan
I agree with a lot of the comments. The Padre players and sometimes the organization can be immature. The crying Kershaw meme, Tatis sticking his tongue out and mimicking tears running down his face on national TV, and Manny throwing a ball in the dugout (whether true or not) and it becoming national news, all immature moves. Dear god Padres, pull your pants up and start acting professional. I remember Manny saying in the past that this isn't high school ball. Well, you all are acting like high schoolers. Keep the main thing the main thing.
I like the Padres. I would support the Padres against any other team. The people in SD should ask themselves why they feel the need to chant "beat LA." The only team they chant against is the Dodgers. Frankly, it's petty. The fans should be bigger than that. Maybe if they get over this, they'll progress.
You're over analyzing. The bottom line is that only Yu Darvish from the Padres starting pitcher pitched well. Cease and King the Dodger hitters figured out. And lets be real, the Padres were somewhat fortunate in that 3rd game as they scored 6 runs in that 2nd inning on freakish and poor defensive plays by the Dodger defense. If not for Machado running out of the baseline heading toward 2nd base, the Padres very well may not have scored in that inning and come away with nothing. From that 2nd inning on, Dodger pitching held the Padres in check. Summary is that through 5 games the Padres outplayed the Dodgers only in game 2. Simply put, the Dodgers gameplan vs Padres pitchers was better than the Padres were against Dodger pitchers, add to that players in that Dodger club house with vast experience who handled the playoff pressure much better.
Profar, Tatis and Machado knew exactly what they were doing. They messed with the bull, then they got the horns. There are dumb fans in every teams base. The key is to be professional and not to mess with them. Padres are too emotional.
I guarantee you if a player from the away team tries to gift a ball to a fan of the home team after taunting(playful or not) said fan at almost any other park, you’d get the same result. Especially in the playoffs. It’s part of baseball fandom
Well...we're about the same age. As a Dodger fan and member of the Submarine Service down at Point Loma, I got to visit Jack Murphy regularly. I could never understand why they hated us. In the end, it just has to be the team that performed the best between the baselines. Good luck and we will definitely see you guys next year.
“Poking the Bear” “waking the Sleeping Giant” all point to the fact that the Dodgers are the better team and the big brother. You know giants and bears can smell fear. 😂 Go Dodgers! 2024 WS Champs!!!
San Diego is not a “baseball town”. 80% of that fanbase started watching baseball in 2019. Once the Madres start losing on a yearly basis, they’ll be back to drawing 18-20 k.😂😂
Because San Diego has been and always will be the little brother. What have they ever won in any sport? The Padres have won nothing. The Chargers won nothing. San Diego State has won nothing. Meanwhile, LA has the Dodgers, the Lakers, the Rams, the Kings, UCLA basketball, USC football, the Olympics x 3, Hollywood, and on and on. Of course they are jealous.
Listen, your take on the Profar and Tatis incident is also bs, on the bullpen I agree it was complete as, but what was Profar's purpose of him handing a baseball to the fan he robed the hr against? Only 1 answer, he wanted to rub it in on his face, I saw the replay on several diferent angles and that fan was nothing but respectful to profar, in fact that fan gestured to Profar, ok you got me man, as Profar was dancing in front of him. Les but Profar wanted to be childish and rub it in that fan's face and that is how the fan and the rest of the fans took it, Tatis was instigating the fans in right field and in the dugout and I'm sure you've seen the clips of it. Don't excuse your players of moments of lack of professionalism that they are supposed to have to every crowd in MLB, just ignore the fans that are yelling against you and acknowledge the fans that are cheering for you. I think that until Profar, Tatis and Machado grow up and show respect to the game SD will not win any titles. You have a great team and just as good as the Dodgers but they underestimated their team collectively and especially their bullpen. Play professionally play as real team, do the little things, and grow up, Profar, Tatis and Machado.
The problem is that the Padres don't have good leaders in that squad unlike the dodgers have really good leadership and role model type of players in our squad that matters alot
The Pads have a chip on their shoulder and rightly so. But when it mattered most, just like the final 3 game series, the Dodgers got laser focus and took the division. Then once the playoffs started, the Dodgers turned it up another level. Starting pitching and bullpen took it personal and it carried LA through the series. Just like when bats get hot, and carry a team, the Dodgers pitchers got hot and carried them. That’s as simple as it gets.
I’m a Dodger fan and love everything about the rivalry. Tatis is a guy you buy tickets to watch. Machado is a great player and the perfect heel, and plays the role with purpose. The teams and fan bases hate each other the right way, with grudging respect. There is one exception… Profar is a jackass. From his hissy fit, when it was his first time playing for the Padres at Dodger Stadium, when he was hit by a pitch that was unquestionably unintentional, right up till now saying the Dodgers pitchers, after 24 scoreless innings to close the series, did nothing and deserve no respect. He had a nice season at a great price for the Padres. Hope they know better than to invest in him long term. He’s not the caliber of player that franchise deserves.
As someone who grew up in LA during middle and high school, then move to the Bay Area for college, I know a little bit of the animosity against LA/So Cal. I noticed it is always the hate again S Cal but never the really the other way around. In a way, So Ca people are just don’t care about others and other places. Some people can that’s confidence and some can legitimately said that’s being ignorant. Someone posted here I think perfectly summed up - “Only Giants and Padres games you hear “”Beat LA”””. Just chat “Let’s go ___.” 😌
Lifelong Dodgers fan here. I'm glad the Padres are finally good! I want to see good baseball games. The NLDS against the Padres was the real test this year, according to the Dodgers players Mookie Betts had on his YT channel. Other fan bases have been chanting "BEAT LA!" off and on since at least the 80s. It's fun! I want the Dodgers to be the team you have to beat. The road to the World Series goes through Los Angeles.
I agree with much of what you said but you might say what Profar did was harmless but it antagonized a lot of fans and it was juvenile and unnecessary. I don't know if the chippyness between the teams threw the Padres off but definitely a tough way to bow out. San Diego would have posed a threat and pushed any team in the post season
As a Dodgers fan, I would agree with most of what you say here. The problem is that the team is built around conflict with Machado and Tatis at the top. With them leading the team, there is always going to be this type of culture. Profar was absolutely a big part of that as well. I wouldn't have a lot of confidence for those players to change their stripes so to speak.
Am a dodger fan all my life and finally somebody tells the truth about the SD padres ,when they play the dodgers during the regular season when they win they act like they won the world series ,padres don't make it personal ,beat them in the playoffs and then talk shit like 2 years ago ,when the padres went 1-1 going to SD they for sure though there done,an bang you know what happen, NJ ow for jjon quimtera I used to listen to him everyday on radio he is the only guy that can talk the truth about the padres ,to bad what happen to him by padre organization ,the other guys on radio in San Diego there just puppets of the San Diego padres,by pure luck I found you on RUclips today ,I'll listen to you guys from now on
A.J. Preller doesn't build a team. He brings in a bunch of hired guns who are playing for themselves instead of championships. He's always changing the parts, but teams that win are ones that the sum is greater than the whole. Players have to know their roles. It all starts at the top, and that includes the GM and manager.
I totally with you and baseball is just a game. The goal is a World Series title. I am a Dodgers fan and know that baseball is live entertainment, but life still goes on.
Thank you for all the comments and listening to the channel...

