    To separate napkins you can also use a piece of tape to the bottom and it will pull off each layer. Fun!

    I used to do my napkins this way. Then one day about twenty years ago I used heat bond and it works the same way just a lot easier. Also put a piece of a Scotch-tape on the Corner and it will lift the napkin apart.

      Hi Michaele ... thanks for sharing how you fuse your napkins. I have tried using tape to pull up the napkin, but sometimes it tears, so I started using the technique to rub off the embossing ... I agree the trick with the tape is super quick. 😊

    This was useful! I watched other tutorials of laminating napkins in matte laminating pouches with plain paper between- produces cool Vellum on one side and printed acetate on the underside after you cut the edges and remove the layering copy papers. Got the supplies and some very pretty napkins- will try this. Thanks!

      I've watched a few videos with the matt laminating pouches too and I bought some laminating pouches from Amazon but I haven't tried it yet. It looks like a lot of fun and would give a completely different texture to the napkins than using the fusing technique. Hope you give this a try because it's a lot of fun and the texture that you get with fusing the napkin is just awesome!

    Karen, what do you do with the plastic wrap that shows around the edges of the napkin ?

    • @YesPleasePapercrafts
      @YesPleasePapercrafts  3 года назад +1

      Hi Judy ... once the napkin is fused to the paper, you can cut the fused napkin with your paper trimmer, scissors, punches, dies, etc. If I'm going to use just parts of the napkin, I don't worry about the plastic wrap that shows because I can use punches or fussy cut images out of the napkins or sometimes just cut parts out of the center to use for cards. If I have a napkin that is smaller or larger than my 12x12 paper and I want to use the entire napkin, I will use my paper trimmer or scissors to cut around the napkin and trim off the edges that have the adhesive showing. Hope this helps. Karen
