Error "TVLauncher" can't be installed. Try again, and if the problem continues, get help troubleshooting. (Error code: -505) Not a error for any of the other similar programs in the search result.
Also I just tried sideloading nbc app but it keeps crashing. It won't even open to the menu. A few other sideloaded app that I downloaded are also doing the same thing. Is there something else that needs to be downloaded for these apps to work. The shield has google play services so this apps shouldn't be crashing. I've tried downloaded the nbc app from apk mirror and also I used an app called aptoide but both nbc app version won't open. Any help would be great!! thanx
Nice try but this app is horrible looking it makes the lay out of the shield look good love the Nvidia shield tv but hate that you can't show side loaded apps
What does it mean, "it's a fork of kodi"? I've never understood the term...is a FORK just a way of saying it's a personally customized version of kodi?
Firestickthatshit t means that somebody who understands the actual coding behind Kodi used the source code to design another APK with the same structure but different branding. It's not just a build it's a separate app .
The new fire tv ui is so much better than the shield,no need for launchers simply put your sideloded apps on your home screen with one click,makes the shield look like a 3rd rate box.I have a shield pro ordered but I'm considering cancelling it as the fire TV is fast clean and launchers aren't needed.
LOL SHIELD BLOWS AWAY FIRE TV. You must not have ever used a shield TV if you dare compare it to a 3rd rate box. Way smoother, faster and better than ANY Amazon Fire Product. And when it comes to gaming on top of that, the Fire TV can't hold a candle to the Shield. Keep you Fire TV tho. Your loss.
Psandoval85 I have both I have the fire TV Box and the nvidia shield pro both are 2016/2017 units,the fire tv box runs as smooth as anything I have never had apps crash or fail to load unlike the shield where apps keep crashing or failing to load,yes the shield does gaming better but when it comes to streaming and stability the fire tv box is far better.I also had a fire TV stick and yes the stick is crap,With the new shield fw update that was just released yesterday that may fix some the issues with the shield time will tell.
I have both also now and I mainly use the shield I just wish there was a cleaner interface such as not having a long line of apps and having to scroll here there and everywhere to find what your looking for,I had to return the gamepad it wouldn't charge,however I will commend nvidia on their customer care as the service was excellent replacement within days.
choochoochooseyou Not all that user friendly is still the issue for some people in 2017? lol...Its as simple as downloading a free sideload app from the play store and then all your apps appear there. Fact is, it's unfortunate if the shield isn't user friendly enough for you because it is definitely faster and superior to any other box including fire tv and not only does it blow them all out in gaming but it also streams content better. People who say they don't like the shield tv because it isn't "user friendly" are just pushing a reason not to like it. It's like having a powerful gaming PC that does it all and then saying you rather just use your ps4 because u find the games quicker lol...give me a break.

its great but how can you make it default launcher so I do not have to keep loading it?
Android TV prevents you from doing that most of the time. Even apps that used to allow you to do so do not seem to work anymore.

The launcher won't open Amazon, but does others. Aptoid opens and says there are too many downloading the app...Any ideas?

how do you delete items out of the side launcher?
