Will you need to start doing a podcast. Every time I cook something that takes time I find myself throwing one of your old videos on to listen while I cook. You just have a really nice voice in the most no homo kind of way
Absolutely related to this video. Been going down to the keys lobstering for over 35 years and all the grunts, snorkel words, reactions, all came racing back to me. Wasn’t going to go this year but you have made me change my mind. I don’t like Mac and cheese but will definitely start harvesting the knuckles.
That spot was loaded with bugs for being right off the shoreline. That 1st one you caught was a stud! Steeping the lobster bodies was the money maker. Great dish as usual Will. Thanks for sharing!
People are the same way around here when it comes to scallop season half the people don’t even know how to run a pose. We had two guys get their legs chopped up and a bunch of other boating accidents. What a great recipe have a great day will.
Long time viewer, first time poster. Hands down this is my fav CWC video to date. My man slayed it in the water, then slayed it in the kitchen. Other YT creators should be jealous because this was a BANGER.
Oh man! Will! Talk about the perfect comfort food! That looks so good! And can we talk about your lobster hunt?! WOW! Looking forward to the spider crab cook. You scored on all points Will! Thank you for another "Ya left me hungry video" LoL! Have an amazing week!
Holy Cow, the lobster were everywhere. We were down the last week of June, I was able to snorkel at Bahia Honda Park, I saw several lobster but none that big. Great Catch. Micky C
Great job catching up the lobster 🦞. Making me drool watching you guys eat it. I would sometimes cut the lobster up into medallions and bread them with penko bread crumbs then fry them in oil. Just something different from the every day boiled lobster everyone else was making.
Will, I am LMAO watching you snag those lobsters. Keep up the great content, I’m living vicariously through you. I am terrified of the ocean, but I really love it.
I loved hearing your inner kid coming out with all of the delighted laughter you had as you hand caught those lobster! Seems like it was a pretty wild mini-season. I never knew about the lump meat in the antenna so thank you for that education. Steeping the carcasses in the cream was simply genius as well as using four really flavorful cheeses. That had to have been one of the most delectable lobster mac’s ever made!
Heyo Brotherino! Great choice going in without a boat with the chaos of this mini season out there. You scored on that one! Awesome episode and killer recipe Chef. Rock n Roll!
Good morning Will. Every time I see you and Arron with lobster especially your channel you all boil the heads for stock but thats it. Being from south Louisiana we make crawfish bisque. I have watched you make a bisque and it looked great. Well the point of all this we take the heads of the bigger crawfish separate the top shell from the legs and innards, There are tons of recipes out there for Louisiana crawfish bisque and how to make the stuffing, but we stuff the heads and put them back in the bisque. I would like to see your take on this done with lobster Wish we had ready access to lobster because I would love to try it. Unfortunately they are about ten dollars a pound whole here and ain't no cajun worth his salt would cook with less than 5 pounds of tails. Sorry for getting long winded.
Yeah, that’s a lobster roll right there! Waiting for Madeline’s response was overwhelming. Aaron’s response was like out of this world and your response. The bomb! Keep the videos coming!
Dude! So happy for you that you were to hop in and limit out in an hour or so. What a great spot you found! And that recipe....are you kidding me?! Steeping the lobster heads in cream, four types of cheese! Lobster mac to a whole new level! Great work Will!
Absolutely gotta be so flavorful!!! Since we dun have lobster here in Mississippi, I’m going to do that recipe with blue crab and shrimp!!! And yes! I will use the crab and shrimp shells for my cream sauce!!! Ha Thanks Will, 🕷️
Looks good and snagging those from shore is impressive! I'm one of those unfortunate fellas who developed a severe shellfish allergy as an adult, found out the hard way after coming back from mini season!
This is the first time that I have drooled on my cell phone screen lol. Baking the heads was the perfect touch!! 👌 This is my new favorite recipe and I haven't even tried it yet 😅😂
Great video Will! Love the laugh during your dive. Lol. Really appreciate that you use the whole lobster at least in one way or another. It really irks me that Floridians are so frigging wasteful with not only lobster but fish in general. I really love your channel for showing how to use seafood as a whole. Really like the idea of putting the roasted lobster body in the cream sauce. I always make lobster broth with my bodies and shells that I use. I’m not much for cream as I use low fat milk and broth in my cheese sauce. I just use more cheese. Lol. I do bake in oven. Sometimes with bread crumbs. Thanks for sharing!!!
I usually finish in the oven with cheese/breadcrumbs on top for texture, but yours looked delectable, brother!!! Awesome video and no cat on the countertops. 👊🏽🤣😂🤣
Got off work late, got to enjoy & relax to Aaron's video from 2 day ago then yours. Will you were killing it today with the lobsters! I will 100% trying this recipe, with steeping the cream with the carcasses. 💕💕 As always, I love the content videos & recipes. Thank you for sharing!!
Hahaha 4!!!!! My eyes wide opened too, when the fourth large one creeped into the picture 😱😍 The grilled heads & steam heat method is amazing, learnt alot! Thx, for another excellent video 🙏🏾 They are criminals to through the heads away….. 🤦🏽♂️ cant stand it
Wow I mean wow. Will great video. Happy to see you get your limit so quick. Please list oz of each cheese you used. I want to bake it exactly like your recipe. Thanks for sharing
I don’t like Mac n cheese but you tempted me. Lol. This is the first mini season I missed in a while but my daughter was there. And you didn’t have a boat kick ass
Awesome vid and recipe at the end! I was surprised that you didn’t use a rolling pin and squeeze out the meat in the legs as well. I will do that and make a nice Bisque with the leg meat. Keep them coming Will!
A fabulous harvest adventure and an even better culinary episode. Can't wait to try it (with San Diego Spiny Lobby). Thx for yet another terrific video!
