It’s so heartwarming to see people my age (24) do this. Good for you! Your oaks are majestic af!!
looks great Paul!
a follow up after the freeze would be nice.
it would be interesting to see what survived and what didn't.
I made that vid last year, everything came back that you see in this video. All the subtropical plants I chose come back from the roots as long as the ground doesn’t full on freeze. I may make an update
The garden is looking fresh as always! Love to see all the natives and wildlife habitat.
I came for the Goodwills, but I stayed for the tills! Love the videos. Keep it up brother
How clever of you to cut off and put the sensitive plants in water to keep the freeze from getting them! 👍 You've done an amazing job with your garden!
Your videos and vibe is always amazing. Very nice garden
You’ve done an amazing job. Everything looks lovely. We’re experiencing a freeze now with below normal temps. I’m worried about my plants but don’t have as many as you. Fingers crossed everything survives for you.
The pond looks amazing even with all the craziness of that passionfruit invasion hahaha you should plant a cactus!
Everything looks amazing! Love the garden tours.
I think you should plant the canna lilies in more sun for better flowering. Nice garden!
that's cool your pond is like a forest of plants now. can't even see the water haha
Such a sprawling garden! 🌿
Came out nice! whatever happened to that 40$ 'discounted' crape myrtle from the last video? The one thing about a plant addiction is that it takes such a long time, at least for some of the develop to that they're showy, but it's nice seeing the change from putting them into the ground and slowly growing.
Nice work! I’d like to come by and see it as I’m in Houston myself. My yard is a work in progress. Don’t forget to cut back your tropical milkweed before it gets cold outside or the monarch’s will stay here too long instead of migrating sour and die from the cold.
Good looking out! I shot a maintenance vid where I did that. Just need to sit down and edit it. The freeze will knock it back too
WOW WOW👍👏👏👏👏Dr.Plant2 you did it Earth is our plan et ✌️🥰
I'd love to see what kinds of Palms grow in your area. U had the sabal Minor, abd I could see a Washingtonia in the background.
Hi Paul .Your garden looks so beautiful with these pretty plants and you can add more flowering plants like pansies and syclamen and camellia and winter jasmine... and you like the purple color with green color there is atree it called vente vitex trifolia purpurea it looks amazing . Have anice day .
Paul, I think you should do some of the cold hardy citrus there ia a bundle from One Green World. I love your videos and I don't want you to give up on it. Ypu helped inspire me to do a garden. Citrus pots that you bring in during freezes would be great as well. Cover your subtropicals if you can!!!
The variegated cana is known as 'Bengal Tiger' and the purple stripped one as 'Cleoptera'.
Classic Plantu W
that leather leaf Mahonia is hella invasive up here in NC :/ keep yours contained dawg. everything else looks A1. hope u survived the freeze!
Dawg I can't believe it 4 years of Plantu! My yard was basic when I moved in. My neighbors yards are all still basic 😅. Man my Sago Palm en the ground died fo no reason. Good luck wit that freeze I'm in CA that looks crazy
and...."Urth es ma plont!"
@@santaanaroadwildman3614it’s actually been 3 years on here. Haha, but 4ish gardening
What I would give if you had a design consulting service. Love you man🤩🥰
To be honest I’m still trying to figure things out. It’s been a lot of trial and error
@@paulplantu Your knowledge of plants is stellar. Love your Planet Plantu
it’s winter and T shirt? I can’t rn 😭
Plant Plantu 🪴 🌱 🌿 🌾 🌵 🏵 🪴 🌱 🌿 🌾
That canna lily that had the green leaves with a spot of red on it is called "Cleopatra"
Thanks, I knew it had a name but couldn’t remeber
@@paulplantu you're welcome. Btw I love your use of native plants in your landscaping. You actually inspired me to use more natives in my own. I've had my property for a few years and I've been working hard to create a little piece of paradise for myself and the pollinators. I've got over 50 fruit trees planted as well as vegetable gardens and beautiful flowers planted everywhere. Keep up the great content and keep inspiring my friend. 😉
Put your passion flower by your fence and let it grow all over it
Did you cover your plants 😥
My fruit trees and small palm, yes.
what happened to all your sagos?
4 of 7 are still there. 2 died and one I got rid of because the fronds were blocking a path
I live in Houston. HMU if you wanna swap some plants.
