Hey Andy! I just saw JBL Tune 230NC on sale and was wondering if you’ve tried them out and have an opinion on them. Keep up the great vids as usual! 💪🏾
I have the jabra elite 7 active, they are working great so far and did not get any issue except that they fall from my ears when I bend during exercise. Have you tried Powerbeats Pro ? When will they release a new version of it? I need behind the ears hook kind of earbuds
Hi I'm very picky too I have 5 main needs for my buds, and only jabra was able to deliver what I need IPX7 at least for sport Physical buttons for sport too Multi point to switch devices Custom commands Loud sound I went with the elite 10s but I think I'll get a pair of active 8 gen 2 It's sad to learn that they won't be making buds anymore because now we'll have to deal with all these brands that don't understand that physical buttons are needed in many real life scenarios
@@AndysTechTone And I really like the bluetooth transmitter feature In fact, my former go to buds were the LG TF8Q that I discovered on your channel I actually used to buy Bluetooth transmitters to watch TV a long time ago It was way easier with the built-in feature of the LG The TF8Q were solid multipoint buds, but the sound was weak and the capacity panel was going crazy if it was rainy or with sweaty hands
I was ready to pull the trigger on the elite 10s but I think the gen 2 elite 8's might be the better choice. Call quality in a noisy environment is very good which I expect to see replicated by Andy. Leaving the ultras for ANC like he has. Couldn't decide between elite 10 & Ultras. This might be the way out
Jabra elite 8 active for sure. Its in my pocket everywhere i go. Just got the gen 2 and it fixed some of my main issues with gen 1. At home its the bose qc ultra but i get ear fatigue from them sometimes so ill switch to the jabra elite 10. They are pretty close to the bose for me but not as big or bulky in my ears and a lot for comfortable.
Great review as always Andy, you are by far my favorite reviewer! My only add to this one in the area of comfort, I am absolutely in love with the long term wearability of the Bose Open Ultra's. Finally, after owning over a dozen in ear and open ear options, I have a pair that I can put in first thing in the morning and forget for the day that I am wearing anything. Sound quality is in my opinion the best in open ears, but sadly the call quality is disappointing. Hoping for a fix in a firmware update. My go-to's are now those, AZ80's, Beoplay EX and over ear are the HifiMan Ananda BT's. Please keep up your great work!
Nice vid once again Andy. I am a Sony guy, so I am sure you can figure on my rotation. Enjoy the new Gen 2Jabra's as that's the end of an era. Best Regards J
It looks like I don't really have a preference as far as brands anymore. As for Jabra, such a shame as they just seem to have a very strong lineup now.
I have had Jabras since ages - starting since Elite 65T, going over 75T, Elite 7 Active and then Elite 8 Active. All of my upgrades were forced, as the current model broke down. Elite 8 Active have a completely different fit then Elite 7 Active. It is so different that 8s kept falling out of my ears, no matter which ear tip I used. I ended up returning them and getting Elite 7 Active again.
Shokz open run for exercise, Jabra Flex 65 for office/travel, AirPods Pro for everything else. A drawer to hold all the buds I bought which I don't use (Bose QC Buds, Shokz OpenFit, Jabra Elite 7 active, Anker H700, Samsung Buds Live and I don't know how many buds I have bought and returned).
Andy lad, great reveal. Fantastic production values man. BTW, if you want the most aesthetically pleasing open ear buds, the OpenRock X blows the Oledance out of the Irish Sea - they just do lad.
Sorry to see Jabra stop the Elite line. Feel they should atleast continue to make the Elite 8 active and the Elite 10 lines.

I tested the Powerbeats Pro back when they came out but it's been a while and I have no idea if there is ever going to be an updated model

The gen 2 E8A could be a good replacement for both the Elite 10 and the OG E8A

You're absolutely right, the Bose open-ears are really comfy. Nice list of favourites too
What would be your budget pick for open ears buds?

Bose QC Ultras recently got multipoint support in a firmware update.
I've tested it, it works well.
Better late than never, I suppose.
@@theredbar-cross8515 Yep, just made a short video about it myself
