I bought the tobii last week, I've been considering it for ages but i'd heard people say Track ir is better but I don't wear a headset and I don't want to wear a hat not to mention the tobii is expensive. But since getting it I can say I have no regrets at all, it adds a whole new level of realism and immersion.
Thanks that’s really interesting - as a non pilot I definitely look in the wrong place for landing - I mean why would I be looking over there when I have a landing going on right here ?😅 You keep an eye on that taxi centre line pretty regularly too - as you say these eye tracking techs must have some actual training application ?
I expect he will but he's a 787 pilot these days as you probably know. Therefore we'll probably see much of the future content orientated in that direction.
Did you select "your colors" for this channel based upon the blue (selected) and magenta (managed) of the A320 FCU and PFD interaction? True story: 35 years ago I worked with another programmer that always used these same colors for the programs he created. I think of him every time I see your colors!
With the head tracker, aren't you going to turn your head away from the monitor, for example to look out the left window? So I'm that care do you turn your head to the left but your where to the right?
No it's scaled so moving your head 10 degrees in the real world is more like 60 in the sim. I had these doubts before I got one but it's actually better than I thought.
Well that was an enjoyable use of some of my spare time this weekend. I am planning on getting Tobii Eye tracker 5 this week when I get paid. I have had both Trackir 4 and Trackhat but was never that impressed with either. Have just bought a 32 inch 4K monitor so this seems an ideal time to get back into MSFS2020, especially with MSFS 2024 on the horizon.
Great tip, i might just get this thing. A320 sim pilot, is the email in your channel’s about section the best way to reach you? Sent you a message there. Thanks.
Every commercial plane should have a HUD installed in it. But, why they don't have the flaps, landing gear, throttles, and spoiler values displayed in the hud is just stupid (Full-DN-25/25-0). Then we could focus on the road ahead!

Great video as always. A screen grab of your in sim tobii settings would be useful, if only as a base start point for the rest of us to "tweak"
Can you show us your settings of your tobii 5 in fs2020, thank you!
This would be good - I can never get my settings right 😂
He's just uploaded a new Tobii related video 📹 Edit: Fail on my part - this is the video in question!
@@hjr2000 where ? It’s not on ?
Great review, just love the fact that you included the Jester clip! I often land without him.
Thanks, I always love Jesters antics!
@@320SimPilot was that section in the F14 in MSFS or DCS? 🙂^Haden

will there be a landing tutorial with the B787
Will you fly the A320 anytime soon?

Could you please share your settings?

@@Stubakka99thanks, always wondered how you'd turn your head 90° and still see your monitor.

Enjoy! Thanks for watching.
@320 Sim Pilot, How do YOU get the interior views, on the Tobii? I can never figure out, how to do it inside the Cessna CJ4?
Hi, how do you get the wing views so quickly & then back to the cockpit?
I would love to get it but I don't have the money to and for some reason my sim doesn't work all too good right now
Wish this was available for x box
