Congrats Abby! Glad you made this video I was panicking for me it was a nightmare days of IBS and I had to take laxatives to unclog my bowels. Opioids really mess up your body and digestive system.

I just had my surgery 5/25/16 and everything went well until I was so constipated omg I felt like I was having a baby out my butt worse pain ever felt like contractions when I used it felt like heaven

Im suffering had my surgery on 1/14/20 I've tried to go its so Painful. It's right there it won't come out. I keep calling on Jesus that's how painful. I also have gas that won't leave me.

Omg just post op 2 days and im home already dying to move my bowels think i will feel better once i go i have gas took stool softer with a stimulant and slow move tea looking forward to go in the next two days. Glad your feeling better hopefully i will too. Take care

I agree. Its not that bad. I'm on day 8 or 9 post o.p. and life is actually getting better. Still have mild cramping and a little discomfort, but it's tolerable.

I had a complete hysterectomy October 1st, 2018 yes the most painful part was pooping for the first time after the surgery. I'm still having pain but it is not bad. I'm in my three week of op my stomach is really tender still. I do things around the house not to much. I haven't taken my pain medication for two weeks.

Hey Abby. I have been watching you on the vape channel for a while. I had a total hysterectomy a few years ago. Hope you heal quickly. I feel for you. Hug a pillow while you are going to the bathroom. It makes it a little easier on the stomach :)

Take stool softener and milk of magnesia for constipation

You look FABULOUS Abby... Please still go easy for the 6 weeks I dont want you having to pay the price of over doing it... Stool softeners are the bowels best friend after a hysterectomy, pick up a bottle makes for "smoother moves" :) GO easy! Big Hugs from New Yawk

I'm on day 5 since I had my vaginal hysterectomy and I'm worried and concerned because I've not had a bowel movement and it hurts I have spasms in my rectum that takes me down I've been drinking detox tea stool softeners everything they suggested nothing's working my only pain is in my rectom from not going number 2. I even gave myself enema nothing

for me after my hysterectomy , i don't have a problem my bowel. but when i reach my 2nd week of recovery that's where it all started. the gas in my stomach, i can't eat coz i feel that im always full.

I had total hysterectomy along with prolapse bladder/rectum repair & vaginal vault suspension on Monday. Its Fri now, I still have three days with a urinary catheter and I'm in freak-out stage with not having a bm yet!! I've spent hours just sitting on the toilet, taken 3 days of dulcolax and 2 fleet glycerin suppositories...nothing. HELP!!

I had a total hysterectomy 5 days ago.... I tried walking a little bit more yesterday... maybe its was too soon.... I'm having a lot of problems trying to poop. It's very painful, I feel like dieying 😭😭😭

Have you tried Milk of Magnesia? The stool softeners hospital gave me worked slow-didn't have a bm for 5 days, but when I finally did, it didn't hurt

+Felicia Edwards for the hospital I didn't end up bringing much. the only things i used were - a hairbrush, gum, face wipes, and chapstick. For after the hospital, I needed GasX, Miralax, belly binder, comfy oversized sweatpants, and a "husband" pillow to prop me up on the bed. The hospital provided me with a big water jug with a straw.