I always felt that ego when he played for L.A. He clearly didn't fit our clubhouse despite his obvious talent. Even if we didn't already have Seager at the time, I wouldn't want him on my team.
It started with the team owner. Blocking dodgers fans was childish. They set an example for the padres.
The Chargers would only sell tickets to Raider fans only if they bought tickets to multiple games.
Selling tickets by zip codes, wow, no need, the Dodgers is a better team on the road.
@@mcnugs7648 Well I mean, not selling to Raiders fans keeps the crime rate down.
I live in LA and have been a Dodgers fan forever and when we got Machado I hated his attitude and was so happy when he left LA.
Same here! He clearly didn't fit in and I wasn't sad at all to see him go despite his obvious talent on both sides of the ball.
The best off-season acquisition Andrew Friedman ever made was NOT resigning Manny Machado after his short time with the team in 2018.
You mean "I'm not Johnny Hustle?" Machado, Tatis and Profar are "me" players and focus on everything but the team and winning the game and championship.
@@slundgr true that my friend. Padres treated Valenzuela very well when he played there I think in 95.
The guy is obviously bitter and salty but I guess that's expected. You don't anticipate impartiality at all.
Didn't they take out loans to make payroll?
I completely agree. The problem with talking $hit and showboating is that it creates an additional layer of self inflicted pressure. When it’s just about the game it’s simple. Any successes I’ve had as an athlete has come when my team is calm and collected. There is no way, IMO, that it didn’t start getting in their heads that they’re gonna look stupid if they blow this series. Once you have that doubt in your mind, it’s hard to get it out. It didn’t have to be that way. They created this by not acting with humility.
Dodgers 2024 World Champs baby 🏆
Your 2024 WS Champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers!
I can listen to padres players and padres fans cry about this loss all year long
Profar and Machado acted like jackasses and they got their butts kicked by the Dodgers. So glad they lost. Go Dodgers!

