I saw Cage the Elephant in concert at the Antones back in 2011 or 2012. Still to the this day the best concert I have ever seen! Small venue and they used every bit of the space. Crowd surfed all over.

I just showed this to my very compassionate little sister. The last time I saw her cry that hard was when she got pissed at Rose for not letting Jack up onto that piece of wreckage in the Titanic.
I ended a very complicated relationship with someone overreactive, jealous, oppresive, yet all giving, loving, splendid, who doesn't really have anyone else to turn now... no family or friends. It gives a new meaning to this song... and makes me feel like the general in the video, I must admit.
You were a hundred percent correct this was about someone who has borderline personality disorder. The Love never felt so intense the passions have never been more present in any relationship you've ever been in since. The borderline is a magic fairy with a rocket launcher that specifically designed in order to go off whenever they get upset. It's one of the most tragic things I've seen
The dragon in the video is a good metaphor for someone with BPD. Desperately needing someone to love, while simultaneously hurting loved ones around them. I don't think they purposely hurt others around them, it's a defense mechanism they developed into a personality disorder caused from childhood. That also doesn't mean the person with BPD has no accountability for their actions though.
