The EASIEST Way to Add Color to Die Cuts | Plus a GREAT HACK!

- In this video, I will show you one of the EASIEST Way to Add Color to Die Cuts! I’ll also share a GREAT HACK and a few tips along the way. I now color all my delicate die cut flowers this way to avoid wrinkles or tears in my die cuts. How many times have you had to toss your die cut because you applied a little too much pressure when shading it! ME! #diecuts #colordiecuts #hacks
The tool I use here is a little unconventional but it’s so handy and one I will reach for amzn.to/3zdCX9v more often. Since I bought this in a store and it’s not readily available, you can easily find them on line. Here is a similar model to the one I use in the video in case your interest has piqued.
***NEW!!!*** I found this brush that is very similar to what I’m using in this video: amzn.to/3zdCX9v
This is the link to a very similar brush that is reasonably priced: amzn.to/32IZL4h
This power makeup brush has really helped me with wrist issues and if you SHARE this video, perhaps we can get the crafting industry to manufacture these for us crafters who experience some pain on occasion! What do you think?

I would never have thought of cutting layered flowers to make multiple cards. Love your designs - the cards are beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing - I have a few new things to try out.
Walking away is the best advice! I am very hard on myself and if it’s not perfect I feel like it’s not good enough. If I walk away for an hour or so I usually can see the beauty in what I’ve created and/or come up with ideas to improve my project. Thanks for so many great tips!
YES!!!! I have to remind myself to walk away more times than I care to admit! 😊 Thank you for the kind comment and for watching. ♥️
That is so my experience also!
I really love your approach to greeting card design. It meant so much for me to hear you say, 'use what you have.' Sometimes, I feel this compulsion to run out and buy the latest dies or stamps when I have plenty already! Thank you.
Thanks so much, Allicia! I, too, fall into that rabbit hole of purchasing everything I see and have that ‘I need it all’ syndrome! I recently purged a lot of craft items I no longer have a passion for. So, now, I promised myself to try and use what I have. Stay tuned for an upcoming video where I will be using a lot of products I already have in my stash. Thanks for watching and commenting! ♥️
I love this idea of making 4 at a time. I loved them all thank you so much for the great tips, oh the brush is a awesome idea sense I have arthritis and my hand start to hurt this would be a great help

I love everything about this video! Salvaging those mistakes was brilliant. The cards turned out so beautifully. You are amazing! Also, thank you for reminding us that we need to use what we have. It is so easy to be swayed by influencers to buy more product. Instead, it is a satisfying challenge to use our own product to create based on the inspiration from another creator. As a result of this video, I am a new subscriber.
This warms my heart! Thanks for subscribing and watching. 🥰 I remember cutting and cursing when I made these four card panels. I’m glad I was able to salvage it!