I love how he says San Diego has become a phenomenal baseball town. LA has been a phenomenal baseball town since 1958.
They better be. They already lost their nfl and NBA teams to L.A.
Didn't he say sports town? Not sure but if that's the case, having one pro team out of the four sports would make his claim outright foolish.
@@Davud-c2f😂😂😂
Padres have a great team but are extremely immature. Ta-cheats acting like a child. Profart acting like they threw a grenade at him. Manny "no hustle" manchild showing how despicable he can be. Players and fans puffing their chest as if they're the ish when in reality they haven't won anything. So satisfying how Dodgers completely embarrassed them. Dodgers should have won in 4, madres are lucky they even got to game 5. Stay humble madres.
Shouldn't you just move on to the Mets series?
@therewasacrookedman5892 childish i expect this on the playground.
Hey, you stole my line. SD Madres.
💯💯💯💯💯
@@jefffromsocal6038. I agree with you 💯 👍.

@amberbennett8659 lmao, go look up the definition of cocky. Dodgers were straight-up professional. Straight to business.

As long as Manny is your leader 😅
Manny = I ain't no Johnny Hustle 😅
Manny's a mildly annoying gnat. 🤷🏽♀️
It starts at the top. The owner stop blocked dodger fans from coming to the games in San Diego. LMAO.
Whatever. We beat their asses with or without Dodger fans in attendance. 🤷🏽♀️
He used to be known for trying to injure other players at seemingly random times. He at least appears to have gotten _that_ under control.
“They whupped the dodgers ass 10-2” say it with your chest haha they whupped them for 24 scoreless innings with a bullpen game. Gr8est!!!
Bullshit!! They wanted to make personal..So the Dodgers said we can get personal to. They proceeded to blank their ass for the next two games!!
Wait the Padres beat the Doders ass in game 2, but no mention of the Dodgers beating the Padres ass in game 4?? Lol typical Padres fan commentary haha😅
24 innings with goose eggs.
“Act like you’ve been there before”
Little brother trying to beat big brother. Big brother just wanna win the World Series. Manny Machado is great leader! He lead the Padres to an early vacation every year.
You know what dance Machado won’t do? The hustle 😂😂
The dance Machado won't do is "We are the Champions!!!!,,,,,,,,,,of the World!!!!!!
Go Dodgers. WS champs. 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Yep. They got ahead of themselves and now will probably have to
Watch the Dodgers win the World Series
Not probably... they did
Love this guy solemnly proclaiming that nobody can understand what it’s like facing off in a tense atmosphere against the Dodgers. Allow me to introduce the San Francisco Giants & their fans.
Right? It's not that unique of a dynamic, for the Dodgers, anyway!
Little brother had to borrow an LA radio guy 😂
Try not constantly blocking Dodger fans out of your games.
Padres = The Clippers of LA 🤷🏻♂️