@CookingWithClams I'm from Jacksonville, Florida but settled in San Diego after retirement from the Navy. I have 2 boats... a 19' bassboat that I use only in fresh water and a 23' center console for salt adventures. Diving for lobbies is really hard (with so many restrictions by the Navy, and SD Port Authorities as well as sealife preserves in LA Jolla, So much of our harvest (which is sometimes significant) comes from use of rigid hoop nets. Your (and Aaron's) mini season videos brought back many memories of diving in KW while in college and during weekend training flights during Navy flight training. I'd jump at every opportunity to take weekend cross country training flights from Pensacola to NAS Key West. There was always a 1 or 2 day layover and you could always find me in the water. Your lobster harvest success just off the bank in the mangroves transported me back to the mid 1970's like it was yesterday! Thank you!!! I NEVER miss one of your video postings and have enjoyed trying to replicate all of your recipes. I will close by saying I have adopted your careful (and thoughtful) use of every part of the sea critters we take locally and have benefited by increased chopping and chewing! CWC is a great channel. (Need to put CWC inside a clam shell logo on hats and T-shirts...like Aaron did with his KWW logo). Keep posting and your subscribers will grow!
Lobster mac is big up here in Maine. Another favorite lobster dish up here is battered and fried lobster claws - I feel bad your bugs down there are clawless. The claw meat has all the same flavor with a softer texture. Do you ever catch and eat slipper lobsters? I hear they taste 100x better than the other kinds.
WOW, Will I love Mac N Cheese, one thing I do different is I cut out the membrane from the lobster leaving only the lobster meat. believe me it taste better when you don't have that cheeky piece to chew on, also I put mine in the oven at 350 to brown the top. but I must say a great recipe. Nothing like fresh lobster. Send me some please
Bro that looked sooooo delicious 🤤!!!! I’ve had 4 cheese Mac bacon Mac broccoli Mac but never had lobster Mac b4!! Always wanted to try it and after seeing this video makes me want it even more!!!
WOW, That was the most informative / educational video I have scene other than what Aaron puts out, You guys are an awesome team, I would have never thought to steep the lobsters in the cream, when I finally make it all the way down to K.W. I want to thank ya'll personally for enriching our lives!!
Looks awesome!! Leftover cheese sauce would be great in and omelet or on some scrambled eggs!! (or hash browns) I love when you cook something.....that makes you speechless!!!! Best feeling ever!! Great job!
That was great Clams, thinking outside of the box !, Who needs a boat ?, well done mate 👍 At first I thought, jeez, Mac n cheese ?, You Americans 😂 !, Sacrilegious 🤣 Then, as you started cooking I'm thinking, Oh yeh 😋 ! Lobsters down here in the south of France ?, Top dollar, or Euro!, But wait, I can do this with Gambas, waddya think chef ?, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks for an inspirational and eye opening video, I know what's on the menu at my house this weekend 👍, unless you get back to me and say, Nooooo 😆
I am in the same boat as you! Lobster Mac is never my go to. Growing up eating Maine lobster to cover up. The flavor at all is sacrilegious, but spiny lobster has a bit of a stronger taste. It’s closer to a shrimp in texture so my answer is yes definitely do this with shrimp, also I grew up in a Sicilian household where you never mixed seafood with dairy so to this day it still feels wrong. But this is a big but that lobster mac & cheese was so good it made me a believer
Man that looked amazing!!! This one made me laugh a bit cuz it has my favorite and my most hated sounds in one video. Stirring mac and cheese is my favorite sound, cutting on a bamboo cutting board is my most hated, it’s like sliding a popsicle stick between my teeth and just gives me the willies. I Can get past it though. Awesome video!!!
That looks so good! Now I’m hungry, thanks…lol I didn’t know about the knuckle meat, thank you for the info. Great job and congratulations on a successful opening mini season ❤️🔥
I think you laughing every time a big lobster appeared was the best part of this video. The rest was terrible to have to watch because we don't get to partake!!! That looked sooooooooo good!
Looks like you found a honey hole for sure, Will 😳🦞🦞Mac n Cheese looked delicious 😋 I am one of those people who would’ve baked it with a ritz & butter topping; crunchy. 😜
The evil snorkel laugh was great 😂
I second that statement!
Yeah it was!!!
Lol. A lot. Sweet
Haha
Haha it was cracking me up.
Will you need to start doing a podcast. Every time I cook something that takes time I find myself throwing one of your old videos on to listen while I cook. You just have a really nice voice in the most no homo kind of way
Haha thanks! I appreciate that
This was ...."hands down" ...one of the best foraging , cook and catch we have enjoyed this year. Your content is most enjoyable my friend. Thanks!
Wow thank you!!
I love the snorkel laugh! And keep the recipes coming Will.
I couldn’t help it
Omg a close up shot of 21:15 of the heads in the oven….. would of been a sick pic
Hahaha next time!
They’re a pain to get all the cartilage out but definitely worth it
This was a fun episode. I got a big kick out of how excited you were finding that big one. Keep making these because I learn so much - thanks.
I couldn’t believe it
Beads on car seat…old school!
Got that bad back sciatica combo
You’ve outdone yourself with the lobster mac and cheese recipe. That looks so good.
It’s was nap inducing!
Awesome job, those are big lobsters , thanks Will for sharing 👍
Some monsters
That spot was loaded with bugs for being right off the shoreline. That 1st one you caught was a stud! Steeping the lobster bodies was the money maker. Great dish as usual Will. Thanks for sharing!
The first and the last were massive
Over a year of watching Key West Waterman and I'm just now finding your channel. Great upload!
Awesome! Welcome!
I’ve been searching for the perfect lobster mac recipe for the past few days. Definitely doing it your way! Thanks for the great videos!
Awesome! I appreciate that
Great recipe for L-M & C ! Garnish of Scallions for color, flavor bite, and texture would be nice 👍🏿
Great idea!
People are the same way around here when it comes to scallop season half the people don’t even know how to run a pose. We had two guys get their legs chopped up and a bunch of other boating accidents. What a great recipe have a great day will.
It’s so dangerous out there I try to avoid being near any boats at all

