It’s important to go to welding school but it is more important to learn how to weld. It doesn’t matter what you do just practice and keep practicing. Nobody can hold your hand. It’s up to you. American Welding Society! Welding schools!

I'm not a welding inspector, a safety man, or your mom. Do your own research. I'm not responsible for anything you do. Have an awesome, awesome day. Stay safe. welding tools homemade
Everybody if you have a tractor, you should weld some of these up for yourself for your dad. They’re super handy.
Where do you buy those liquid paper markers for cutting?
I would try any office supply house. Look for correction fluid in pen form. @@evanburton1271
Awesome idea! Chains really help
Yes they do
Nice craftsmanship
Super cool
I am impressed by your accuracy with the oxy acetylene cutting torch.
Thank you Paul. It's just hours and hours of doing it
That level trick is pretty damn cool!
Dam Taylor! Nice cope work
Thanks bud
I love the Level and soap stone trick! Great video!
Thanks so much!
Me too John !!! That trick was slicker than greased owl shit. I will definitely remember that technique
Great video Chris!
Thanks!
Chop saw is definitely the way to go. Try it one time and you’ll never do it any other way!
There is Definitely an art to how you manipulate that metal 👏❗️You make it seem so easy but I know that you’re showing years and years of experience.
Great video 😊.
Blessings, Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊🇺🇸
I’m probably late saying anything about software for your plasma cutter, it a guy named Karl Fisher has a RUclips channel “Make it Kustom” I think he’s actually in Canada? But he’s always making stuff using a plasma cutter and he recently bought a new one and might be able to give some feedback on software. He’s a pretty nice guy. He likes making his own tools for his projects. You might like him
Another great video Love your channel glad to see videos being released so close together
I finally found some time.
A couple of good tricks in there, the level and soapstone is slick.👌
I think we need more project videos!
Will do
That seems to work beautifully!!!!
It does!

Great video. These are my favorite types, DIY. I made a bottom plow out of an old truck hitch some heavy square and some plate. Scrap I had behind the barn in my junk pile lol. Really love your videos and how you truly just want to help. That’s not everyone’s intentions…
Thank you. I’ve never built a bottom plow. Sounds fun. I love building stuff like that.
That level with the soapstone trick to find top and bottom is damn genius.
It’s simple and it works good. Thanks for the comment.
Very good idea. I built several bucket lip attachments for tractors mostly round bale spears and there’s a lot of pressure on the lip and bottom of the bucket and I’ve used a small ratchet with chain attached and went completely around the whole bucket. But you are right in your thinking there will be a lots of pressure on the lip of the bucket. The newer equipment has small gage metal in them than the older equipment. And it just doesn’t have the strength to just attach to the lip. They will bend and bow fairly easy. The newer the equipment the lesser the metal used to build the buckets.
the chains really helped
I need one of these, gonna build one in the spring...gotta find some pipe. I think the chain should go to each fork though...4 chains. You make it look easy, prob take me a month in my spare time haha
I agree that would be better, but it takes away from your space in the bucket
Evolution makes a 12” chop saw I see Karl on Make it Kustom uses a lot. It might work better if you had a12” chop saw
You’re concerned about wrenching on the bucket floor and you’re right. I think it would have been better to have built the brush forks to slide onto your pallet forks that were shown on the tractor. It would have kept the load much closer to the front of the tractor and your visibility from the tractor seat would be much better. Just my two cents. I really liked the level trick and I’m glad Jose still has a home.
Great point! i'm going to take care of Jose for sure
Buy Silver and Platinum
Add two more forks to a set of forks to get it closer to the tractor.I spread my forks out all the time for moving brush, does just as well as grapple.
That’s a good idea
Just subbed from your other channel with you and the wife brother. About that pool for your pond. Check out and do a little research online about Ferro-cement boats. You could use the same basic principles for the pool and then tie in your platform with styrofoam incased cement just seal it good and there you go. You will probably need to aquire a cement vibrator to remove any possible air bubbles or pockets that would possibly compromise the integrity of the strength.
Thank you I will check it out now. I’ve never heard of that.
Hey Chris, could you possibly try the titan 225 voltage stick welder from harbor freight
No sorry bud. I’m tired of working with junk
Chris do you have anymore of those 400 amp stubs rod saver stingers you would sell?
No, but somebody said they found them on eBay
I haven't been able to (find them at all). Who's got the scoop on them now? edit: I finally found them by ESAB! Ebay is out of 300a but has 200 and 400a. Amazoo has some too. I'd never seen this style before and think I'll like it a lot better than a spring-clamp stinger as we've all used. Glad to learn things. Keep that arc tight!

Can we see some 309 or something exotic like inconel??
If I had time you could
😅
Do you think this design would work with 6" sch40? It will be used on a 300 series backhoe.
Maybe.
What pressure are you running
How u been bro
I’m doing good how about yourself?
have welder.... build tools ..make life easier (you can do this with a 13amp stick welder)
Great idea but ad some angle braces between teeth to make it idiot proff lol
Did not look like you had enough lip to go on bucket looks to short I have made 2 sets first one like that just run bolt all thru bucket pull top and bottom together
i don't know why the torch in my welding class takes 10 minutes to start a cut.
