- I think this was the first time I saw "behind the scenes" footage from the making of a film. This was the introduction of the idea that when you make a movie, you edit out some bits and keep others. How could you not want to get involved in movies after seeing how much fun these guys are having? This is my belated tribute to Burt Reynolds & Friends.
Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise, Jerry Reed, Jackie Gleason, hopefully making people laugh somewhere in the afterlife.
Pure comedy gold. But how they ever got a film made and finished is beyond me.
This is pure comedy folks. They are All gone 😔 but damn it They were great 👍
Sally Fields is still alive but unfortunately I believe she has drank the Kool aid of the democrats
@@Jesusisking2785 WTH politics have to do with it 🙄
@@johnmoore4714 nothing really she just doesn't behave the same way she did then but it really doesn't matter to the movie or anything more than anything I'm saying America was a bit better off in how people behaved at that time not all people but some but anyway
@@johnmoore4714 Nothing. She's a typical leftist. But if that has any correlation to her crapTACular comedic timing or humor remains to be seen.
@@Jesusisking2785 politics on a movie bloopers? you're an embittered person with an empty life, so sorry for you.
Both Burt Reynolds and Dom Deluise made my childhood. Hope they are having fun where they are and being funny. Miss the legend
A time when what was cut out is better than what goes for comedy nowadays
U know it n im a 😂😂
absolutely. Smokey 1 and 2 and cannonball 1 were the best. Still watch them today.
From another time. A great time. Burt Reynolds was ace.
Stroker...
This was in an era when Hollywood didn't take itself so seriously.... This entertained millions with its slapstick humor and simple jokes... They are all gone now....Sammy, Dean, Burt, Dom, Farrah.... and who could forget Jack... Rest in peace all.... You made America happy....
The amount of FUN Icons had making these can never be matched again.
Dom Deluise and Burt Reynolds had the whole Tim Conway/Harvey Korman friendship/sense of humor vibe going on. They all cracked one another up. Both duos were fantastic. RIP
God rest they're souls, Dom and his laugh, Genuinely couldn't help himself lol
Ya mothas ass!!! lol
Amen
One of my favorite bloopers is when Jerry Reed is trying to shift the truck and it won't go into gear
Get in there you silly son of a bitch!
I also loved That’s right. Now what I say?
Smokey, Cannonball, I hope Burt Reynolds knew how funny he was. I love Smokey and the Bandit ( all of them) but the Cannonball Run movies were the best! So campy and fun. Loved em’
Dang Burt Reynolds was one handsome dude!
Dean and Sammy are gold!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you for this. Bringing smiles to people is truly noble work.
Burt n Dom were so great together. I would laugh so hard
I just love Burt's and Dom's laughs, so infectious, gets me every time! Lol 😅😂🤣
The only movies I'd let the credits roll 😄
funnier than the trash films.
Back in a time where comedy was comedy everyone pocked fun at everyone, nobody got butt hurt over making fun of social stereo types and movies were genuine fun and entertainment! Not to mention at time when everyone could sctually ACT!!!
Jusy goes to show how much Hollywood has gone to shit in 40 yrs.
Damn Burt slapped he shit out of Dom.
That shit isn’t funny to me. Unless that was a rehearsed bit. Not to make it too deep but he embarrassed Dom in front of his peers. They’re all were laughing at him. Not cool to me.
@@ghanasoul I agree. It looked like he took it too far.
@@mmclaurin8035 Watching Burt’s stuff today, he came off VERY cocky and VERY arrogant. He didn’t have an “Everyman” quality to his persona. Robert Redford was a cool looking guy but he had a guy next door vibe. The “Cannonball Run” films were funny, but Burt smacking Dom like that in front of everyone was way over the top. I would’ve been pissed! And the whole vibe of him hugging like “awww it’s ok” after being hit like that is bulls***.
Man everytime he slap Dom DeLuise that was funny as hell
I like when Dom tells Burt not to get the straw off the ground & Burt says " Where else am I gonna get it? Walgreens."
They are still the best!😂😂😂... man I miss those days....
The poor jinxed young people of today are forced to watch the unconscious and completely unfunny "woke" so-called "humor"; No thanks, I'll stick to the 20th-century classics like this!
Yeah I totally agree with you they don't know what they missed out on. It was a fun time to grow up back then.
