- I wanted to see if my 2009 Dodge Charger SXT with the 3.5L V6 could do a burnout with 20-inch Hellcat Wheels! I have 20x9.5" in the front and 20x11" in the rear, with 275/40R20s all around (in this particular video - the footage is about a year old). Not only was that a failure, but a random guy also got super pissed off at us and started yelling and threatening us! Watch for an interesting video!

ZERO260/// I mean technically a V6 Charger isn’t the slowest car. I was 19 and I bought my first car on my own which was a new 2016 V6 3 years later I bought my first scat pack. Now that I own a scat pack I can say that the V6 has a lot of power for being a V6 base.

Fun fact: if you have a 2005 Magnum or 300, the way to fully turn off traction control is slightly different. When you turn the key to turn on the engine you have to hold it off to the right for an extra three seconds, then immediately hit the ESC OFF button. This has to be done in one motion while turning on the car - it won’t work after the car has turned on

I had a 2010 Challenger with a 3.5L 250hp it looked great and growled nice, rear tires lasted a long time. I traded it in for a 2016 SRT with a 6.4L Hemi 485hp. Time to get new rear tires.
I still drive my 2008 3.5 every day, 175k miles on it. Always got compliments from friends about the sound of the engine. It's a nice sounding V6 and even though it struggles on the low end, once you get up to speed it does great. I haven't gone over 110 in years but at freeway speeds you can hit the governor at around 116 really quick. I've heard that with higher rated tires (and a disabled governor) you can hit 140.
All that being said, god damn I need a hemi. I just wish I could get a new RT that looks like my 2008... I am so in love with the body and interior.

You can't have a gun, but alternatives are permitted. My workplace doesn't get its own parking lot, so half of us have to park in a sketchy gravel lot where the homeless commonly pass through. Safe to say we each have a "toy" in our cars. One guy has a bat, I carry a hammer, and one of the managers with a nice Mercedes has a circle saw with the guard removed. Now that last one isn't exactly legal, but at the same time the police can't say shit about it considering we work at a plumbing & heating depot where power tools are a part of the trade. Still, I kinda want him to get into a bad situation, just to see how fast someone can run.

With my 2018 Challenger 8 speed auto and 245x 40x20" tires, 1/4 tank of gas, I've put down over 100' of black streaks. The 8 speed auto has a super low first gear which makes this happen. Engine brake to 3000 rpm, lift off brake, and mash the gas pedal.

Yeah those 8 speeds are fantastic! In the RT going from 5 to 8 speed shaves off between 0.4-0.8 of a second off the 0-60 just from the tranny, pretty sweet. I’ll look into the 2020 lineup, I’ve been checking here and there and 1) not much info is out there and 2) it won’t be very different yeah. But I’ll post something when I have the right info

I have a 2008 Dodge Charger v6 3.5. It’s a Dub edition, they came with 20 inch rims. I still can’t do a burn out. Maybe a small up hill with smooth pavement other than that it won’t spin.

06 SRT I had to be in park and hold traction button for a couple of seconds to turn traction control completely off
Might have to much weight in trunk. I took out the spare and jack in my 2.7l dodge magnum and it spins up even easier now. Also got a lighter battery. The one I had weighed 60 pounds😭

sad part...i own a 3.5 charger....up side I got a square body chevy. I too was severely let down by the low end torque but everything after 1st gear...!!!!!!!!!! Not bad for a damn v6. I got no traction in the rain but after owning my first mopar, Id love to try an awd v8

Accelerate all the way quick without holding the brake switch to brake quickly while still pressing the accelerator just hold the car in place . Anything with 200 hp rwd can burnout .

The trick is(and I'd only do this to a rental lol) is a reverse tranny drop to drive aggressively enough as to when u hit drive you get some wheel spin, then hit brake right away as once they're turning, they'll keep turnin! haha.😂

I think you could do a burnout, just do what you did, leave it in manual shift in 1st, then get light on the brakes, not all the way down, then floor it. See what happens

I sure there is a way to get the tires to spin my buddy has a 3.6 charger and he has to do different things to get it to spin on is that he has to push the brakes in allllll the way and floor it the let up slowly of the brakes if that doesn’t work then he was to drive forward with wet tires and go for it