@@JoseNavarro-gd9sbno wonder 😒…..
HIT THE NAIL RIGHT ON THE HEAD👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Sorry for your loss. Very well-written post.
Actually… as a Dodger fan keep it up tatis, seems like it’s working for your team 😅

The team takes on the personality of its leader.
Why do you hate the Dodgers? "It's personal. It's personal." Yet can't give a single example or explanation why lol
There’s an inferiority complex there, all there is to it
There is no accomplishment in San Diego Padres history greater than the Dodgers “Mickey Mouse” WS Championship.
You’d be happy to win that 2020 championship
@@theoriginaltaps LA Dodgers won the 2024 WS Championship a few days ago.
It's gonna be hard to see the Padres have a situation as good as this year in the future against the Dodgers The Dodgers will have a better team next year with their pitching coming back
Padres players got cocky while not win anything....that's the problem
If you've watched the Padres for years, you know their bats go dead in horrible streaks. It consumed Soto, now Arraez and Merrill. It's lack of leadership to pull them out of it, BoMel and Soto saw the problem which is why they left.
I'm a Dodger fan and was just wondering if Soto a bad outfielder most of the time?
Funny how you don’t bring up the Madre players acting like clowns and taunting the fans.
Most high schoolers are much better behaved than Machado and Tatis, because they know their coach will bench them if they showboat.
I like the Padres. I would support the Padres against any other team. The people in SD should ask themselves why they feel the need to chant "beat LA." The only team they chant against is the Dodgers. Frankly, it's petty. The fans should be bigger than that. Maybe if they get over this, they'll progress.
No. The team flat-out choked. Anything else is just an excuse.
The fans too , all year talking all this . We also beat them with 17 injured pitchers 😂😊
I thought running to his left way out of his direct path to second to get hit by the ball was illegal.
You may hate to hear this but as a dodger fan, I completely agree with you. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for listening
Just love hearing the pain in their voice outta my fans and San Diego fans I just love it😂
Profar, Tatis and Machado knew exactly what they were doing. They messed with the bull, then they got the horns. There are dumb fans in every teams base. The key is to be professional and not to mess with them. Padres are too emotional.
A buncha pms chicks ...🐣
There is indeed an intense rivalry between L.A. and San Diego, but only the people in San Diego know about it.
Lol It’s like San Diego is saying “Please pay attention to us!”
I don't understand why Padres and their fans take the Dodgers so personal? Why so much animosity? Where does it stem from?
Padres' chip on their shoulder is personal. Dodgers' chip on the shoulder was not winning the WS until now.
That was WS for Padres 😅. Padres just came up short and No parade
❤spoton😂
we said the same for last 3 years. but never make it person in the division., because we play you next year too.
The bar is that low down in SD.
I always suspected this dude was a not a real lakers / dodgers fan. Im unsubscribing from all his shyt
Here is the great part Dave Robert's gets to coach Machado and all those other little boys in the all star game 2025 😅😂 GO DODGERS
I’m a Dodger fan and love everything about the rivalry. Tatis is a guy you buy tickets to watch. Machado is a great player and the perfect heel, and plays the role with purpose. The teams and fan bases hate each other the right way, with grudging respect. There is one exception…
Profar is a jackass.
Agree 💯, on EVERYTHING.
Use to listen to John, Rome, Hacksaw, Jennie when it was The Mighty 690
Manny is not a team leader no matter how much you want him to be one. A terrible reputation throughout the league with no respect...

The HR robbery irked me a bit but only because he delayed so long
Padres grew huge EGOs and after that they fell apart. Having big EGOS don’t win Post game especially World Series.

Padres are too arrogant...they have not won a damn thing...but you would think they have won back to back championships. Be humble.
I’m gonna love all the questions the organization the manager and the players have to answer next spring about this loss.
A.J. Preller doesn't build a team. He brings in a bunch of hired guns who are playing for themselves instead of championships. He's always changing the parts, but teams that win are ones that the sum is greater than the whole. Players have to know their roles. It all starts at the top, and that includes the GM and manager.
