Oh yeah! I remember the superman scape operator girl , saying "bye guys" just before pressing the bottom to launch us up, it is amazing how the right words, make an experience even more unforgettable.

First twisty coaster I ever rode and I had to do it by myself because my friend was deemed too big to ride it! What a way to get over my fear of roller coasters!!
He was too big? As in height or weight? I only ask because my husband is losing weight so we can go to an amusement park.

seats suck ahaha got the biggest wedge and thought I was gonna fall out. but I forgot during the ride so it’s good
Yup I was so short I couldn’t reach the bar the employee have to help me
I might be crazy, but I rode this 12 times in a row, and it was so worth it! Hate stand-ups all you want, this is my favorite coaster BECAUSE of the standing forces! It really tries to kill you, and I LOVE it!

With a bad position it can be kinda uncomfortable but when you get a good ride on it it's incredible. Fantastic layout by B&M.
In the case of standups like Green Lantern, it’s not the layout I hate, it’s the fact that the standing position causes blood to rush to your feet more direct and painfully than in the seating position
High key loved this ride.
Just rode it for the first time a day ago and it was an incredible experience.
People hate this ride because they don't know how to adjust the restraints. You sit down slightly with your knees bent until the restraints are locked into place. Then you can stand up. Its easy!
Interesting. I’ll give this a try next time I go to Six Flags. I rode this yesterday and the area surrounding my balls were absolutely killing me 💀💀

@@alexsolano27 Please! This ride gets such a bad rap. I almost wish Six Flags MM would put out a PSA on how to ride this thing. Haha
Remember, the restraints bob up and down until they lock them in place. So if you dont want your groin hurting, sit down on the bike seat pushing it down a couple inches, then once the restraints lock in place, you can stand up.
Just don't push it down too far, otherwise you'll hit your shoulders. Lol

@@alexsolano27 yeah I was 8 years old when I rode this back in like 2012 or something and I remember pulling down with all my mite so I can stand comfortable enough without my nuts getting destroyed. After that it was a fun ride. I don't think people know that loop actually used to be the worlds tallest loop at 72 feet or something and it's actually taller than the initial drop by like 20 feet. Then full throttle came out

I been on that ride lots of times and it was really fun it's one of my favorite rides
I don't know why this coaster gets an ounce of flack. The year it opened, it was easily the best coaster in the park. It still holds up and the new paint looks amazing.
A lot of people don't like stand up coasters.

This and Batman used to be the best atmosphere themed in the park. Sadly they stopped playing the music, stopped with the upkeep of the theming and the paint. I used to be a ride op for RR back in the early 2000's, was a great ride to work on.

I think Riddler’s Revenge is quite underrated. I think the key to enjoying a Standup Rollercoaster is getting your restraints right. If they’re not, all you’ll be thinking about is the crotch discomfort and not the ride itself.
For me it wasnt the balls it were the legs lol i was fighting to keep them
RR is a awesome ride. It definitely needs new karts or restraints. The current ones beat you up alot.

I just rode this ride a few days ago someone told me the key to get comfortable on this ride is crouch down in the squatting position and i dont like roller coasters but this one has changed my mind.10+++

If you're in the east coast, the "Green Lantern" (six flags great adventure, NJ) is exactly the same. This ride was fun
No its completely different. The layouts are different, themes are different, green lantern is rougher
I've never got to ride and stand-up coaster. My home park is Carowinds and we have one called the Vortex but I've never got the chance to ride it.
I rode the Vortex one of the last times I came here and it is a very nice stand-up coaster! It has a long wait before you get back into the starting area though. I recommend it 100% :)

usually go-pros! bc they aren't loose objects & are attached to the head :) but i have seen some videos on just an iphone & i guess people just have a crazy grip 😂😂

Stand up straight on this coaster bend at the knees slightly … legs might feel uncomfortable after but goes away in a few minutes …This is what revenge feel like😂

I haven't been on this ride in forever, I don't miss it to be honest. I don't think my shins could handle it after a few motorcycle accidents lol
Be VERY careful how you lock in to this one at launch. I got caught in a bad/slumped position (almost half crouch) and the ride was the worst coaster I’ve EVER ridden.
The trick (evidently, because I’m never trying again lol) is to stand as straight up as possible. If you get locked in at anything uncomfortable AT ALL, it’s the worst ride in the park.
All that being said: I acknowledge all the people that love it. It’s not the rides fault really.
Love the ride it’s just the seats that are very uncomfortable

This ride is fun, but I think I'm getting old af. I'm 30 now, and even with initially crouching a bit before the seats locked so all my weight wouldn't go down hard on my balls, I bent my knees slightly during the valleys of the ride, and it still felt like I did a number on my knees. I guess I can see why this style of coaster is unpopular now. Sucks, because this used to be one of my favorite rides in the park.
I went on this in February so it was a little chilly but I just remember the guy sending us off said "it's cold have a freezing ride I guess"

I remember I was able to ride this 7 times in a row on a date with an ex without getting off. The crew was really nice and there was no line lol
I know King Cobra at Kings Dominion was garbage compared to this, that thing was not smooth at all.. this ride looked smooth as silk. Loved it.

On this ride, you "sit" on an extremely narrow bicycle-like seat. If you are a guy, especially a guy with a generous package, it is going to be quite, shall we say, uncomfortable!!

Let's hope that never happens. We already have Scream, we don't need another floorless.
Or even just a conversion into a standard twister. Every other big stand-up coaster has been converted, and for good reason.
I’ve never really had problems with it, as long as you stand up straight and not sit in that seat. The best rides come in the form of holding the vertical restraint down and having it dig a little in your shoulders, which is a lot less uncomfortable than getting your balls crushed
