According to Wikipedia and Six Flags website "The Riddler's Revenge is a Bolliger & Mabillard stand-up roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The ride is situated in The Movie Town area of the park and was the park's eleventh roller coaster. It was also the park's single biggest investment on an attraction, to date, costing US$14 million."
"Upon opening in 1998, The Riddler's Revenge set world records for this type of coaster in height, drop, speed, length and number of inversions. The previous record holder was Chang at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. The Riddler's Revenge stands 156 feet (48 m) tall and features a top speed of 65 miles per hour (105 km/h). hey i was coming here to post that! ok fine I'll throw in "thigh-crusher" cause that's also true. This ride would be so much better with sit-down seats. As would green lantern at Six Flags Great Adventure. We can dream they'll follow Cedar Fair and get rid of the stand up trains, they can make Georgia Scorcher and Apocalypse floorless too.

It would be great for this to have a voice over, while you're climbing, saying "Riddle me this: What never leaves the floor but still falls through the sky? The answer is simple just look at where you are." and then fall.

They locked this thing while I was standing on my tippy toes. Before it locked I kept trying to get it to go down, but it wouldn't! So yup, I was on my tip toes the whole ride. It was still fun, but eh I prefer the sit down ones.

Hell yeah.. Im a guy and it was really uncomfortable and it hurted too. I couldn't get the seat to go down and i was in my tiptoes luckily my friend help me pull it down. Never going on it again

01:23 notice how quiet it gets as the coaster goes over the hump. They engineered it to go zero g. The train is floating down over the track. I used to do this all the time riding this thing. If you jump (you have several inches between your shoulder and top of the harness) at the right moment you will float till the train catches you at the bottom of the hump.

The key is to stay in a sitting position before the ride locks. Once it is locked you can just sit and enjoy.
Say what you will, this is probably the best stand-up coaster out there. Probably says more about the other rides of this kind than anything else.
Bruh I remember the guy set it up for me and I was literally being lifted by my balls instead of standing, the whole ride. You know the rest...

Standup Twister Coaster 1 looks too intense for me!
A few things:
I went on this kind of ride that you call the nutcracker. It was Green Lantern at Great Adventure. It didn’t hurt at all. I say in the front for it and it didn’t hurt. It was smoother in the front. But didn’t hurt my legs or private area. What makes this ride any different?
Why is the area in front of this ride always so empty. Its popular why is it almost a ghost town there?

This was the first "extreme" roller coaster I had been on and I LOVED it, although my siblings weren't happy, they are older than me and therefore taller at the time. They complained a lot after it was over, due to having their head banged around. Meanwhile I kept asking to go again. I remember being in the seats and trying my best to stick my hands up on the loop. I have to say though, it was really loud! You could hear it from pretty far away.
I went on this for my first ever rollercoaster ever, and surprisingly i actually loved it, but personally my favourite was tatsu

I was too short for the ride but I got on anyway, the only reason I screamed was because I’d gotten a cramp in my inner thigh through out the whole ride 🤦🏻♀️

p.s. people shouldn't pay attention to the standing up part so much, it's just these loops at the beginning are the best inversion on any coaster I've been on, huge, fast, free-floating... fantastic.
If you don't lock your seat on tip-toes you'll be fine. The last corkscrew puts a little too much weight on your knees I find. But hell this ride before the break run is pure heaven.
This ride hurts, not only your body parts but even makes your legs tingle from standing 😂

Believe me, I’ve been to SFMM several times before, but this coaster would make a better floorless coaster than the park’s actual floorless coaster
I fuckin loved this one so much, one of my top 3. So much fun doing this standing up, the nauseous feeling is great up on those green tracks XD It feels like flying to me, no legs or hands 🔥
This was under construction the day I came. The next day... WOW ITS OPEN. I was really looking forward to riding that. Guess I’ll have to wait till next year for it to happen again. 😥

Went to MM yesterday. This was the most intense ride of the day by far. Video doesn't do it quite justice. When I got off I saw some kids in pretty rough shape. haha.

I’m a dude and this ride has never given me any problems. Just position the restraints carefully. The ride that is a true ball breaker is Manta at Sea World San Diego. The restraints on that thing suck.

Stand-up coasters are the worst. They should do the same thing Cedar Point did to Mantis but Magic Mountain already has a floor-less coaster (Scream)
