Hi
Don't forget to rest when you have the chance, be careful with overworking yourself!

Not all of each evil race can be evil
I love the added video of Ains casting his buffs while talking about how the paladin is buffing himself
dayum Ink really pulling out all the stops, thems some nice art and movements in there
_Ink, the underscore is important according to their banner. :P also hi jocat!
Thank m8
Wow, fourth reply :>
You gonna get in on this action, JoCat? I’d love to see how you interpret Dingo and Felix into your art style. 😁👍
Felix's epic blow of *SUPREME OVERKILL!*
Dingo: "Basically a Chill The F**k Out potion..."

You should have Dingo as a guest on your channel. I bet there some amazing horror stories just waiting to be told. 😁👍
"Friendly competition?"
Felix: "Friend, you are NOT competition"

"No"
"What did it cost?"

That is definitely what happened to those legs. Also surprised that old man didn’t you know die on the spot because 700 damage to the legs would probably at least harm more then just cutting them clean off.
Lessia seems like a cinnamon roll; I’d be friends with her. I’d also like to have a plushie of her.
Yeah I'd definitely be friends even as my characters might be scared of her and fire.

The "Chill out to death" potion was probably Felix's message of "Fuck you for creating a mushroom spider as a character" to you. If it's true, he'll probably deny it.
I mean, the trap wasn't even anywhere close to being hidden. It's the Underdark. It's a Drow. It's a FEMALE Drow. Unless those things work differently in their setting then those are three major red flags. They could have at least checked the potion before using it lmao

When you see anything Dingo related that has 'whoopsies' in it your definitely in for a fun time!!!
Needed more potatoes, tho

This is a woman who literally started her channel with the story of that one time she accidentally unleashed an apocalyptic hellbeast. When she whoopsies, she whoopsies _hard._

Dingo: he was fighting an old man
Erina: don’t underestimate those senior citizens
Now I'm imagining Sips telling these stories to the rest of the group.
fear an old man in a profession where men die young
I'm 90% sure the word "fools gold" is burned into dingos retinas.
Considering that in original lore: becoming a drider was a punishment from Lolth for failing her tests, you'd think there'd be a ton of good driders put there.
Hmmm...
Supposedly the driders lose their higher sentience and become smart animals that want to eat/murder anything they see.
@@timwoods2852 that depends on the edition.
By at least 3rd they were still sentient, but it was still considered punishment.
For my own campaign worlds: becoming a Drider is _technically_ and honor, but there is no way to achieve any higher status after your transformation; you are locked in.
@@tyrant-den884And _that's_ the beauty of DnD. You don't have to follow the RAW. You can make up your own lore.
@@timwoods2852 redundant statement is redundant.
You say that like I didn't know.
@@tyrant-den884I'm celebrating the creativity that DnD allows and you're not the only one who might read this.
I like the idea of Dingo and Ink talking this out.
Ink: "I've got an idea, Dingo - instead of you painstakingly recreating a scene that keeps you up at night, how about you tell them about the incident and I'LL animate it?"
Dingo: "That...is WAY better. Let's do it."
*mind blown

Also precious beans. Precious beans that mean well are best PCs.
“With a very large chainsaw sword… that was also on fire”
Was Felix playing as Corrin Fire Emblem?
That was my immediate thought when I heard it
Sounds like a freaking Salamander Space Marine
We had a new player in our campaign literally last session, very sweet person. An enemy rolls high, she rolls low, and the session that was SUPPOSED to be her introduction ends with her getting decapitated. She hadnt even been playing for 30 minutes.
POV: u accidentally murder your own mom because you slipped a mysterious potion into her drink after obtaining it from a suspicious woman in a mushroom town LITERALLY called the underdark!!! :D #relatable! Whoopsies! Lol!
And not just any suspicious woman in the underdark. It was literally a drow woman in the underdark. So many red flags that got ignored xD
Ok ok but hear me out: maybe the lady was trying to help her in some twisted way, not in any good way, but her mom did in fact chill out 💀🤔😭
The Lessia story sounds like a backstory lol (more so if she weren’t revived) your character vows to seek vengeance on the drow.
Why not both? ;)
"700 damage!?!?!" "we were playing 3.5" "ah yes, ok, that makes sense."
Honestly, i love these lil animations telling just some dnd stories. Its refreshing and a good way to take a little break from the angst
1:35 “But Lessia loved her…..out of fear.”
Lets me honest here, who has not fear the wrath of a mother before?!
Will you do a series about the misadventures of Lessia and her friends?
I hope so if Dingo isn't tired by the end of Fools Gold.