@@frankrizzo4460 Especially if you're Italian!
Back when comedies were funny
Imagine trying to make a movie with Dom De Louise. Freakin hilarious.
I miss those days so much. I wstch those movies as much as i can.
Now I want to watch Smokey and the bandit & cannonball run: all of them (except the one with the knockoff Burt Reynolds).
Watched these religiously with my brother as kids,Burt was beyond cool!🏴
Sally Field looks like she had about enough of Dom Deluise in these clips 😠
Wow
When a family could go see a movie and spend a couple of hours laughing.
Absolutely the best of times...that laugh of Dom's...flippin priceless!!!...true conedy!
Burt Reynolds was so cool sad to loose him 😔
He’s in a tighter place.
Always loved Reynolds' laugh
We're off! Hal Needham is a legend. Great stuntman...director of films I'd watch over and over..minus DeltaForce but the cast and crew were just the perfect storm.
all incredibly talented and funny, the bloopers are just hysterical....sad that we've lost so many now
I was hoping to see that one clip where the wardrobe dept forgot to tranquilize the squirrel before they put it on Burt's head and it ran off.
Burt Reynolds was a great actor.
I know there are some great comedians today but these legends shaped my childhood. So glad I grew up in this era.
I believe this was the first film to put outtakes in their end credits. Such funny stuff. So sad that newer generations won't get the humor nor will they ever see performers like this again. The sheer number of famous people in one film is staggering. GREATNESS is a thing of the past. They really don't make 'em this way anymore. And! Imagine slapping a fellow actor these days?
You can’t watch these and not laugh. Falling down with laughter right now. I watched the Cannonball Run films over and over just to watch the bloopers at the end.😂
they certainly dont make them like that anymore
These are so so funny... they don't make movies like this anymore... but i wish they did !
PS. Ironically i just saw of it thr Smokey cars in my town a few days ago....it was being trailered ... but still cool to see such an iconic vehicle
FACT: The director for Cannonball 1 and 2 would add 2 extra days of shooting to the total because of Dom Deluise and the laughter he always brought to the set.
God I love these bloopers
God is dead 23th of May 2013.
God, how I miss that era of Hollywood.
If anybody's ever heard of a movie called hot stuff it's with Jerry Reed Don DeLuise and Suzanne Pleshette. There's a scene in there where Dom DeLuise smokes a bunch of weed it is the funniest thing I've ever seen
Burt n Dom were great together
It felt good to hear people laughing. Burt was a good guy and Dome was hilarious.
Burt and Dom, legends.
De man met de mooiste lach allertijden, R.i.P Burt❤
Sally laughed like Burt at the very end...😂
These films must have taken ages to make with all the retakes they had to make
Hello! It's me Luigi! Yahoo!
Best era for films
Enjoy folks. There will never be anything like this again.
Damn I miss those guys!
I loved these two together.
Great 😂😂
Merci de nous avoir fait autant rire.
The funniest part of these movies were at the end with the outtakes. Back in a time where comedy Was for everybody
Great entertainers making great entertainment.
You don't see much of either these days.
Sadly.
loved these
Good times
I miss those actors from back then, they were so funny and clean.
The best bloopers EVER! All time.
And Jack Elam not in a Western!
He was great in that movie, kept giving himself shots, very funny.
Cool times they had a real blast …all those great stars .
Legends sadly missed:(
filmes com o dom deluise, sempre foram engraçados, saudades dele
Cecil? Is that you?
Why did he have to hit him he didn’t do it to any one else.
i love that movie
RIP Dom!
I love it.
It just looks so much fun.
👍👍😂🤣👏👏👏
very cool
The cannonball run bloopers,is where Jackie Chan got the idea for the gag reel for his own movie's.
Burt sure enjoyed the company of homosexual men.
Who?
@@freedomsnotfreefreedomsnot3270 Dom Deluise, Charles Nelson Riley, Michael Jeter. That doesn't mean Burt himself was gay. It means he valued his friends no matter what they did with other men.
@@tommyudo3195 I know Burt wasn't, I just didn't know who was, that information wasn't ever talked about.
@@freedomsnotfreefreedomsnot3270 Probably because you're straight.
@@tommyudo3195 Dom wasn't gay, he had a wife and a family.
