How many saw the Dawn French Covid version of TVOD. As Dawn had said we never got to say goodbye. So in the Covid version she did get to say goodbye to Alice. It is entitled 'The Vicars Tribute to Alice Tinker,' on RUclips!
I love this series and the piece at the end with Geraldine and dear Alice. But you'd think that the vicar might have given up long ago with getting a laugh from her verger! (I think she was the verger?) R I P Emma Chambers. Died far too young.

It almost looks like these were rehearsals or outtakes for the show as the film and lighting look " off ". My favorite joke told by the vicar was the one about the nuns lost in the mountains. Oops, wrote the above before I heard the last joke here, can't wait to tell it to my priest.
At the end of Community Spirit, they should have had the old joke, "Which TV programme do horses like best? NEIGHbours." Alice could then have remarked, "Yes, especially when that equine-faced Kylie was in it!"

I don’t know how Emma kept a straight face, she even managed to tear up about tinselitis lol. Dawns jokes were fairly lame at the end, classic dad jokes, but Emma made it hilarious much to Dawns (pretend) frustration. We will miss her 😊