Good-aligned drow/drider with an evil murderous mom? I think we've all been there at some point
Competition: >Is friendly.

Fun whoopsie I've done. Wild magic halfing. Bandits trying to bs us cause dm messed up the info. My person is a bit chaotic and threatens them to leave. They reveal themselves as bandits. On a previous magic roll I got my next spell is maximized. I fireball. In a tunnel. With steam pipes leading to the city. 😂 we weren't going back that way
Aw man, it's series like these that make me wish someone would animate my D&D campaigns. In our previous campaign, we did Ghosts of Saltmarsh and I played a human rogue named India. In our very first session, she spat down a well to see how deep it was and a giant snake monster came out and attacked us. This pretty much set the tone for the setting and for India the entire campaign.
How'd that go for the party?
@@TinySwanGrandAdventures I mean, all three of us survived to the end, so I guess it went pretty well.
@@LeahLovesNature At least you survived. 😅
@@TinySwanGrandAdventures I almost didn't. Another of India's mistakes was trying to flirt with a sexy pirate lady who then killed her, and she had to make a deal with an evil entity disguising itself as a sea god in order to come back. For a while I was afraid she wouldn't get out of that one.
@@LeahLovesNature I- Okay that sounds like how a character of mine would end up going. 😳
One time my rogue friend decided to *RUN INTO THE F*CKING BONE ROOM* without checking *IF THE BONE PEOPLE WERE THERE* so we almost died to like 7 ghouls. We got like 2 gold total off of all of them. We almost died.
Another time I, the human monk child, decided to grapple to the top of a castle and go into one of the holes in the roof. To nobody’s surprise, there was a f*cking army of goblins all looking up at me. I rolled a 3 to deceive them.
xD now i want to add a bone room to my next dungeon clearly labeled bone room

How did that old man even survive? Like with 700 points of damage, I'm surprised he's ashes are still in this plane of existence!
3.5 characters, when built right, can be INCREDIBLY tanky. Just not that tanky, they were probably using some homebrew/3rd party content for attacking specific body parts.
Probably Homebrewed some rules. Like, specific body parts have HP that totals up to your full HP.

She looks like a pain to draw though lmao
Given what drow parenting is like, the fortune teller may have genuinely thought she was doing your sweet little cinnamon bun a favor.
I've never actually messed up in D&D. The only thing that comes close was a low roll for I think a dex save, and the DM spared me, since I think this was my first session as the character.
Ink's animation style goes so well with your narration - I'd love to see another collab like this! 💙

lol
I don't see the problem, you wanted your mum to chill out and the potion worked, just as advertised. Your mum was likely worth some XP as well and poisoning people is considered the polite thing to do in the Underdark.
The duel was worse, not only did your friends rep plummet but you had to pay a lot of money as well, that is certainly a whoopsie. I don't think a show off fight even gives XP so the whole thing was a total loss.
4:14 SASUGA reference, Dingo sama!

