The top speeds of the Hellcats are slightly higher than what Dodge put out. When determining the Top Speed of the Chargers, they put them on a 3 mile oval testing track & did average speeds off of the straightaways from both directions & while hitting as high as 206mph, they published an average Top Speed of 203. I had my '16 Hellcat in Germany for the first 3 years of ownership & hit speeds of 200+ a few times. My highest speed, with 5 people in the car, was 204mph/328kmh using the same stretch of unrestricted Autobahn that Chevy used for their C8 test mules (granted, this was going downhill for the first 3/4 of a mile of the run). Stock non-widebody Charger Hellcat running the P-Zero 275s, given the right road & weather conditions, will top out somewhere between 206-208mph. The only GOOD thing about these cars being so heavy is that at speed they just "squat down" & go. Nice video.
FYI. Speed limiters on MOPARs can be deactivated by unplugging the connector on the transmission. Just letting you know. It is not controlled by the ECM.

The Narrow body Charger Hellcats have 90 less horsepower than the Redeye, but without the flared fenders, the narrow body has less aero drag, though it doesn't look as good. Here I go again, do not look at the speed of the Car, what we are concerned with is the RPMs, I, 'm as old as a streetlight, but I still say 55 is where we want to shift, see even these auto tranys shift around there, now when you have the long run, then you can stretch it out. Before we had big block Fords (428/429) and Buick GS(455)and the HO W32series (455) they were the top-end killers, Dodge, no problem we could handle any production car. So in 1969 I was running almost the same as you guys are now, the secret was the gearing in the Tranny, and the Rear End, as I said you have to turn a wrench. Well it seems to me that Dodge is the Boss, When you start running a motor at those extremely high RPMs, the Technology better be right 100% of the time...........BB

Not true - width of the tires, at high speeds, reduce your aerodynamics & increase drag as the wider wheels have to push through more air. On a Charger Hellcat, the difference isn't noticeable until you get to around 175mph. 275's vs 305's will make a huge difference at those speeds.
Such great cars from the r/t and on, but please tell me someone else is watching the gas mileage just drop😂
Negative ghost rider my wife has an 07" R/T Road n Track package shes bone stock as far as upgrades aside from CAI n Catch Can with a 93 Tune her limiter is set at 160mph and she has been to 160mph a few times i passed her at 157mph (she limited at 160mph) omw to 170mph in my Stock 06c SRT8 Charger i have a vid bumpin 150mph with ease

Who Wants The Smoke?😎
Damnnnn 300 💀who is u runnin frm dawg
Your top speed for the 3.6l with A8 and stock 2.65 rear diff. with limiter removed is wrong. I reached 158 mph with my 2014 Dodge Charger SE i had tuned and with bolt ons
I couldn't reach those speeds once i swapped my 2.65 to a 3.07 rear differential
Dude my 2007 ford 500 had 202 hp and climbed smoothly all the way to 111mph then the limiter would hit, them old v6 chargers are slowwww
Won’t be much left to bury
Why do we need cars that fast?? Max speed limit is 70 here.
If you get busted at these speeds it's mandatory jail lol. From experience 😂. And if you have a passenger it's vehicle endangerment.
Who has the Governor tool to remove it?
Asking for a friend
Your telling me that the 2015 Chevy Camaro RS 3.6L can out run some of these V8 Chargers. 😂 I had a 2015 Chevy Camaro RS 3.6L and I loved it and I was racing the V8 Mustangs and I ended up beating them. 😊
Cool story, which mustang the 2v
You gotta be in a 5 speed car and ask why tf my car just shifted at 156 and shit your self worse best feeling 😂 but I got a 8 speed now tho
I've had my R/T charger up to 165 i have a video of it on my chanal
