punch your punch through tin foil several times every now and then to make them sharp again. it works on all your cutting needs, like cutting blades and punches.

One of the best stamps is a lid or cap about 1 inch diameter. Dip it in black or white paint contrasting acrylic paint and make 3-5 marks on your page. Toothpaste caps make nice small circles. A new pencil erasure makes nice bold dots. When I first started, that's all I had. I mainly do frugal junk journals. I made a nice vine stencil from photo album plastic.

👁👁 QUESTIONS: Is the blade in your Paper Trimmer, removable❓ If it is, why can’t you purchase REPLACEMENT BLADES by contacting the manufacture, if local craft stores no longer carry them❓
In USA, we sharpen ANY TYPE PUNCH or SCISSORS by folding in half, a piece of heavy-duty, aluminum kitchen foil - THEN punch/cut thru foil several times. Stop 🛑 & test the SHARPNESS then resume technique until you are satisfied

    • @TreasureBooks

      👁👁 P.S. FORGOT TO ADD:
Finish sharpening by cut/punching thru kitchen WAX PAPER to lubricate them -
this really makes a BIG DIFFERENCE‼️
Our Fabric/Craft stores have a little hand held “gizmo” just to sharpen scissors - they also hire a professional to come one day per month with a sharpening “machine” for your more expensive scissors‼️
      Sure hope this info helps

About your very dull hole punch - use Fabri-Fix on the metal to attach the plastic more permanently. Once that has dried, get a piece of aluminum foil and punch through it a couple of dozen times. That should sharpen the edges of the punch & make it work better. When I mass make ATC's or tags, or even bookmarks, I only decorate half way, such as these napkins. I don't punch a hole or attach ribbon or add words or cut tag corners. I stack them without embelishments or corners trimmed in containers according to size. When I need a card to fill a spot, that's when I punch a hole & add the ribbon in a color to fit the page and add a word in the correct direction. The reason I don't punch a hole or add words or focal point is because I might want that card to be a pocket or a tuck spot instead of a tag and a punched hole or words could interfer or be going the wrong way. It allows the perfect size card to be used in the right spot with the best ribbon or focal point if you finish decorating it later.

Try sharpening your hole punch by punching holes in aluminum foil a number of times with it, that might sharpen it up without having to buy another one.

I'm not sure if anyone shared this, too many comments to read through, but if you use tin foil on your punches and cutters that does sharpen them a bit. Love you videos.