The sound of lobster underwater takes me back!
Such a unique sound

It was such a blast! Unreal how well it went
@@CookingWithClams I think you were due a great forage session. And this one was epic!
Good one, Will! That looks soooo freakin good! Love the apologies for the allergy crowd and the laughs while collecting. Yum!
It was mind blowing how many were there
Holy Cow, the lobster were everywhere. We were down the last week of June, I was able to snorkel at Bahia Honda Park, I saw several lobster but none that big.
Great Catch.

I couldn’t believe it! I had no idea it would be that stacked
Seriously brilliant! love the heads in the cream + the cheeses. Great tips + techniques - thanks Will. Dungey crab Mac N Cheese is on the list. 🦀🦀🦀
Nice!!!
Bro that laugh!!!!! Killer start to the season. Awesome!
Haha maniacal
@@CookingWithClams what a haul brother....another badass video. Thank you 🙏

Ah I like that idea. Earlier on I did a fried sweet and sour lobster
Will, I am LMAO watching you snag those lobsters. Keep up the great content, I’m living vicariously through you. I am terrified of the ocean, but I really love it.
I was the same way until about 5 years ago

You are a full OG now just reaching in and grabbing them with your hands. Well done bro! And thanks for the mac and cheese sauce recipe!
After catching tiny Spanish lobster it’s much easier!
Heyo Brotherino! Great choice going in without a boat with the chaos of this mini season out there. You scored on that one! Awesome episode and killer recipe Chef. Rock n Roll!
Thank you! Yeah I had the place pretty much to myself

I’m working out in west Texas and I think I had just as much fun watching the video as you did catching the lobster. 😂. Good video man!
It was a great day!!
The sound it makes when stirring :)
Hahaha shhhhhh
Man, im not a big fan of lobster, but that lobster mac and cheese had me salivating. Great video Will
Haha just take out the lobster
Looks absolutely incredible! I can't imagine what it would be like if you added a light dose of bacon crumbles!
Heart attack! Hahaha
The hordes swamp the seas and Will slays toads on the bank.😂
Sneaky
No Aaron needed 😂! I'm jealous, I was in Marathon and the water clarity and lightning hampered our efforts!
I heard it was tough all around actually
I'm a loss for words...
You literally hit me at my heartstrings...
I literally wish ya'll had a producer to put this on TV or streaming.
TNX VID 4 LOL
Haha it’s more fun this way

Nooooo that’s terrible
Lobstering looks amazing. I just looked up the rules. I got a lot to learn on just the regulations. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for watching and commenting
Great job getting a limit from shore. You need to go again on Thursday and make another recipe!
You don’t need a stinking BOAT!!!
Haha I ended up not going cause we had so much in the house
This is the first time that I have drooled on my cell phone screen lol.
Baking the heads was the perfect touch!! 👌
This is my new favorite recipe and I haven't even tried it yet 😅😂

It’s awesome and different because it didn’t need any seasoning other then the little pepper an salted water!!!
Exactly!! That cheese has so much salt in it and salting the pasta water
