    BOTH The K7M and K700 now only have suitable Diff Lock.
    Pros Addition For The K-7M: STABILITY! As mentioned in the video it was not mentioned, yet its still one of its great strengths. By now when we see a vehicle that wide; we'd be hard pressed to flip it off its wheels. Apologies for not mentioning that upside! Stay Upright!

    Hello Nathan. I come from Germany and when I was a child I often had the opportunity to ride on the K-700 during the holidays (i was not the Driver 😄). As an adult, there is still the opportunity to admire a few models in agricultural museums here in Germany, some of them are in good condition, some of them are badly preserved.
    I was able to experience both the K-700 and the K-700-A and can only confirm the stories of the farmers at the time... the K-700 was rock hard due to the construction and after more than 8 hours in the field you either had back pain or was deaf 😄 his consumption was also extremely high.
    It was rather unsuitable for the fields in Germany because it was really huge. If you had to cross the road to change fields, it could get tight for an inexperienced driver.
    The K-700 came to East Germany through the Russians and was used for the so-called LPG in the former DDR 😊

    There is a potential for some people to overlook these vehicles just because they are thinking about them wrong.
    I drive vehicles like this IRL. They are designed for traction and power. The weight combined with the torque allows it to pull great weight through heavy resistance. They can be packed on the Heavy Duty Lowboy trailer and hauled to wherever you need. For example, the big mud hole in Alaska and the swamps in Wisconsin. I recommend putting the Duals on the K-7M and putting it on a trailer to haul to a mud hole you need to cross regularly. Then use it to 'Tugboat' through the swampy stuff you would normally detour around

      Very good point! They are really good for aiding and assisting other vehicles

    • @drock5597
      @drock5597 Год назад

      @Nathan Province you you get something stuck they will literally pull anything anywhere. If you have an azov antarctic on its side hooked to a trailer, you can pull the whole thing through the swamp in Island Lake, and you won't stop till you run out of fuel or get caught on an immovable snag

    I've been waiting for the K700 to return from MudRunner. It was always one of my favorites. Now all I need is the B-6A and that logging tractor from the Ridge DLC and I'll be in heaven

      I haven’t played the prior games, but that would be nice to see them brought back

    • @FossilFighter08
      @FossilFighter08 Год назад +2

      I remember the logging tractor is the D-538 and it's a huge heavy squat truck with a crane mounted directly to its frame for moving logs, and the B-6A was just a little farm tractor which admittedly wasn't very useful for scouting or hauling but it had a unique design and it would be nice to see them get the Snowrunner overhaul they deserve

    • @g1g3l
      @g1g3l Год назад +2

      @@FossilFighter08 Thought you're reffering to the K-8400 Skidder as the logging tractor since I didn't knew the 538 came with the ridge. It would be great if they add the old russian trucks from mudrunner to snowrunner in year 3. I do miss the old king, the E-7310.

    • @FossilFighter08
      @FossilFighter08 Год назад +1

      @@g1g3l The Skidder is pretty cool as well but I could never quite figure out how to use it properly and I just hauled trailers with it lol and yeah the Type E was the undisputed king of MudRunner and I miss that truck as well. An absolute beast of a machine that is

    • @g1g3l
      @g1g3l Год назад

      @@FossilFighter08 Especially on the river crossing mission on deluge map. Just the sheer ammount of strenght that truck gave off would top anything snowrunner has so far. Had to get it on SR so I used the zikz pack just to have it. There's also a MAZ 538 mod. But it doesn't have the crane sadly.
      I'm half expecting saber to add more mudrunner trucks in the future since this phase we got 2, the K-700 and the B-130 as the Pike

    I never found farming that bad even with the K7M. I quickly got used to cutting down the middle, sweeping around and going down one side, then sweeping around and doing the other side. It's all about spacing out your cuts up and down the field so you don't have to make sharp turns.
    Also being a experienced Tatarin user I'm used to little tricks to get a bit more steering out of shallow turning vehicles, like for example letting of the gas so you shift the weight of the vehicle forward, giving the steering axle more grip. It's not about always keeping the throttle pinned all the time, matter fact driving like that can even come back to hurt you sometimes.
    As for stuff being at the end of the fields, it depends. One field I did I would make a cut though the field, just go straight and drive out through the ditch, turn around on the road, back through the ditch and go down the field again. This was a field on Crossroads I think. Another field on Institute I'd some something similar I'd make a cut down the field, drive between a line of widely spaced tree's and turn around in the adjacent muddy field, you don't have to worry, a K7M on duels isn't getting stuck no matter what you drive into. If there ever is something like building at the end of a field, just take the time to take 2 or 3 cuts out of the bad end of the field to give yourself space to turn around, then you can proceed up and down the length of the field as normal.
    I didn't mind doing a farming mission here and their, the only thing that ended up burning me out was that big contract where you needed to farm up 12 potatoes. Otherwise I felt Season 8 was well balanced and mixed up farming with other things to keep you interested.
    I do use the K-700 and K7M as repair vehicles now, they do a pretty good job at it. I used K-700 with a maintenance trailer in Taymir and got multiple vehicles repaired in 1 trip. After 8 seasons these tractors have finally replaced the F-750 in the support role, which I've now reworked into a second 1 slot crane truck, a running mate for the Actaeon that can be used on slightly longer trips since it has a bigger fuel tank.
    But yeah I agree about the garages, I would of used trailers a lot more then I ended up using them if Saber had just put trailer squares in the garage parking lot like they usually do. But since you got to drive out of your way for a trailer store, I really never used them much. Probably biggest mistake Saber made in Season 8 to me.

    Farming, well that was a great idea with a less than stellar execution. It could have been handled better but I digress.
    Putting the farming aside since these are the only vehicles that can do it, I will just go onto the only other real use I have for these guys, specifically the K7M.
    Mud tow truck.
    I had this guy parked on the Amur map where there's a huge mud slog that you need to take multiple times up to the fuel and train station. I'd park many heavy vehicles, fully loaded, along that route. Some of them could plow through that spot on their own but others had trouble. Along comes the K7M with it's huge tires and wide stance. Just gleefully pulled through those massive trucks with their loaded trailers, through..slowly but surely. Don't need to wiggle, don't need to winch out, just drop it into low and hit the gas. Having the van body on I can double it's use by refilling vehicles as I tow them through, keeping them topped up and repair any damage they might have.

    I was hoping the K-7M was going to perform a little bit better than the 700, but maybe not. The only thing it might do better than what you mentioned is holding a line when farming at higher speeds. I haven’t been able to find the K-7 yet and now I’m not in a rush to find it. Thanks for the reviews!

    • @NProvince
      @NProvince  Год назад +1

      The only thing the K-7M lacks is turning radius and maybe height of its air intake. It’s probably the best off-road performer out of all the super heavy trucks. For farming it does well, but I’m just not a fan of how hard it is to turn around.

  • @Lord_Verminaard

    I was really happy to see the K700 coming back as I used it a TON in Mudrunner, but was pretty disappointed in Snowrunner. In Mudrunner, it had a ton of power and the AWD was switchable, (normally driven by the front wheels) and therefore consumption was very good. It also had a 3-speed transmission but it still had a very high top speed. It was also more versatile. The only real downside was the water crossing depth was fairly shallow for what it should have been. I am still happy it is in Snowrunner but I wish it was as much of a beast as it was in Mudrunner.