@@_Ink np!! Keep it up, you’ve got serious talent!! :D!!
Oh man, I *just* had my biggest D&D Whoopsie moment. Here goes:
Our party was tasked with infiltrating an enemy military compound in the middle of in underground city in order to steal the chemical formula for Warpfuel, the fuel for our flying machines (which we “appropriated” from this enemy group in the first place), as we were running out and needed to make more. So, we get in, and split up (obviously a bad idea, I know) to search the compound. Myself, a Strength-based Fire Genasi Bladesinger Wizard, and a Kobold Paladin, were one team (originally named Team Shit, then renamed to Team Dragonfire, then renamed again to Team Dragonfire Shit). The rest of the party (a child Harengon Echo Knight Fighter, an Eladrin Warlock, a Human Artificer, and a Halfling Rogue) were the other team (first named Team Child and Team Adult as they started out as two teams, then renamed Team AC when they rejoined).
So, Team Shit snuck down a corridor, silently murdering two enemies, before we came to a large chamber, in which we saw a *GIANT DISEASED GREEN DRAGON* - who we recognised as pretty much one of the Big Bads - working on a ritual over the body of an enemy boss who we had killed a while ago. Bad news, but this was supposed to be a stealth mission, and we weren’t ready to take this guy down, so we tried to sneak past. Queue bad rolls. Fortunately, the dragon was preoccupied with the ritual, so he didn’t really give a shit about us. We walked past him, giving him a wide berth, and found ourselves in a garage of sorts, with two of these spiked wheel-like tanks, with a hallway leading off towards another room.
On the other side of the dungeon, Team AC had silently dispatched two groups of enemies, and slipped past a third. Good news! Bad news was, that third group of enemies heard Team Dragonfire being loud, and were coming to investigate.
So, the Kobold and I investigated this second room, seeing a large group of powerful-looking enemies around a vat of green liquid - Warpfuel. Plus, a bunch of papers on a nearby desk. Probably the formula. Unfortunately, this group had *also* heard us failing to sneak by the dragon, and was *also* coming to investigate. Plus, we heard the dragon finishing his incantations, and, looking back, saw the boss enemy that we had killed before rise to his feet, before being given a new weapon by the dragon.
So, to recap, enemies closing on all sides, including two *immensely powerful* bosses. Myself and the Paladin sitting in a room with a pair of tanks. The target just 30 feet away. So, what do we do?
The Paladin jumps into one of the tanks, I cast message to my allies - simply the words “Going Loud”. (As we were playing on Discord Voice Chat, the Paladin sent the Payday 2 soundtrack for us to listen to). A cast Dragon’s Breath on my zombie companion/pet, and instruct him to breath ice down the corridor towards the Warpfuel room, to damage and hopefully kill the enemies in there. He rolls absolute dogshit, all five of them are still alive. They come barrelling down the corridor, one of them uses Blight and instakills him. I try to work out if I could make it down the corridor to grab the papers without dying - the answer is an almost certain “no”. There’s only one option: bug out.
It’s at this point that I should explain a table-rule that this DM has. Drama Points: as a reward for particularly dramatic moments, we get Drama Points, which can be expended to add +5 to any d20 roll. But they have another use: we can expend two drama points to have a dramatic thing happen around us.
The Paladin, already in one of the tanks, motions for me to join. I do, rolling over one group of enemies, not quite killing them, but hurting them pretty badly. Hearing the other enemies coming down the hallway, we turn and burst out of the garage, out into the city. I spend two drama points to have something dramatic happen to help us escape, and the ceiling begins to collapse behind us.
Of course, this left Team AC stuck in an enemy compound on high alert, pretty far away from our target, with no clue what had happened to us. Worse still, the Harengon character was kind of empathically linked to my character through a magic item, and so was experiencing all of my panic, fear, and desperation at the same time as I experienced it.
Team AC *did* manage to get the Warpfuel formula, and escape with their lives (even blowing up the compound on their way out), but Team Dragonfire Shit got chased out of the city by flying machines dropping bombs on us. I only survived by popping a Potion of Gaseous Form, and the Paladin was down to ~5HP I think? We regrouped, and now I am known as That Guy Who Ruined That Stealth Mission That One Time. Even though the Paladin was the one who made the decision to use the tanks, I was the one who sent the “Going Loud” message, and so I am the one who will be blamed for it.
Of course, all this was after the quest where we all decided to split up in a confusing cave network filled with Black Puddings and creatures who could go invisible and teleport while in darkness, but that’s a story for another time.
