I saw ZZ Top on 8.6.22, just a few days ago, in Atlanta, GA. It was Electric! Literally! Lightning filled the sky, and it got so bad that Kenny Wayne Shepard had to cut his act short. Eventually ZZ Top came on, but not before an hour intermission waiting for the storm to pass. It never passed, but they played anyway! Southerners don't fear a little lightning!

“85-‘86. Since then have watched players talk about the one pickup thing. Phil X and others. Gotta say, it’s Sweet. I can’t handle too many knobs and switches anyway. Tone is fantastic. Have you thought about talking about how you get the tones you use. Doesn’t matter if it’s amps and pedals or modelling, the principles are the same. I’d not have thought to use fuzz and a tele.
