These are stunning cards, I love using older products like the triple thick! Thanks so much for sharing and I never would’ve thought of the packaging, tape, shortcut that’s absolutely brilliant!
You are so welcome! Yes. I’ve had the triple thick for a few years. Glad you liked the packing tape trick! It’s great for sentiments, too! Thanks for watching! 🥰
Second comment, sorry. I bought mini silicone spatula like items that make spreading glue super easy. Remaining glue just falls off or peels off easily! Found a set of 3 for cheap on hobby lobby I . Also, we can use paint chips glued together to achieve the striped color card look.
Thanks! I made them myself. I purchased round sticker (Avery brand), designed them at Avery.com and printed them at home. I’m not a fan of stamping ‘handmade by’ with my name. I prefer the clean look of my custom sticker. 🥰
Thanks so much, Brenda! Such a fun technique when you don’t feel like stamping. Makes for a quick card if you plan out your design first. Thanks for watching! ♥️
I just found you on RUclips and have subscribed to your video's. Your tips are great and have not seen these before. I agree with you about Tuesday Morning stores closing down, they had very nice craft stuff (great prices) and other stuff as well.
I am new to this craft and I really enjoy seeing your work. Your technique is easy to follow and with a little patience and attention to details I can say I’m liking my work. Thanks.
What beautiful cards! Thank you for the terrific inspiration. There are really beautiful napkins, and tissue paper out there! I have a love/hate relationship with glue sticks… the ONLY thing I use them for are adhering napkins to card panels! Inexpensive, and they stay moist for just a bit which allows for terrific results when I put them through an embossing folder! Curious if the self laminating sheets in your product list are easy to die cut? Thanks for a terrific video! 🧑🏼🎨😀🙏🏼
thank you! You’re right. There are so many beautiful napkins out there and sometimes, I just don’t feel like stamping, you know? I haven’t die cut the self laminating sheets yet, but they are must more pliable than packing tape, so I’m sure it will die cut well. I have it in my shopping cart and can test it out for you so you don’t waste your money in case it doesn’t work. I have a different brand of laminating sheets and I’m sure they’re similar to this product. I’ll report back! ♥️
Beautiful! I have used the Michel brand of napkins in my paper crafting too. They are some of the best for elegant botanicals and classic designs. Unfortunately, the company was bought out by another biz a few years ago and moved all their manufacturing to China. I'm sure the quality of their products will never be the same, especially their soaps, lotions and things like that.
They used to sell them at Tuesday morning and I had bought many gorgeous designs. Sad Tuesday morning went out too. Last year however, I scored tons of napkin packs from overstock seller at a market in GA. German made, 20 pack for $2 each! Not all are as gorgeous as Michael ones but still great quality and designs. I’m trying to offload them but I’ll use some to make these cards. I don’t have those dies but I can easily cut by hand and make these cards. Great new idea!! ❤
These butterflies are GORGEOUS…TY for the ideas!!! By the way, can you please tell me where you got your name stickers on the back of your cards? 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
I actually designed and made them by going to Avery.com. I bought the round sticker labels, used the corresponding template and printed them on my laser printer. I’m not a fan of having to stamp on the back of my cards. I hope this helps! 🥰

Aw, thank you, Diane! Sending you big hugs! 🥰
So much fun! I usually just let the stuff dry for a few hours and come back, but the packing tape looks just as good. Very shiny! 😊
Thanks so much-you’re right-the waiting of this stuff to dry is kind of a pain. Glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
@@KathyaKalinine Fortunately, dry times are truncated in Phoenix 😉
