I love these thumbnail glams that you're using for the guides! I know that's not directly related to the video but I've been noticing and they look so nice lol
Thank you! 😁 They are simply the dawntrail job outfits dyed to match my character, but I do think it makes them look a bit more distinct than each of them having my default outfits for the role! 😁
I just started playing 14 in February, and your Dancer guides for Endwalker is what let me understand the job enough to make it my main while I was playing through content! Currently in Endwalker and giving Viper a go since my Dancer is max level already 😅 glad to see the Dawntrail update come so soon for others to understand the job! 💙💙💙
I have fun with dancer but so far it's just been "press the pretty buttons when they light up" - now I feel like I know how to press the pretty buttons at least a LITTLE better!
"Can be an issue in certain situations-" I cannot tell you how many times I've died as DNC because I used Standard Step at the edge of a FATE and pulled the wrath of the entire FATE down on me.
Oh wow hahaha! I had not considered that one, but that does track! Some blue mages use things like dragons voice to pull fates exactly because of its massive circle! 🤣
For some reason i've had it in my head that I've been playing dancer only somewhat below optimal, but this guide has made it clear I haven't been using the kit very well xD (For example, deciding to just use flourish to proc standard step rather than taking advantage of it giving you a free standard-finish along side normal standard stepping). Learning to juggle the burst with this in mind has made it much more chaotic, in a fun way xD But I'm definitely gonna have to spend time getting used to button priorities and just using my kit better
Dancer has been my raiding main since I started in ShB. I love how bursty it is in the 2m meta now, though I still hate that sometimes I gain so much esprit that I’m crying because I can’t spend it all 😂
Hi Caetsu! Hope you're doing well. I was wondering if you're planning to make a Dawntrail Scholar guide. You have been the one to teach me how to play every other class I have done so far and I was hoping to learn from you again for Scholar and healing in general! If you are planning to make it but in the far future, is your Endwalker guide on Scholar still worth watching or is it a bit outdated?
I am aiming to cover every job, but I am doing one job per week, and partly due to a bug with a trait, I have deliberately planned to out Scholar pretty far down on the list! 😰 I would say my endwalker guide for Scholar is perfectly accurate up to level 90 at least, with an outlier being chain stratagem lasting 20 seconds. Aside from that it is mostly the same 😊 If you are curious about the bugged trait I mentioned, I cover it in this other video: ruclips.net/video/W2x91BvUEGA/видео.htmlsi=NxwqOgedsbfhn148 Enjoy your day! 😊
Coming back later (much later lol) to complain about Dance of the Dawn (and a general complaint about finishers in general, really). It, Seering Flash, etc. all make it impossible to stagger buffs if you end up in a party with two of the same job. Unless you have double every buff, there's no way for a dancer or summoner or red mage etc. to stagger their buffs without losing a bunch of damage under all the party buffs. So now your only real option is... overwrite buffs, which always feels bad.
@Scerttle arguably this was already a problem with things like brotherhood, technical finish and devilment (starfall dance) previously, due to the resource generation as well! It is certainly not optimal 😅
@Scerttle i think the answer is that they wanted to give all the jobs cool new attacks, but don't also want to drown them in another button with a two minute cooldown. The content where this is typically a problem at all, is content where it isn't a major issue. Like regular duties you don't really have dps checks and so on so there it is mostly a mild inconvenience. In extremes and savage you'd prefer to have no duplicates anyway, and I think the developers would rather you don't want duplicates either do in that sense it is a win win 🤔 I'm not saying this perspective makes it better, but just saying that the main places where it is a problem, it isn't a massive problem 😅
i kinda forgot want to comment this on sage video. can you maybe give a short tldr rotation for a level that's lower than the class unlock level. like for dancer maybe a short recap for lv 50 rotation. because you know. daily roullete etc. tyia~
For most of these jobs, the difference at level 50 (for example) is simply that some buttons are not there. So if you understood the guide, I am sure you could figure out a rotation to work with 😁 Case in point: for dancer, the ONLY difference in your rotation at level 50 is that closed position isn't available 😊
A follow up: I can see the benefit to your suggestion for a job where the level 50 rotation is substantially different than the rotation when the job is unlocked, and will try to keep it in mind for the future! 😊
correct me if i'm wrong, but is this meant to be a part of a multi-creator series? this is EXTREMELY like Wesk Albers's Endwalker series, and I know he's working on DT guides already, also iirc you're in a raid static with him?
This is not associated with weskalber in the slightest. And I am not in a static with weskalber, I'm actually quite sure he plays on NA, and I play on EU. I've actually been told my guides are different from his in some ways too 😊

Thank you so much! 😊
You're always right on times we these. Just started leveling dnc.
Haha! I hope you enjoy! 😁

Yeah it takes a bit before there is a significant amount of planning necessary! 😅😊

Thank you for the guide. Very much appreciated

It would be nice if dancer got a limit increase for the technical finish window just like how monks get theirs for Chakra during brotherhood! 🤔😁
Finding a way to make a 30 minute rotation video about a class with a 5 step priority is very impressive.
I feel like you didn't actually see what else was being said in the video if you think that's everything the guide is about 😊

@@CaetsuChaijiCh Awesome! Thank you very much!
They should give closed position at level 15 tbh
It is kind of weird that they don't 😅

@@CaetsuChaijiCh True! I just... I don't get why they doubled down on this. It's like they want to undermine things being done in duty finder.
