Which mascaras have you tried? May depend on the formula for you. Could depend on the wand shape or type. Have you tried L'Oreal Lash Paradise- or IT Cosmetics Superhero? I personally think the best one to defy gravity and give it lift, curl and length without weighing it down would be Tarte Surfer Curl. Be careful of purchasing boxed mascaras however, on Amazon or eBay, as they may be counterfeit or expired. I believe Sephora carries that particular Tarte Surfer Curl. Would recommend above all else. But anyway, I hope you find one that works for you. Everyone is different and unique.🖤

OMG, I see why people are saying you already have great lashes, I thought you had mascara on already and was watching to see how you made it look so natural.
I need tips on how to stop mascara getting over my eyelids. Even just applying to the upper lashes it ends up under my eyes. I use tubing mascara, which is amazing once it dries, but I have so much trouble with smudging until then.
I'm a guy and I have been doing this for years! I hate it when I see people with tarantulas on their eyes, it looks horrid and clumpy. If you use less product it looks better and more natural.
Awesome tutorial ❣️Am I the only one who always gets mascara on my upper lid just about my lash line when applying mascara?! SMH🤦♀️ I use qtips to remove the mistakes but it literally happens every time I put on mascara 🙄
🙋🏻♀️ Me too! I don’t know how everyone doesn’t get it there! 😅 the only time it doesn’t get on my eyelids is when the mascara’s getting a bit old, so it’s drier and less messy.
Me too! Its alllll over my lids. There was a time in my 20s where it wouldn't happen but I have no idea what's changed and I literally can't apply mascara anymore without that happening each and every time. I let it dry. Do other makeup then come back and remove it.
Thank you! ❤❤❤ I had the Sky High in black and when it ran out I got the ultra black (?) And regretted it cause its so clumpy. I used to swear by Rimmel but was suggested tbe Sky High by someone in Superdrug and loved it. I actually have a Rimmel mascara with a very similar brush to your Rimmel one and it was so caked on and I would wipe it away and I didnt like it. Glad I didnt throw it out. I have always done the wiggle and gentle curl, but I learnt that from reading it in magazines (I am 31) to see you do the technique plus using your finger to get access to the root and the flick. To concentrate on the root first THEN go back for the lengths, and your thorough wiping of the Rimmel brush. I GOTTA TRY ALL THIS. I think even just your technique with the Sky High is gonna do wonders thank you so much! I dont need to fork out, yay!
it looks pretty, but i personally don't like to put mascara so much in the roots due to the fear the mascara makes them wicker and they fall off bc of it
thats amazing and im so excited to try it up. but how about the under lashes. i always messed up and ended up with black smudges under my eyes. some tips please. your tips always seem easy, so i believe i would get it.
Thats not a hard wand, its soft and way too bendable. I hate those wands. The bendability does make it easier to grab some lashes but it isnt strong enough to maneuver well.
This looks like a good application technique! I definitely am going to try it out in my routine. I also want to try the Rimmel mascara since I'm looking into drugstore recommendations. Thanks for the video! ❤❤

I've found different kinds of Rimmel Thrill Seeker mascara but not rhe exact one in the video. One of them was Wonder'Volume Thrill Seeker Mascara, 001 Extreme Black. Is it the same?
All you have to do is roll it out in motion, allowing the sides of the tube to catch excess; at the beginning of the base opening, as your pulling the wand upward, out of the tube. It's really a simple thing. I don't know why no one realizes this yet. You don't have to keep scraping it to remove excess. The way that she rolled the Rimmel back into the tube, do that while you're about to pull it up and out. No scraping or tissues needed. I promise.
I always buy drugstore mascaras. I've never really ever had a great experience with expensive mascaras! They've always made my lashes heavy and not curl. Except for two-faced curling mascara I forget the name of it but it's probably the only mascara I'll purchase that isn't drugstore.
