  • Hey! Here is a film study about mirroring. Someone commented about this on my short, and I wanted to expand on the concept with a small film study. Comment your thoughts on this subject!     I wonder if Tokido weaponized the mirror possibly even unconsciously. Daigo's last mistake was waking up to make the same charge attack that just landed against him and was countered, ending the match.
    I could connect to the push-pull dynamic referenced to the advantage bar of a chess game. I'm wondering if momentum can be made more tangible like the calculations of the advantage bar for chess.

      Yes! The chess advantage meter is a great example. Learning alllll the different advantages is important, like positional and score is easy, but temporal advantages are so fleeting and subjective

    So basically mirroring, throws you off your game plan and ruins your ability to control the pace and rhythm of the fight, if you notice it then you can set a trap by breaking the pattern or how you said it shaking them off.
